We are a small, friendly mountain hotel surrounded by the Rosselot Lake National Reserve in La Junta, Aysen Region, Chilean Patagonia. We have 9 well equipped and spacious rooms in the hotel and a Mountain Chalet with 2 rooms, all with superior equipment. Common areas include terraces, bar, 2 living rooms with fireplaces, gardens and a restaurant open in mid and high seasons. We are located just 1 km from the Palena and Rosselot Rivers, 8 km from Lake Rosselot and 17 km from "El Sauce" rustic and natural hot springs. We are the northern entrance to the Aysen region, one hour's drive from the Queulat National Park and Puyuhuapi ( 43 km south ). From La Junta you may enjoy the Palena River basin valleys visiting Raul Marin Balmaceda where the river reaches the ocean ( 75 km west ) or the town of Lago Verde in the mountains (70 km to the east). " Espacio y Tiempo - Mountain Hotel " is a world of solutions in the Austral Road, ideal operations center for the northern part of Aysen.
Though we arrived late at night, they were expecting us, the restaurant was about to close and we were served a wonderful meal of fresh pastas, wine and desert. Breakfast offered fresh fruit, homemade yogurt and granola, jams, real coffee, 2 different types of ham, local cheese, and various types of bread. A feast! Rooms are spatious, clean, warm, with very good beds and showers. There is much attention to detail, the service was very thoughful and professional. This is one place I would love to come back to.

It is an innovative construction that rescues architectural language used in the Aysen region (like the tingle), where one of its main activities is the timber. Proposes the addition of new applications and materials such as ceiling and mañío, volcanic rock on fireplace and fences. Our goal is to become a landmark eco-tourism, where accommodation is offered in a warm and welcoming ambient
This is a lovely hotel, a really cozy and intimate gem. The building is entirely built in timber which provides a warm and beautiful atmosphere. Bed sheets and towels are shiny white and the beds are wonderful. The rooms are not that wide, but it wasn't a problem for us as we were only there during night time. Windows are not that wide which makes sense if these are not double pane and the goal is to keep the perfect room temperature. Toilet and shower worked great. The staff is incredibly friendly and always helpful Location is central and breakfast is awesome!

Terrazas del Palena is a great place to rest, eat and enjoy your time. I thought I’m going to spend only one night there, but ended up spending couple of days and willing to come back for more :) The family is amazingly warm and friendly, the food is delicious and the views are stunning!! Very peacefull place and for me - definetely the best in the area! :)
