Quantity without quality
Reviewed By hennyottenBeautiful surroundings. The rooms may be spacious but the furniture are outdated and the room is dark and sad. The restaurant is a catastrophe. We were placed at a table in a dark corner. The tables with a nice view were reserved for guests who had been there several days. We did not feel welcome. The cook must be untalented. I could not find the wellness they recommend on their website. The food tastes awful. Fastfoodlike. We have been so many other places in germany, where the food was delicious and the rooms light and gentle, and at a far better price. This place is not worth the money.

Reviewed By ZiL8Great setup next to a public swimming pool with a 50m lane. Big fun activities for older kids (and younger too, just by the hotel). Area calls for hikes, mountain biking, runs etc. Don't miss the nearby (15km) Bocksberg with a ski lift and 'luge'/bobsleighs - great fun in the summer. But in the hotel - stay away from the evening buffet. Horrible! Get a little buzz on the nice German white wines instead (greatly underestimated, compared to the French wines BTW). Breakfast was OK and plenty, though, following German traditions with fresh fruit, müesli etc.)

Good value for money hotel
Reviewed By home2310My wife and our 2 girls (3 and 5) stayed for 2 night during our Harzen holiday. Hotel is nice and calm and has a really nice view from the terasse. Breakfast was okay not great (simple). We used it mainly for sleep over for some day trips and hiking and for that is was just great and good value and will surely check again when we go back to harzen for a break.

A lovely peaceful location after a hectic day working, very friendly staff and excellent food. Popular with the locals and a very comfortable stay.

Reviewed By heoehringNach Weihnachten 2016 haben wir drei Nächte in der Pension "An der Laute" verbracht. Schon der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Das helle und freundlich eingerichtete Zimmer mit einer bequemen Sitzecke luden zum Verweilen ein. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet in gemütlicher Atmosphäre war ein schöner Tagesbeginn. Für die Wünsche der Gäste haben die Eheleute Schiffmann immer ein offenes Ohr. Selbst zu vorgerückter Stunde bekam man noch eine warme Mahlzeit. Meine Frau und Ich haben den Abend meist, mit einer Partie Billiard bei einer gut gekühlten Flasche Bier aus dem Tresenkühlschrank, ausklingen lassen. Im Mai 2017 ist der nächste Aufenthalt geplant. Reviewed By florians76Wir waren zu fünft über eine Nacht im Hotel. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet, alles ist vorhanden. Zum Frühstück gab es alles was man braucht auch in guten Mengen. Negativ war das Fassbier am Abend und der Kaffee am Morgen. Hier hat irgendetwas nicht gestimmt. Für 1-2 Nächte definitiv ok.

Reviewed By Arie OGoede plek voor diegenen die rust icm mooie omgeving waarderen. Op loopafstand de in Duitsland blijkbaar bekende Snitzel Konig oftewel een snitzel paradijs zegt men. In het kleine centrum echter ook het Zwergen Stube restaurant waar ook een goede snitzel te krijgen is. En ook nog de Bergbau, Mijn net naast de snitzel koning. Was nu vanwege Corona gesloten. Terug naar het gasthaus :Slaapkamer incl koelkast met drinken erin ook prima. Geen vertier verder dus voor ons perfect. Gastvrouw aardig en ontbijt ook goed.

Reviewed By Norbert PHaben schon viele mahle da Hochzeiten gefeiert immer gleich bleibend gut. Sehr gute Küche und Top geschultes Personal.Sehr bekanntes hotel kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.Auch nach Goslar ist man schnell und man kann die Kaiser Stadt besichtigen.
