Premium quality material such a wood, nature stone and marmor are creating a wellbeeing atmosphere. A short walk of 10 minutes and you reach the lake of Constanze. Kressbronn is a good location for exploring the great landscape of the lake.

Reviewed By JontyMortWe stayed one night here en route from Salzburg to England via France. Rooms are very comfortable but the true star is the dinner. Just go with the menu of the day. In our case one dish came with asparagus- which I love but my wife does not - and the chef provided her with a beautiful alternative. We explored Lindau the next day. If you want a whole day in Lindau, forget the palace hotels there - stay at the Friesinger and take the train.

Missed booking
Reviewed By PPerssonI and my friends booked single rooms several months in advance. I confirmed a week before. My friends called a couple of days before and were told that since they had not confirmed the hotel had sold their rooms. How difficult could it be to send an email and ask if you want confirmation? When arriving there was no single room for me. Instead I was booked in a small apartment (one bathroom) with another person I did not know. Due the the AERO Messe all hotels were full so I either had to accept or sleep in a park. The apartment was in the old part next to an extremely noisy road crossing and a church ringing it's bells every quarter. They reduced the price from €83 to €56. With the noise and unknown person they should not have charged at all, since they were responsible for the mistake!! No cold water in the morning and the first day Internet did not work. So if you book this hotel - book in the new building away from the street and confirm well in advance! The hotel restaurant was good.

Perfect location
Reviewed By cnjsvillanpoolThis was our second stay at Hotel Schattmaier and this time we treated ourselves to a room with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Rooms are always spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. There’s always a tranquil atmosphere here with boats slowly drifting in and out of the harbour. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and found the buffet breakfast to be good quality and sufficient. A small walk takes you to the lake with stunning views.

We had a sudden and unexpected hardship while guests at the hotel and were very happy to be able to count on the owner and staff to help out in every way. Nice hotel on the lake
Reviewed By SapkarKressbronn Seehotel is nice and elegant hotel located by the lake. We booked a double room (without lake view), but actually all hotel rooms have a partial view of the lake. The room size is sufficient with everything that you need. The hotel has a small private beach in front, where you can find sun beds and sun chairs. The breakfast offered is rich in choice and in quality. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the cheese selection offered for breakfast. The hotel is also offering free parking to the hotel guests. Overall, a very good hotel for a relaxing short stay.

Reviewed By BeppeAxCanceThe lady at the reception said that wifi works only in the reception just for whatsapp messages or reading emails. It doesn’t work in the room. It’s pretty bad because i don’t “live” in the reception. In the flat nearside the hotel you can connect to an other network, but every day at 21.30/22 internet goes down. The lady said that i don’t have to download or watch YouTube videos because there are “too many people connected”. And when i asked if there is possibile to ask to the internet company to check the network, she answered that she has to ask to the government to fix that. Also i’ve got to ask to make them change the towels even if the towels are on the floor since 4 days. Last thing is that the air fan in the bathroom gives you a bad smell when you turn it on. I expected better services here in Germany, expecially for internet. I hope that these are problems just for this hotel.

very nice hotel..but some could be better
Reviewed By filovovery clean and nice hotel with beatifull view. room were ok no issues with that. breakfast was one of the best moments in hotel with wide range of meals . For dinner I have good meal but my colleagues has cold meat and not so best fish that you can imagine. service should be also better - waiting for service for order another drinks ...this could be better for 4 star hotel. but this happend only on dinner. but I can recommend it.

Reviewed By Vi LWe decided to spend a quiet and relaxing evening and night in this cute little pension.the scenery and the house are cute and very charming HOWEVER... the owners/couple runing the facility are extremely unfriendly and unflexible.questions are hardly answered and we had the impression we were bothering them. We decided to enjoy the evening at the hotel having some snacks from a shop on the beautiful deck for sunset...we have been thrown out of the EMPTY terrasse with the excuse "it is for guests who want to have our food so we can't stay there" (OK fair enough!!!) "And you have a nice balcony so you should go back" (rude) As we asked for at least a fork and a knife we had to hear "no the kitchen is closed" (they are the owners they have the key!!!! + why do you tell me then the deck is for the facility's food BUT the kitchen is closed!!!!!) BUT THEY WERE ENJOYING WINE ON THE DECK!!! So be careful if you want to sleep in the area...just go anywhere but not here!!!!

The venerable and historic house - with the beary charm - for creative thinkers long sleepres, Quick travelers and early risers , Evergreens and beaks, Business People & holiday freaks. The fair city of Friedrichshafen is only 11 km away. You can feel the love of teddy bears and in all detail. The creative cuisine using local organic products - a thoroughly successful combination.

Reviewed By Simon WThis is a hotel in a lovely small town on the Bodensee, loaded with teddy bears. But it is not for children, and the manager is rather unfriendly. Bathroom facilities were less than comfortable, and no double glazing worth the name. The excellent breakfast, kindly served, was unfortunately not enough to save it.
