I traveled to this hotel and stayed one night while on business in the area. I found the hotel reception closed on my arrival but access to the hotel was very simple and easily understood. The room was spotless and very well appointed. There was no bar or food available. Breakfast was available and plenty of items on offer. The staff at breakfast a delight and wonderful. All the staff were wonderful. This hotel is a little Gem and so refreshing. If i am back in the area again i will be staying here again, wonderful and thank you.

Visited the hotel only for a night, as my trip had got pre-pond and my other hotel was full. But will definitely prefer for stay the next time. Good things.. - Place is clean and quiet, - the hosts are really helpful, Loved the hospitality - outside the room there is special self service area for tea and books, which is very well made... - good location - attached restaurant serving good food and liquor Only drawback, rooms are on 1st floor and they don’t have an elevator. Overall a great place to stay, Rest its a superb place to stay.

There are 73 modern rooms and 5 suites. All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning. The equipment includes a laptop safe with charging station, flat-screen TV, media hub, hair dryer and make-up mirror. The bathrooms are modern and open plan and have a rain shower shower. Free Wi-Fi is of course everywhere in the hotel. An outdoor parking space is available for your comfortable stay. The hotel has an e-charging station for electric cars. Immediately in front of the hotel will stop the airport city bus. The complex will include a cafe lounge, bar and restaurant in cooperation with Venga. The one or the other local visitors from Kleve knows. Hotel guests have breakfast here. Overall, the Venga offers space for 120 guests. Indoor and in good weather also on the terrace overlooking the Solepark.
I went back and forth on whether or not I should give this place a 1 or a 2. Trust me, I also considered a 0, but that is not an option. To be frank, this might have been the worst hotel experience in my life...so much so...that it makes me laugh. First, I get it that COVID-19 has changed many things. Upon arrival, there are signs on the door to call a number to gain access. This is fine; however, the two numbers offered were not being answered and my friends and I were put into a continual loop for the first fifteen minutes. Finally, we reach a live human who told us an access code for key boxes in which we would find our hotel keys. We were also told that the lobby bar would be open from 5:00 until 9:00. My friends' room key worked; however, neither of my keys worked. As it was close to 5:00, I figured it would not be too bad as I could have a beer while I tried to get this issue rectified. Again, I had issues reaching a live person as I continually went into the loop patter of welcoming messages in German and English. As this point, I did not feel welcomed, but my German was certainly improving. When I finally got someone, she told me she would call back in five minutes, but sadly, she DID NOT. At this point, it was well past 5:00, but still no one showed up at the bar. More frustration ensured as I again began the battle to reach someone. It was not until 6:30 that I reached someone who remotely recoded my room key. At the same time, an employee showed up at the desk and I shared my complete frustration. She apologized and offered to comp our breakfast meals. I thanked her for this gesture. I finally put my stuff in the room. However, I tried my keys to make sure this would not happen again. Alas, my keys were only coded for single entry. Luckily, the rooms have a common balcony so I left my balcony door unlocked as I was next door to my friends. We went to dinner and enjoyed an amazing meal at La Taverna Elio (see separate review). After dinner, my friends went to bed, but I decided to go to a bar attached to Hotel Rilano. I opted to leave my door open with the "do not disturb" sign keeping the lock from engaging. I felt safe as the hotel seemed empty. Overall, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean although there was no hand soap, which I think is counter to countering COVID-19. The next morning, we enjoyed a very nice, simple continental breakfast made with care. This is when I decided to bump my rating to a two. We asked for and was given a late checkout to 12:30 since we had morning meetings in Kalkar. She also recoded my keys again. To play it safe, I packed up all my belongings and put my overnight bag in my friends' room. Lo and behold that upon returning from our meetings, my keys did not work. There is either an issue with my door lock or the card key coder. This was the final straw, but I planned for this contingency. I changed out of my suit in my friends' room and we left for home in Stuttgart never to do business with Hotel Rilano again unless someone reached out to me. Nice place, but while the try to appear prepared for COVID-19, they failed miserably!

Cosy, little hotel in the center of Kevelaer, a little town near the airport of Weeze/Niedrrhein and Düsseldorf. Nice Art-Nouveau style in the whole house.
we decided to spend here our first wedding anniversary, the hotel is super beautiful and the owner was so kind to give us for the same price a better room because of special occasion. The room was big, very clean and with original Modern Style furnishings. Breakfast was very nice as well. The staff was all the time super nice and absolutely helpful. A very good experience.

With a large garden and surrounded by green fields and woods we offer a quiet and tranquil location for holiday goers, backpackers and business travellers. We are located 4km outside the town of Kevelaer and 6km outside of Geldern in the ancient village of Wetten.
The staff were extremely cordial but at the same time professional. The owner was very hospitable and the hotel was managed ethically, complete vegetarian breakfast, homemade organic apple juice and jams, .It has a rustic setting surrounded by greenery and nature but the nearby village has everything you need and a public transport system that allows you to explore easily. The rooms, beds, common areas are all clean and comfortable and one feels perfectly at home and welcome..

This hotel offers quiet, well-equipped accommodation and is located close to the train station of Kevelaer in the Niederrhein (Lower Rhine) region, near the border of Holland. At the Hotel Zur Brücke you can enjoy fine, delicious dishes from the country kitchen, while wine connoisseurs will appreciate the extensive wine list. The surrounding nature is ideal for bike tours, romantic wanderings and even canoeing on the Rhine, while the hotel itself offers tailored tours of the surrounding countryside.
This hotel is not a 5 starts porch place you would expect, however, the love, the energy, the care and the hearts of 6 generations which are being put into this place are to be felt and to be seen in each and every details of this building. To star with- the check in was very personal, time and effort in showing us around and escorting us to the room by answering all the queries - what a traditional hospitality! Rooms are old fashioned nice and clean with superb mattresses and very good shower! A separate grandiose compliment to the chef lady in the kitchen ! I do not remember eating such a delicious , prepared with passion and love , meals for ages! Very good quality of wines and products! Chapeau! I never book the same hotel twice but hotel zur Bruecke will be the exception for me!

Rooms are Ok , clean and spacious. The hotel brings you back in the 70;s. Very traditional. Staff was professional but not really friendly. Probably a bit depressed because of this whole covid hassle. Booked via booking.com. The pre-information was a bit disappointing. Most facilities, like the fitness, were closed. Would be nice if we knew in advance. The town of Kevelaer is nice but with a strong focus on old and religious people.

We ended up in Kevelaer by accident as we arrived late in Weeze airport after a flight delay and the best option was to get a taxi to the nearby town! I really liked the art nouveau building, so I didn't think twice!!! Helpful and kind staff, room was nice and clean, if I have to say a negative thing, a bit noisy in the night as people were in the Kapellenplatz cross the street speaking loudly and laughing, but that was not that bad to ruin the experience! I've learn from the staff of the hotel that Kevelaer is a pilgrimage place with more than a million pilgrims a year!!!!!! I like to visit sometime in the future just for the beauty of the town and I will stay in Goldenen Apfel again!
