She is an amazing organizer and her staff was friendly and helpful during the event. The salon arrangements and setup were picture perfect and all the accommodations were well organized. Reviewed By Katherine PWe have been staying at CMI for nearly 2 weeks while one of our family has played sport in the area. It has been excellent. Clean. Tidy. Great facilities. Easy parking. Polite staff. Laundry. Pool . Gym. Due to COVID house keeping has been reduced but we just asked each day to have our towels changed and bins emptied. Every few days they did a full clean. This was an excellent choice of hotel for us . Even the price was reasonable. We loved the access to whole foods , Starbucks and the spectrum centre. We rerun in a month to the USA - this will be our choice of hotel in the OC.

Very Disappointed
Reviewed By C9855WGshirleypMy husband and I stayed at Sonesta Irvine from May 4th to May 7th. We came into town to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. We booked over the phone and received a discounted rate (which we are grateful for) and were told because we had at a graduate we would receive free parking (which didn't happen), but I digress. Upon arrival, they said there would be no room service for COVID-19 reasons; however, there was no mask mandate/COVID -19 protocol, so it seems like they were trying to do less work. I know that many hotels do this, but I expected room service because it's a higher-scale hotel. My first grievance is that our room did not have a functional AC. Multiple repairers/HVAC techs came by our room and did not solve the problem. We were not offered another room, which made our stay very uncomfortable. Secondly, I was stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes, and when I was let out, I was not offered an apology or anything for my experience (they later stated it was the dust from the remodel). Thirdly, they had no late check-out option, which was not told to us when we booked our room. Lastly, and most importantly, after we checked out, I called the hotel directly to talk about our experience and was connected to someone named Anthony; and they told me that they would connect me with Bill and call us back. Unfortunately, we never received a callback after waiting over a week, and another attempt of over 15 minutes hold time I was left with not reply; which is disrespectful. That is why I chose to write this review in hopes that others will see this and make other arrangements that are more acceptable.. Overall, it was a negative experience, and my family and I will never stay here again.

My experience at Embassy Suites

Etc) The lobby and Star Bucks are the best part of the property. The hallway carpet is faded and old. The rooms are dark and appear they were furnished about 10 years ago. They are clean and the bathrooms are good size. Just old. There is no maid service unless you request by 8 am. I called at 8:30 and was denied. I requested they clean the rest of the days. The next day someone went into my room and left the door ajar. It was unlocked on open. I left early that day and shook the door to make sure it was closed. I travel a lot and always do that. I was stupid and went into the room. Everything was fine and untouched. Also no maid service. My thought is maid went in and left. Never came back. I had a very angry chat with the front desk clerk. She replaced my towels and such. Told me the main manager would call me in the am. Still waiting for the call. They did try and clean my room the next day. I guess that is a plus. Basicly don’t hold ur breath for great service. Also they filled the hot tub in with cement instead of fixing it. Front desk clerk told me that. It’s a indoor pool. So just avoid. Something good is the omelette station. Breakfast if good. Location is 8 min from airport and very easy to get to. I tried to use shuttle to airport. I needed to be at airport by 5:30. Shuttle starts at 6 am. For me. It’s a no return property. Hopefully if you choose you have a better experience.

Reviewed By 8nabryIt was so bad, I want to give it a 0 but that’s not possible so I give it a 1. The only reason I decided to make a reservation at this hotel was because customer service said that they’d be able to give me a room at 8am. They guaranteed it! Once I arrived they had no rooms available, and I called every 30 minutes from 8am to see if they had a room available. I took short naps in my car while I waited since I was exhausted from my trip. They didn’t have a room ready till 2pm but it was on a “first come first serve” basis even though I had a reservation. Most of the people at front desk were rude. They charged me more than what they said on the phone but at that point I was just exhausted and payed it. The room itself is nice but the whole process in getting a room is unnecessarily complicated and difficult. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
