Perfect location, friendly host, great price. Unfortunately that's the end of the good stuff. Room is tired, needs renovation. There is no aircon so you have to try and sleep with a fan on which is so noisy its like being on a transatlantic flight in a Sopwith Camel. The mattress is an instrument of torture, we had the two worse nights sleep for a very long time, general cleanliness is poor, lighting is awful and in some cases broken. To top it off the toilet wouldn't flush so I spent two days with a bucket of water topping up the tank. I really don't understand where all the rave reviews come from. Would I stay again, unfortunately not. When I mentioned the place to a local, he said "was the bed awful" I think that says it all!

Everything we needed to be self catering was available to us. The views from the house were amazing down into the valley. The balcony was perfect for morning yoga and a cuppa - or to just watch the village go about its everyday life. The shower was sensational! The bedding was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a very high level of cleanliness. Shops and restaurants are easily reached within a few minutes by foot. Parking is on the roadside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We loved the accommodation and the village itself has so much to offer - Venetian bridges, watermills especially Kykkos watermill, chapels and the Lampadistis monastery which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Maro, the owner, met us and very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and adequate kitchenette. Also a lovely patio area to sit and have breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening before venturing out. Quite a few restaurants and tavernas and a wine bar opposite the glass lift (€1 return to go up and down the village). We had a lovely birthday meal at the Casale Panayiotis Hotel & Spa. Lots to see around the village - we will definitely be back.

Located at kali Panayiotis, near the beautiful old monastery. We ordered coffees and they were just ok. The place is relaxing and charming within traditional houses. Thea revive was ok too. We paid around 10 eur for two coffees.

Very poor behavior from the owner.. there is an extra charge of €10 for the use of the woodstove ?!? which is not mentioned anywhere.. and when we left (1day earlier because of their behavior) they asked to get paid for our staying which we already prepaid.. Never Again!!!
