One of the worst greeting we got
Reviewed By siravichwWe greeted with the staff said that we haven’t reserved the room. It’s theirs mistake. Even not a apology. This room we can’t get the keycard to work, even the housemaid. She said that the keycard of the housemaid is working but don’t. The staff at the front desk seen not enough attention for our visit. Bad service Hope you improve this situation.

Worth considering but need a taxi to go to town !
Reviewed By 55rodneyaWell worth staying for the price approx AUD$50 for a standard deluxe room . Bed is very comfortable & the room is very clean. Only down side is that you would need a taxi to go down town to the night markets or restaurants ! Staff are very friendly & the food in the restaurant was very good & prices are okay for a hotel .

Reviewed By Coffee CThe Chada Veranda is an honest mid-range, centrally located hotel, in Khon Kaen City, Isaan, Thailand. This guest-friendly accommodation option, was suggested to me, by a fellow expat and glad I followed the advice, as I really enjoyed my short stay here. Highlights being the economical and hearty breakfast, as well as the magnificent pool. My room was spacious with a big comfortable bed and an excellent television set-up, too. Well pleased with decision to stay awhile at the Hotel Chada Veranda (see my YouTube), in downtown Khon Kaen.

Very good value for money & close to Central Khon Kaen but no food
Reviewed By Andrew GMy second stay here ( last stayed around 5 years ago ) it still remains excellent value for a good clean well equipped room close to the City & Central Shopping Mall. Most of the local restaurants and coffee shops in the area are closed because of covid and general lack of business which impacts a little as the Hotel does not do hot food breakfast nor room service so can be difficult if you want a quick bite to eat in the evenings. Was a little dissappointed that we had paid to stay 3 nights and then decided to stay a further 3 nights - the receptionist on duty confirmed it was ok and asked whether we wanted to pay now or upon check out. I said check out would be easier - the next day returned to our room later in the day to discover that we had been 'locked out' of our room and they had made a phone call to my wifes daughter who is a friend of the owner and asked why we hadn't paid ? !! Absolutely no need for this we are hardly going to do a runner with 2 suitcases full of clothes and other belongings in our room and was annoyed with their attitude to say the least and tarnished our last few days there. Room staff / maids were very helpful and one even ran downstairs with my charger I had left in the room upon checkout.

Exceptional courtesy even for Thailand

Back to basics: the hotel takes the Convid19 hygiene measures very seriously. Our room was spacious and well appointed. (Not perfect as the kettle was broken - but sign of good hotel - was replaced immediately with a smile). Ok for wheel chair users and the handicapped will find the low bath and non-slip mat a help. Breakfast was excellent - although no western cereals there were omelettes, fruit. salads and toast in addition to Thai dishes. If we return to Khon Kaen we'll certainly stay here next time

This hotel prefers to lose a customer
Reviewed By kaan_rWe booked two rooms and arrived at the hotel a bit before noon. The reception told us that checking in before 2pm would incur a fee of 100 THB per hour per room. We asked if they could kindly give us the rooms as obviously there were not fully booked. We ended up by going to a nearby hotel where they accepted us to check in before 2pm without additional charge. That’s it, this hotel preferred to lose two rooms instead of arranging a more pleasant moment for guests.

It is newly and beautifully decorated with Eastern and Western themes on each floor, and artistic ambiance throughout fitting its name. Conveniently located and across from the public park with a 3km walking/bike trail around a lake. All rooms have a balcony. Look forward to welcoming you with our warmest Thai hospitality!
Good value hotel
Reviewed By neil eDidnt prebook, just driving past and decided to stay, its advertising the price on a banner outside(750 baht). Which is helpful. Plenty of parking, clean tidy reception and the staff spoke very good english. The room is large enough with a king sized bed and small balcony but my room didnt have a view. All around the hotel are many buffet style restaurants and its close to a night market alongside the lake which has an incredible choice of foods. The tv has a few english speaking channels. For me the location was perfect because i wanted to stay close to the lake.
