Nice hotel, less quality beds
Reviewed By Patrick Swe have visited this gasthaus in february 2017. booked a 4 person familiy hotel. rooms were very nice. lot of attention to details. 2 level bedroom so the kids could sleep upstairs. only one real downside comment is regarding the quality of our mattress (also for the kids). these were really poor. when they do a better job there we suggest going there.

Okay, but too expensive
Reviewed By flypacWe stayed at the hotel for 1 night on a hot summer night. unfortunately there was no air conditioning and we didn´t sleep the whole night. We had to wait for check-in at the front desk for almost 10 minutes, because there was nobody there. The room is nice, spacious and clean with a big bathroom. And we thought the hotel was too expensive for what it has to offer - definitely not 4*.

The restaurant (and hotel) are in a great location, right in the center of town, at the Marktplatz, surrounded by beautifully restored ‘Fachwerkhaus’. Food (appetizer, main course, and cake for dessert) were fabulous, accompanied by a nice rose wine. Very friendly waiter and waitresses. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommended. Reviewed By Michael NHotel reasonably convenient for central Kirchheim (<2k away). Arrived at 4pm and all locked up. Tried phone number provided for guests and as I speak little German could not make lady who answered understand. Eventually after knocking on door several times it was opened up. Able to register with some difficulty and pay on credit card then shown up to bedroom upstairs which was above main road and not quiet as requested. Room was quite big with a large toilet and shower. Plenty of storage space. Stayed 4 nights and did not take breakfast as a nice bakery/cafe next door. Ran out of toilet paper on last morning and cleaner did not understand so ended up borrowing some from restaurant toilets Will review restaurant separately as visited with relatives. Car parking is in lay-by opposite with time restrictions between 8 & 6. Nobody around when we tried to book out so just left the key. All I can say is hotel is acceptable. Unable to open widows overnight in warm weather due to the noise. Will not stay here on our next visit to the area due shortly

Reviewed By tomkH251ABWas soll ich sagen, 5 Sterne und jeder einzelne ist es wert. Wir haben Urlaub gemacht und unsere Familie besucht. Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise war alles super. Die Wohnung ist hell, der Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe, das Bad, die Küche, die Schlafzimmer alles super ausgestattet. Wir haben tolle Infos erhalten und uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

An average 3-star hotel still ok for 1 night
Reviewed By ToThePoint2015I was travelling alone on a business trip. The room I got was with a very limited space - single bed and gliding door to the bathroom. The air in the hotel was flavored by a certain sweet agent; the smell in my room was strong even if the window was open. I couldn't find the source of the smell, so suppose it was distributed over the clime control system. Therefore I won't recommend that hotel to people suffering asthmatic disease. The availability of a restaurant in the hotel is an advantage. The food was of reasonable taste.

Warm welcoming and friendly
Reviewed By stucam55I chose this hotel as it was remodelled by Zaha Hadid. The fact that we received a wonderful warm friendly welcome and that the place was spotless, comfortable and extremely comfortable made it all the better. Our room had a timbered balcony with views out to Teck Castle and a gentle stream gurgling below which added to the restful nature of this haven. The breakfast room was bright and stylish and the food available plentiful and very fresh. As it was a Monday the adjacent restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the staff directed us to one that was just a few metres away.
