Good place to stay for a large group
Reviewed By Ievucis20We stayed here in August 2019, 13 people all together (adults + kids). Good location as it is close to the city Kandava but far enough to feel the countryside vibes. House is well maintained, clean, spacious. There is a good sauna and hot tub outside. Just near the house is a great spot (on a small hill) to observe the sunset. Out only complaints were that we have to pay extra for towels (not included in price). Otherwise all was good. The owner was helpful.

Mixed feelings
Reviewed By RexyRooWe stayed in the family flat for 2 nights. Lovely decor, but booked for 4 people and there was only enough beefing for three. No worries, we’d sort it out when we went for dinner. However the kitchen was closed at 1930 despite the advertised time of 2000. This is an issue in Kandava where there isn’t any other real option for dinner. I was on a downer about the place. Breakfast next morning was good with bacon and fried eggs, after a fashion. I started liking the place again, so we went for dinner that night (at 1730 to make sure!). Dinner was good. Breakfast the second morning was a much more meagre affair and only barely adequate. The girl who appears to do all of the work is run off her feet and she is efficient, but it wouldn’t harm her to crack a smile once in a while. If I were in the area again, I’d stay in Sabiles.

GRAZIOSO BAR RISTORANTE CON ARIA CONDIZIONATA
Reviewed By claudio gIn una giornata caldissima ed assolata, nel nostro viaggio verso Riga, ci siamo fermati e rinfrescati in questo bel bar con aria condizionata, situato nel centro storico di Kandava. E' una caffetteria con terrazza estiva. Ma, visto il caldo, siamo rimasti dentro, al fresco. Atmosfera sofisticata ed accogliente. Preso due bibite ghiacciate e prezzo modico, tipo schweppes. E' anche ristorante e albergo. Si trova nel centro storico di Kandava, che abbiamo visitato frettolosamente.
