Nestled in the picturesque town of Dharamshala, Eliot offers an experience that will remain etched in your hearts forever with a logo of the eagle and the mountains, the underlying theme remains the same - strength, courage and freedom. Renowned for its ethereal location in the midst of lush green forests with a clear view of the pristine Dhauladhar Ranges, a stay at Eliot is one of its kind. Wake up to a magnificent sunrise, swim in the expanse of our endless rooftop swimming pool, pamper yourself at the spa or head out for a short hike - all of this while relishing delectable food served fresh. Immerse yourself in an experience like no other away from the madness of the city to give yourself a much deserved rejuvenation.
I stayed here for 4 nights with my family. The staff is very cordial. The food is good and view from the pool/rooms is amazing. Special thanks to front desk staff who helped us with early check-in and arranging the triund trek. I guess it's one of th few resorts in dharamshala with pool. Recommended to stay here.

LAP OF HIMALAYAS It is strategically located on the embankment of a stream, with abundant greenery and stunning mountain views. The calm surroundings frequented by the flock of seagulls, burbling sound of water and blowing cool breeze makes it an excellent destination for stress busting. The hotel is just one kilometer from Dharamshala Airport, a walking distance from bus drop at Gaggal.
Money you pay doesn't justify what you will get. Dirty bedsheets, dirty bathing towels, one of towel was full of dirt, like room was cleaned using the same. Basic things like hand-towel was missing. TV operates with basic channels. Overall hygiene was way POOR. Food service was not great either, and i am talking about situation with very few guests, and still they couldn't hold strings together. I am really thinking how miserably it will be dealt with once peak season comes. Though airport is 1.4 km from hotel taxi is available for a rate of 600 INR. I paid 80% of what i paid for a ITC property in Mcleadganj which included better breakfast and buffet dinner as well, needless to mention about quality. I wouldn't have paid even half of what i paid, for what i got. MAIN CONCERN, - POOR HYGIENE

Angels inn Resort is one of the best hotel in Dharamshla. We have best swimming Pool in this area. Ample Parking. Door to door Modern Lift.A Conference room which can accommodate 200 pax.
The hotel is quite big and located at a quite place with some wonderful views. The night sky filled with stars was my favourite part of this hotel. The room was big but quite congested. The water was either scalding hot or ice cold, and I got hot water after keeping the tap running for at least 10 min leading to a loss of lots of water. The food is average. The worst part was that our room was located on the second floor and due to the weird floor naming here we had to pass through the terrace and climb up/down 10 steps every time we left the room. In our two days here the lift wasnt working twice which added more steps to our journey! The WiFi too was down. The hotel has a pool and a beautiful lobby but it should upgrade its infrastructure to make it more guest friendly.

Raja Ka Bagh, a boutique hotel on NH-20, near Pathankot is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas and is built on, once upon a time, the battle grounds of the Mughals. The hotel features stunning decor that exudes a classy ambiance. All rooms have a different theme and very artistically designed, The Restaurant 'FIRANGI DHABA' and bar-'RAJA KA BAR' offer a variety of food and beverages.
Me and my husband were traveling by road with our 1 month Old twin daughters from Amritsar to Dharamshala and wanted a place to halt and have food. Not only this hotel is a welcome surprise from the others in this area, but when we reached the restaurant and realised a room would be needed to feed the infants, the staff, management were very helpful in getting everything ready within minutes and made sure we were comfortable. Also, even though we would’ve paid for the entire day, the charged minimal room rent as we stayed only a couple of hours. Needless to say the aesthetics of room, hotel , cleanliness and food were great. But what stood out was the service of every single staff we met there. Kudos to the management to have achieved such a culture, sure to stay longer next time. Glad that it was the first hotel for my kids.

Stay at 'Clouds End Villa,' a sprawling 9 acre property with its own step field, gardens and forests. Cloud End was recommended in the Tatlers Travel guide 1993 as one of the 50 best hotels in the world.
The Cloud's End Villa is a gorgeous property which delivers on everything it promises to. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious room with a breathtaking view - of the mountains ahead of us and the gardens below. When it rains, you can watch the clouds waft by. The garden and terraces are great places to spot birds and insects and are safe enough to let young children run around. The cooks are exceptional and very accommodating of various palettes and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. We stayed here as part of a working break and the internet and general network connectivity was excellent so we managed to work uninterrupted. What makes this property special is that you can walk to cafes, the forest, do small treks and yet manage to stay away from the noise and chatter of the town. (We found it a bit challenging to locate as the map is not very accurate, so do call them for directions)

Located in the mountains of Himalaya, close to a lot of tourist sights like Dharamshala, McLeod Ganj, Kangra Fort, Brageswari Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Bir-Billing Paragliding Site, Baijnath Temple, Masroor Rock Cut Temple.
Hotel Kangra Roadway Inn is Kangra's favorite hotel, the food here is excellent, the Rooms are very well designed, Jaguar bath fittings have been done in the bathroom of every room, I can't express it in words. Must stay here once and experience it.

Stayed here on the way while moving from Vaishnodevi to Delhi. I decided to stay here after reading the reviews of other travelers. My decision was not wrong. Property was big with good parking facility. Every thing was well maintained as per the expectation. clean room with bigger space. Food was very nice and tasty. if you are going to himachal and want to relax on highway this hotel is best. Only one suggestion what i want to give is staff at reception must be professional with smiling faces.

First of all don't called this place "Hotel" I don't know who has given 5* ratings on trip advisor. The place is horrible, no support at all of management. Rooms filled with mosquitoes, cigrate flakes in bathroom, uncovered windows, loose & hanging electrical socket. Don't go to this place. No hot water in early morning & air heater in night. Breakfast and dinner were not served on time. Only 1* for providing 4 walls & luggage security. Hope they will improve in future.
