I booked 2 double rooms for a one night stay, whilst attending a function in the town . I would absolutely recommend this hotel, the staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived until we left the following morning . We received a warm welcome in the hotel bar and whilst we didn't have lunch, we noted a good number of dining room staff and heard a lot of favourable comments from residents and customers , particularly about the steak pie and Sunday Roast !! Our room was small, however it was very nicely decorated, spotless with tea/ coffee and biscuits . The ensuite was lovely, with an overhead shower, nice shower gel and fluffy towels . It was perfect for an overnight stay but possibly a bit small for Amy longer . There are larger rooms in the hotel . Breakfast was delicious, fresh, plentiful and hot . Thank you to the staff for a lovely stay .

The Dean Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy provides quiet sanctuary within the buzz of a thriving town. Combining country house charm with modern comfort, the Dean Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy provides quiet sanctuary within the buzz of a thriving town. The beautiful hotel, situated on idyllic grounds, has recently undergone a revitalising face-lift to bring the hotel’s main reception areas, lounge bar and Kensington Suite into modern splendour and abundance in what is to be a continuous refurbishment over this year.
Visited with friends for an afternoon tea. The food was lovely, freshly made sandwiches, small hot savouries and 2 huge scones each, served with lots of jam and clotted cream. 3 cakes each too which defeated me. Very good value for money too at just under £15 a head including prosecco. The staff were very smart in their uniforms and helpful and professional. What a difference from the indifference and poor service of old. I hadn't visited The Dean Park for several years as it used to be fairly dire. The new owners seem to be investing a lot of time and money in refurbishment and it certainly looks really fresh and welcoming. Everything was immaculate and Ill definitely be back.

I stayed here for two nights and found everything to be great. The room was immaculately clean and had a lovely big window. Lovely and light and airy. It was next to a busy road but if I closed the window it cut out the noise as the double glazing was good. The bathroom was huge and the shower was amazingly powerful. There were massive soft towels and complementary shampoo etc. Hair dryer worked well as did kettle. There were tea bags and coffee sachets etc provided but no herb tea. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was basic but well presented. I didn't have the cooked breakfast but only because I prefer toast in a morning and what I saw other people having looked good. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed 3 nights in room 4. No hot water on our first night and only lukewarm next morning due to storm Ciara constantly blowing out the pilot light in the boiler! Staff were very apologetic. Lovely big room with comfortable bed. We have stayed here before in the summer and returned because of the fabulous breakfasts and we weren't disappointed. Enjoyed our stay despite the weather and the problems with hot water.

Ashgrove Bed&Breakfast is a family run 3 star Visit Scotland listed bed and breakfast. We are central located to all amenities and travel 5 mins walk.
Stayed here on Saturday 14th August for one night Bad mistake, owner said no room in dining room so you will have to fend for yourself. Place is grotty and in need of a totally refurbished owner needs to stop and take a look at himself and his business. This place needs its license revoked as it is false advertising. STAY AWAY PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING.
