Stayed for two nights. Wish it was for longer. Immaculate bathroom. Lovely shower with hot water and underfloor heating. Looked like it had been newly refurbished. Big room. Lovely veranda. My dog was accepted with no trouble. Fabulous breakfast. Lovely dining room. Had a good tofu dinner. Lovely pool and sauna - be prepared to go naked in sauna. Plenty of parking. Fabulous walks and lovely town. Didn’t want to leave this amazing hotel and location.

Spent 5 days at this hotel and the experience regarding the accommodation and breakfast was disappointing. For over hundred euro/night got a room at the house attic where to get in the bed or at toilet was necessary to be very careful not to hit with the head a ceiling protection wood made. The most upsetting fact was that even I asked the day after the arrival the room to be changed because at my 185 cm height is hard on the night not to hurt the head, got no understanding and no change was offered. Beware the room 22. Another bad issue is the breakfast which is poor and is not varied. My room as probably is the rule in the hotel had no refrigerator. The good parts of this propriety are that the room was very clean, the politeness and kindness of the stuff and the restaurant food in the evening. It looks like locals and tourist from the close area are attracted by the food quality offered in the restaurant.

The fresh trout in the tank outside had me convinced this was a local place. Fabulous local cuisine served in a traditional environment. Stammtisch table for the locals! Excellent waitstaff tried their best with our terrible German and good meals followed. Great alt bayerische dunkel beer too!

Centrally located in the health resort of Inzell in the German Alps, this 2-star hotel features traditional Bavarian furnishings, regional cuisine and its own in-house patisserie with café. The Hotel Gasthaus Café Bavaria provides brightly painted Alpine-style rooms with wooden furniture. Most rooms feature a balcony offering an impressive panoramic view of the beautiful surroundings. Treat yourself to a selection of Bavarian specialities, health-conscious dishes or homemade pastries in the hotel restaurant or in the rustic-style lounge. Enjoy these on the terrace in summer. The Hotel Bavaria is just a 2-minute walk from Inzell town centre, the spa gardens, an open air swimming pool and the ice-stadium. The hotel is also close to several hiking paths and cross-country skiing trails. Guests staying at Hotel Bavaria can park for free on site.
We stopped for a quick lunch and had ham and cheese sandwiches with a glass of wine and some water. The service was reasonable without being noticeably friendly and the sandwiches were OK but wouldn't rush back. They couldn't or wouldn't take payment by card.

The house is well located. Not so far from city centre. There is small bakery in the house and swimmingpoll is nearby. Parking is close and big. No problem to find free place. Disadvantages: Cleanness should be improved - shelf was so dusty so it´s hard to beleive it was cleaned this year. Cookware was quite dirty so. I booked appartmens, but I received room with extremly small kitchenette hidden it the cupboard. The reception is open until 6 p.m., if you come later, you have to go to reception next day. They open at 9 a.m. So forget to long whole day trip :-( Wi-fi signal was weak. Bathroom - great catastrophe, need general reconstruction. Shower was broken, I had to use shower in second room.

I will try to enumerate point by point and i hope not to miss something: - the location is from a fairytale: green grass (in april), a little river in front, birds singing around, quite, fresh air, country smell. Very easily accessible by car, which in germany appears to be "business as usual" :) - the pension: if you like the bavarian style, you will feel great here. Every little corner has been subject to a careful decoration and anytime you pass by it you notice something new. You will anyway get in love with it. At the first floor there is a lecture room and the breakfast one. At the first floor there is a small kitchen where you have a fridge and coffee and tea facilities anytime you want. - the room: ours was at the last floor and contained a small corridor + a room with shower and wc + another one with sink, big wardrobe and a bench + the bedroom with a big comfortable double bed, an armchair, a tv, a table + a big balcony with a balansoar and a table with chairs looking to the green valeys, mountains and small river in front. We had everything we needed (including facial tissues, pads, hair dryer etc), clean and very comfortable. The weather was chilly but in the room was very pleasant. - the breakfast: it was simple, not a lot of diversity, but enough. Juice, some cheese, some meat, bread, cereals and jams and eggs if you ask for. Personally i would've like more cheese variety (as i don't eat meat, bred or sweets :)) - the owner: she is very nice, helpful and wants to make you feel welcomed at any moment The price is quite reasonable at ~50 euros / night / room (+ the resort fee) usimg booking.com; even if we've seen some pensions with ~40 euros, we would make the same choice over and over again. In those money we received Inzell cards but we did not have time to use them, being all time away in salzburg, obersalzburg, munich etc. The only negative thing was that the towels had an old and unpleasant smell, as if they were not properly dried.

Review: We stayed in the Inzellerhof with our whole family from 20 to 27 December 2015. We have been in Inzell multiple times, from 1995 and we can say we have some experience with different guest houses and restaurants in the town. The hospitality, kindness of the staff and especially the cooking skills of Herr Maier pleasantly surprised us. We truly belief he is the best cook in town! So even if you do not stay in the Inzellerhof please check out the lovely little restaurant and enjoy the food and excellent service. The beds in the accommodation were good, the rooms are cozy and cleaned every day by the staff. The place is located centrally in Inzell. A bakery is located around the corner, just as the swimming and sauna facility in Inzell. The Inzell card that is included in the staying allows you to enjoy diverse sights/activities in the surrounding for free. We really enjoyed our stay and even without snow in December we had a wonderful time in the Inzellerhof. We will definitely come back in the future.

The Alpenliebe Design Hotel offers breakfast to full board, basic to luxury rooms, all with free Wi-Fi. You live in the center of Inzell in the heart of the Bavarian Alps.
An amazing hotel that takes exceptional care of their customers. Rooms are spacious, well lit and comfortable. There was a sitting room where my wife and I sat and talked all night long. The beds... 5 STAR! Most comfortable bed I have slept on in Germany. Terrific dinner each night that was 3 course and prepared by a professional chef. Supreme food that Marnix took the time out to see our tastes. Breakfast was hot each day and drink coffee until your hearts wanted no more. The shower was awesome with a rain head and stones in the walls. The whole time I felt far away from it all even though the hotel is in the middle of town, close to everything. The host is knowledgeable and eager to please. He speaks English, Russian, Dutch, German, Bavarian and some Korean, So don’t be worried he won’t understand. Simply the most revived I have felt on a vacation. We will be back again. Servus! Cheers

Staid here with my wife and with friends in the middle of August 2015. The hotel was chosen because it got good reviews either on booking.com and tripadvisor web pages. The house itself looks nice, as a traditional Bavarian guest-house, located a little bit aside of the center of Inzell. General environment is ok, Edeka supermarket is nearby, all directions are easily accessible. Parking is free of charge and it is easily enough space for 10+ cars. The room was big but a little bit chaotically organized and not perfectly clean, I would estimate the housekeeper could be more accurate and attentive. The bathroom is ok even if a bit too dark. Wi-fi connection in the room was not always stable, at the breakfast room was better. The breakfast itself could be considered as a minor point of the hotels because the choices were too low, I have a lot of experience with Bavarian guest-houses and could consider this breakfast on the lower level comparing to others, just to give you impression – imagine the average 2-3 star hotel breakfast and you will understand what I am talking about. If you have ever been to small family-run hotels in Germany you will understand what I am talking about. Behind the hotel you could find small playground for children. The owner was enough friendly (but not really wholeheartedly welcoming as it happens sometimes is such kind of guest houses when you start to feel yourself at home) but anyway he gave good ideas of what to do and to see nearby. Sazburg is very close and easily accessible by car (something like 30 min.). Konigssee is not so far also.
