Terrible, absolutely terrible. Our apartment had an overwhelming smell of wet dog, we had to sleep with the balcony door wide open all night as well as the bedroom windows and 2 airconditioners on just to be able to stand the smell. One tiny body wash and one tiny soap for the 2 of us for 2 nights.advertised as a queen bed but we had a double bed, first world problem I know but on top of everything else!! The one redeeming feature was the young lady in reception, she was a delight and did her best to make things right. Whole building is tired. Will never be back

Overnight stopover

Could not fault Lindomare and would definitely stay again! The outside is dated but inside the apartment was lovely. John met us on arrival and took us up to our room (even carried a bag!) and showed us around the apartment. Clean and well organised. Our children loved the speedy wifi. We walked to the surf club for dinner and then to De Lish Fish @Kings for gelato. Thank you for a lovely, carefree stay.

We are staying across the road at a fabulous apartment with a lovely ocean view. Unfortunately merrima apartments yesterday installed a glaring screen on the side of their building right in front of us. It is impossible to enjoy the ocean view with the glare of their advertisements in the corner of my eye

If you are expecting to see the same standard of apartment as appears on their website you will be SORELY DISAPPOINTED

Reviewed By TrueAsItIS

We stayed in Room 73 on the 7th floor of Burgess @ Kings Beach Apartments on my daughter’s birthday. If you are expecting to see the same impressive standard of apartment as appears on their website and their marketing, then you will be SORELY DISAPPOINTED, as it is evident that those photos were taken a very long time ago. The apartments and furnishings are quite dated and somewhat unclean and unkept. The floors and counter tops were dirty/dusty, with dead insects on the counters. As per the attached photos the carpets were disgustingly dirty and stained… As per the attached photo, the beddings were not clean and was stained to the extent that my child refused to use the bed in disgust and slept on the sofa. The manager was shown this where he indicated disgust. There is no air conditioning. Yes, it may not be mentioned that the apartments have air conditioners, but like running water and electricity it is taken for granted that in Queensland, air conditioners are a standard necessity especially during summer months. It was windy during the duration of our stay and the sliding doors and windows constantly rattled extensively and the loud noise was quite unnerving. The ocean view would have been awesome if the windows were clean enough to see outside! The windows were so dirty that the view seemed like looking through frosted glass. Refer to photos as reference. The grounds were clean and presentable. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi/spa bath was not operational. Use of the sauna is strictly limited to office hours only. As we arrived late on Friday afternoon it was locked and unfortunately the same restriction for use of the facilities from lunch on Saturday. The sauna was locked, and the manager refused to give us access to the key as it was out of office hours (till 12 pm). Only upon extreme begging and rationalizing did he reluctantly concede and indicated that he was doing us a huge favor by allow us use of the sauna. A 9:30am check out time, is the earliest check out time I have ever encountered. This is way too early especially considering that you have to move a family with luggage out without breakfast early Sunday morning. One has to clean the apartment and then move your vehicle out of a locked cramped car park then come around and the check out in time. We requested a later checkout, the manager ardently refused to extend any further than an hour. Holistically, 10:30am was still an unreasonable time. Chris, the receptionist, sounded quite pleasant and helpful but she was not there over the weekend. Holistically, this accommodation cost is way overpriced for what you get. The only nice thing about the accommodation is that the view is lovely. Otherwise not great value at all. I have tried to give a realistic review. I have attached photos to substantiate my review. One critical advice… when you drive out of the steepish driveway, be careful as you enter the road, as the rear of your vehicle may slam onto the landing as you enter the road, even with an elevated vehicle like mine.

Great position

Booked a 3 night stay with family via management directly after being cancelled out of another booking from a booking website. Very helpful and organised and during our stay the management were visible and active. The apartment itself is dated but functional. Felt like a proper 70s/80s family holiday. 2 bathrooms was good and showers ok. Bed was a little uncomfortable at times. Great position opposite the beach. Good quality internet for the kids, nice private pool. Garage underneath was a tight fit and rather awkward to access but the security gate worked well. In this case, paying for the position, not the facility. Needs an update. Would I stay here again? Yes. Management are helpful and kids were happy.

A very comfortable long weekend stay

Reviewed By Lyndon_Elisabeth

My wife and I, and our adult son, shared a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The apartment was very well equipped and very roomy. This is an older block of apartments, but in a great position at Kings Beach. The block is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped, but there are plenty of restaurants with a short walk. Mark, the manager, is very laid back and extremely helpful.

This is our third visit and we'll continue to stay here whenever we need a place to stay in Caloundra.

Fantastic place to stay in Caloundra.

We have just spent four nights at the apartments and we could not be more satisfied. The accommodation was brilliant, beds were so comfortable and the whole place spotless and so well equipped, you couldn't ask for more, so many little extras that make such a difference. Plenty of housekeeping items, washing powder and dish washing liquid and even tissues in the bathroom and towels that would be worthy of a five star hotel. The pool area was also perfect and well maintained, we didn't use the barbeques but they also looked great. So close to Kings Beach, easily accessed via the lane at the back of the apartments, just a short three minute walk and from there you could head into the main Street of Caloundra via the boardwalk. Deb and Dave were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all an excellent place to stay whilst in beautful Caloundra.

Great location

We loved sleeping to and waking up to the sound of the ocean, and taking in the views of the ocean from our bedroom, balcony and the main living area. It was so soothing and relaxing. The fact that school holidays was over was an added bonus as we seemed to have the resort all to ourselves (despite full occupancy)!
