He had a very nice stay, enjoyed the breakfast as well, but unfortunately he forgot his winter coat in the hotel room closet. We called the hotel that same day, and gave the front desk our address and credit card information, to use for shipping the jacket to our home. It arrived neatly packed in a box, and they did not even charge us for this. Thank you for everything!

Reviewed By T71pWhat an excellent hotel stay! We were visiting with family for two weeks and needed a hotel that accepts pets. La Quinta Is a brand of choice for us since they accept pets and are generally good properties. This Kokomo LaQuinta is an outstanding property. Modern, clean rooms, fluffy towels and a great staff. Marilyn, the Manager, made our Chow Chow welcome with dog treats and sweet talk! The front desk staff was always accommodating and friendly as were the cleaning staff. We were unaware that hotel housekeeping for extended stays are no longer daily, probably because of lack of staff due to the pandemic. However, the staff would “refresh” our room whenever we requested. This is a first rate, excellently run property.

New and clean hotel with spacious king suite rooms & a pool....definitely would recommend!
Reviewed By jodsquadWe stayed in Kokomo for 1 night (May 21-22, 2022) for traveling soccer games at Trinity Sports Park in Noblesville (35 minute drive from hotel). All of the decent hotels in Noblesville / Indy were $200-$500 for 1 night so we stayed a little further away for a lower rate. It was $170 at Holiday Inn Express Kokomo for a king suite and was worth the extra drive. The hotel looked brand new, was clean and had a friendly staff. We were able to checkin before we arrived, through an email link. We said we'd arrive at 3pm ( earliest checkin time) and they emailed us that our room was ready even sooner than expected, around 1:30pm. This was a wonderful surprise so we arrived sooner, which worked out great for us. Nice selection for breakfast options for non-meat eaters like us: bagels, fruit, juice, water bottles, muffins, coffee and tea. Also, they had a pancake machine but it was out of service. Would love to see a non-dairy milk or non-dairy yogurt option in the future. Breakfast started at 7:30am, which did seem late for a hotel. The room was beautiful and spacious! The only odd thing was our king bed sheets smelled strongly of a man's cologne. We weren't sure if it was the detergent, a spray they put on the sheets or if they hadn't been washed from the last guest. Overall, great experience and we'd definitely stay again!

Reviewed By lrigneytrainDon't stay here! The place is old, run down, stinky and known as the dump in Kokamo. Don't go by the pictures on their website as they must have been taken 20 years ago!! Undesirable is an understatement!!

Walked in. Looked at the room and walked out. Maybe that's too long of a title

The door to their extra storage building was standing open with trash laying outside. There were some abandoned pallets. Three or four stacked against a wall. Walked into the inside lobby. The front door was filthy had not been cleaned in a long time. The inside was dark and dingy. The manager came to the desk after I waited. Maybe a minute Said she was on the phone. It was a business call not playing games. I told her I had a reservation and she asked me if I could walk up and down stairs and I said I didn't want to walk up to the second floor from the first floor but carrying my suitcase but I can use the elevator. The elevator was out. She tells me I said well I'm not walking up that long flight of stairs. Well could you walk eight steps and I see yeah I can get my luggage down eight steps. Not a problem or up eight steps so she gave me room on the first floor going down eight steps. I had to drive around to the back which was looked as bad as the front. The parking lot is unbelievablely full of holes I proceeded to the south door to enter the building. The lock was missing off of the door. There was no door handle. The door was slightly a jar when I walked in. The floor was filthy. The carpet had not been cleaned in a long time. I proceeded to the room when I opened the door. The room smelled musty been closed up for a long time. The nightstand clock light all had dust on them. The room carpet look cleaner than the outside but was a pattern so very hard to tell. It was a very disgusting room. Nothing I would stay in. The woman did not seem surprised when I drove back to the front to check out and she had already refunded my money. I can't believe the picture that is in the internet is not the building on Lincoln road, the Baymont by Wyndham It was unsafe and filthy. It didn't deserve a dog to stay there. I keep my dog in cleaner space than that was funny. They will not let you put a rating or a survey on their website and they didn't ask me my opinion of them to put on their website. Whatever you do don't stay there. I checked into the laquita by Wyndham and it was very nice, clean and the best staff I've ever met in the hotel. Really love the girls that were there. They were very helpful when I had a car problem. They help me get a cab so I won't be seeing it anymore Baymont better check out the hotel carefully before you go. That one was not safe and it isn't fit for a dog to be in

Interior great, exterior needs work
Reviewed By Jennifer BThe lady who checked us in around 8:30pm was very friendly. She offered dining suggestions when we asked. Also the lady who checked us out in the morning was friendly. Our room was very clean and no complaints there. Room was large the AC was a little noisy but nothing we could not ignore. My concern was when we walked back from dinner we realized 90% of the parking lot lights were out. Also the outside key card entrance on the side was not working. I specifically had parked under a light since we were traveling and I did not want to completely empty the car. However it was light when we parked so I had no idea the lights were mostly out. Hopefully it was something that was malfunctioning and it has been fixed by now.

Disgusting and Rude Service
Reviewed By 794zachariahtRight after checking in at Comfort Inn, we left right away and went out to eat. When we returned from eating and somebody from our party used the bathroom, there was a used washcloth hanging on the shower head. We let the front desk know and they said to get with the person in the morning to see what could be done. When we got up this morning and talked to the lady at the front desk she was a massive JERK. After multiple times of being called a liar and being told by the lady there was no way they left a dirty used washcloth, we ended up leaving. We will be calling the manager on Monday to express our concerns

For some reason, all the hotels in Kokomo were booking up fast, so went with this one because I thought the Motel 6 would be bad. I wish I had saved the almost $150 more I spent for two nights. I'll give them credit...they are trying. New, comfy beds, new paint job in the room, and new fixtures. But paint on the new curtains? Paint splatters in the new sink? The tub should have been replaced, very old and outdated. But someone dumped yellow paint in the bottom and it was never cleaned out! Seriously? I just went through a kitchen remodel and I know what it takes to clean. Our room had not been deep-cleaned after remodel. Plaster dust on shelves...our bags white on the bottom for mistakenly think we could use the surface. No towel racks. The windows were filthy, a razor blade left after scraping. Now for the fun part. We booked for two nights because we have been on the road for two weeks. We wanted a good nights sleep. The racket began at midnight with the couple in the next room having a 'knock down, drag out' of monumental proportions. Screaming in the hall, slamming doors, throwing things against the walls. Other visitors were talking in the hall about the noise level. Then, I guess the reason for no hotel rooms returned for the night. Many college-aged people returned, using the elevator across from our room. Extremely loud, running up and down the hall. Someone even knocked on our door with filthy language. When my husband called the front desk, she was annoyed. The second time, she was really annoyed, told him she had already been up to the second floor and no one was there. He told her they were there. She arrived, told the group gathered outside our door that she had a second complaint and that they needed to go to their rooms. And then the couple next door began again. Don't stay here! These hotels need to take their customers seriously, and provide a good service. For over $100 a night, I expected much more!
