Our bar and restaurant open daily to guests and the general public from 11am to 11pm .
We met friends here last Sunday for lunch. It’s an impressive old building and is situated up the hill near the castle so it has fabulous views over the surrounding area. The staff were friendly, the food was lovely, and the pricing was reasonable. What more could you ask for!

A pretty cottage, right on the Devon Cornwall Border, nestled against the River Tamar. Luxuriously finished to 5 star standard. Two double/twin rooms, walk in shower room, lounge dining room with fully equipped modern kitchen. A haven for wildlife, country walks and convenient for the A30 to and from Cornwall and Devon and near by Launceston town. Perfect location for a wide range of days out.
We’ve literally just returned from an idyllic 10 night break in the cottage attached to the B&B. Louise and Greg have clearly put a lot of hard work and love into the cottage, as well as the B&B and C.L. The cleanliness was second to none, and the facilities were superb. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the bed comfortable. Little touches, like the tea, coffee, milk and homemade Christmas cake waiting for us was unexpected but lovely. Our 6 month old German Shepherd also had a little gift left for her! We barely used the kitchen though, as Louise is a chef and offers a fantastic menu, at a very reasonable price. Christmas dinner was stunning, along with the fish pie, salmon en croute, coq au vin… the list could go on. Homemade mince pies and mulled wine were brought to our door on Christmas Eve by Greg, again, it was the little touches that make this place special. Talking to one of the caravaners, it sounds like we missed out on a fabulous Afternoon Tea, again all homemade and delivered to your accommodation. I’d also recommend ordering a breakfast at least once, ours was very tasty, piping hot and it kept us going all day. If you like walking, there are plenty of places to explore. After a few hours out, it was heavenly to relax in the cottages’ private hot tub. Tavistock, Bude & Padstow are about 30mins drive away, it’s a great area to be based in. Within 2 days into our break, we booked for the same time next year, roll on December 2022! We would 100% recommend booking to stay here if you’re in the area.

Very nice room with king bed and all the needed amenities. A bit noisy in the morning due to children in the room above. Food in the restaurant was mediocre and service in the evening was horrible. Too many guest for the staff to handle. Breakfast staff was great.

Three delightful B&B suites, each comprising a double or twin bedroom, private lounge and en-suite shower/bathrooms. Each suite benefits from its own private external access, with breakfasts being taken in the communal dining room. Guests are welcome to use the gardens, outside seating areas with chimeneas, the extensive woodlands with shady walks, the meadow running down to the River Tamar. Fishermen with a rod licence are welcome to fish on our frontage to the Tamar for salmon and brown trout in season.
This was our second visit here and you really can't beat it. The hosts are so welcoming and are happy to give us tips on where to visit ;the rooms are beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. There is cream tea on arrival; the breakfasts are cooked the way you like them and with home made or local produce and this year they have introduced supper dishes which we loved - after a hard day of driving and exploring coming " home" to a hot supper is marvellous.. The views are fantastic and the walk through their woods to the river is highly recommended. Altogether a wonderful stay.

Rose Cottage offers quality accommodation with a good service. A perfect central base for touring Devon & Cornwall, visiting the Eden Project, Boscastle & Tintagel, Lands End, Clovelly, surfing, golf, walking or cycling. Rose Cottage is a comfortable, beautifully decorated B & B guesthouse in Launceston. Superb views of Launceston Castle and surrounding countryside. Breakfast provides Hearty and Healthy choices, using locally produced ingredients. 4 minutes walk to nearest pub/restaurant.
My stay at Rose Cottage was excellent with spectacular views. The house and room was spotless and I arrived to a very warm welcome from Karen. Nothing was too much trouble, good advise given on local amenities and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There is a fish and chip van just a few hundred yards away called the Cod Father that I would also strongly recommend. To top it off the price was outstanding value and Karen's 'home made fudge' provided a very nice treat for my wife. Thank you Karen and Adrian. Regards Paul F.

Dorset Farm offers both B&B and self catering accommodation (with a private garden) in the heart of the beautiful Cornish countryside. Woods, fields, wildlife and the River Tamar as one of our boundaries make it a lovely tranquil place to stay. Many attractions nearby.
Had a lovely relaxing stay at the property. The location was superb and the hosts were so welcoming, showing us around their beautiful property and gardens. The cooked breakfasts were lovely and very filling. The only minor hiccup I had was that I found the bed too firm but my fiancé thought it was ok. Other than that, we would highly recommend this property. We’d love to return to this stunning property.

Staying at Chynoweth Trelash B & B provides you with an ideal location to explore both Cornwall and Devon. There is easy parking for all of our guests so from the moment you arrive you can relax and enjoy the start of your holiday. Upon arrival your room will be available for you from 4pm with full access to it throughout your stay. Being close to the North Cornish coastline we are within easy reach of Tintagel, Port Isaac, Boscastle, Crackington Haven and Bude. The edge of the moors is just down the road with Rough Tor and Brown Willy providing ideal walking opportunities as well as the south west coast path. Slightly further afield are places such as Padstow, Rock or Clovelly along with many more throughout Cornwall and Devon. Trelash is situated on part of the national cycle route so we do see a few Lands end to Jon O Groats guests as we are an ideal stop over point on their journey. Being motorcyclists ourselves we are biker friendly and enjoy meeting fellow biker guests.
We had a very warm welcome from Della & Paul when we stayed in their lovely B&B. Everything was of a very high standard, including the furniture, décor, bed linen and towels and everywhere was spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. The breakfasts were plentiful and freshly cooked to perfection. Extra touches included tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary biscuits & free wi fi in the room. Chynoweth is a very comfortable B&B in a quiet hamlet but it is close to some stunning scenery with lots of interesting places to visit. We found Della & Paul to be super hosts with a great sense of humour and we would definitely recommend their B&B to anyone. Very impressive!
