The double suites can accommodate 2 adults each and the family suites accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (under 16yrs on day beds in the lounge). The family suites also include a private vehicle and ranger. A private vehicle is available at an additional cost for guests staying in a double suite. The lodge is intimate, relaxed and trendy with décor inspired by the vibrant colours and textures of our nearby villages. The suites of Ecca Lodge are airy and open with flowing interiors that extend outwards to the wilderness. Wraparound decks, complete with private plunge pools and outdoor showers, offer sweeping views and complete relaxation. All ages are welcome.

The nine intimate suites include en-suite bathrooms featuring an outdoor shower as well as an indoor bath and shower. From the viewing decks, watch majestic kudu meander up and down the river or soak in the view from the cool waters of your suite’s private plunge pool. Distinctively South Africa, look out to the bush landscape which has inspired the design from the comfort of deep sofas and antique furniture. An intimate private safari home imbued with old-world romance, the remote location offers complete tranquillity for up to six guests. Three suites with private verandas and en suite bathrooms combine modern comfort with time-honoured luxury. Built in the early 1900s, the original farmhouse has been lovingly restored to ensure its charm, warmth, and character shine through. The kitchen is this homestead’s heart and soul where meals are created to be shared by friends and family under the African sky in the boma after the day’s adventures.
