Suite facilities, Beer Bath and Brilliant Massage!
Reviewed By r90beccaWe booked the suite for 3 nights, it is huge and with great facilities (2 saunas and a hot tub!), we LOVED the beer bath and would recommend everyone to try it if in the area. We also ate at the hotel every day (for 2 nights we had dinner included), the restaurant food is great quality, breakfast was basic but fine. We booked full body massages which were AMAZING, the service all round was super, nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was the flies - I think it would be good to provide fly spray in the rooms (we couldn’t open the windows at night as the flies would come in), and they could add some fly trap lights or similar in the restaurant to help with the problem. This didn’t affect our stay too much though, we still had the best weekend!

Lovely terrace for lunch
Reviewed By KzrooBig terrace with mountain views - a lovely setting for lunch in the sun. Very local style. Good menu with local and pasta choices. Plenty of cheese across many of the dishes. Friendly service. A good find.

The hotel is nestled in the midst of the fascinating Alpine surroundings of the Hasli Valley of the Bernese Oberland and offers a welcoming atmosphere and comfortably outfitted rooms with showers, bathrooms, and satellite television. In the evenings you are welcome to join us in our Restaurant to bid the day farewell in the company of first class wines and cuisine.
3 night stay while touring Switzerland
Reviewed By Gary GStayed 3 nights while I toured the Swiss Alps on my motorbike alone.. very friendly staff. Excellent food and beer.. very clean and spacious room with immaculate separate shower/ sauna area..i would highly recommend a stay here either the owner is very welcoming..

Welcome at "ufem Egg" Apartments! Our holiday home with 3 new created lovingly equipped vacation apartments and 4 cozy double rooms is situated in Wyler above Innertkirchen and is therefore the ideal starting point for excursions of all types. The quiet and sunny location right next to the forest offers a stunning view on the impressive mountains of the Haslital. A large garden with sunbathing lawn as well as a seating and barbecue area invites to linger. Our playground with trampoline, swing, slide and soccer field for children.
Excellent host and stunning location
Reviewed By mysteryptWe came with the whole family of 8 adults and 5 children for 2 nights stay. The reservation was made in booking.com but one double room was not available for a night, as the booking did not happen properly. Daniel, the host, said it happens for last minute bookings and the sync didn't take place properly. Even though the booking site confirmed the rooms, please make sure to check directly with the apartment if the reservation was successful. Daniel is a simple person and really helpful and made the necessary arrangements to accomodate us all. He is living in the same place, so available any time. Apartment with Mountain view has 2 rooms with double bed and 4 bunk beds and one double sofa bed. We tried to adjust in this apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, but microwave oven was missing. Other than that the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The view from the rooms and outside towards the Haslital mountains is just spectacular. They have few grill places around. We did a barbequeue one night. Firewood was provided. For kids there is a trampoline, swing, slide and a small football ground. At the lobby you have a free coffee machine. Daniel, thanks for the stay, we will be visiting soon again.

Amazing landscapes around!
Reviewed By Shimnik(+) Panorama Hotel Wagenkehr is located in the quiet beautiful place in Bernese Alps. It is a few kilometers away from Hopflauenen. The property is owned by a tough Swiss couple :) The owner likes Swiss wrestling schwingen and his wife used to live for 7 years in the Netherlands and speaks Dutch. The hotel has a restaurant, where you can try deer and chamois meat. Our room was simple but clean with a comfy bed. You will understand, why the hotel is called "Panorama", when you leave it in the morning... There is a amazing hiking area, if you drive towards Engstlenalp. It is located on the border between Bern, Obwalden and Nidwalden. We had a nice hike to Melchsee-Frutt. (-) Two days before our arrival I got a message that the hotel is overbooked and it would be nice, if we find another place to stay. I explained that it would be difficult to find a similar place for the same price. I got an answer a few hours later that the problem is solved and they have a room for us. I think, we slept in the owners' kids room. Parking costs 8CHF but it is written in the booking. Toilet and shower are outside of the room (a floor down).

Kitsch!
Reviewed By R1LdyWhilst I agree with the comments around needing a lot of updating and squeaky floorboards, it was good enough for an overnighter during a European bike tour. It’s fantastically placed for Sustan & Grimsel passes ??. Not a fan of shared bathrooms but it was clean and adequate and at least there were separate male and female toilets. The young girl hosting didn’t speak a lot of English but we got by, particularly when I needed the loan of a hairdryer ?. Breakfast was typically continental and fresh. Overall good enough as a one off.

Good restaurant and friendly service
Reviewed By kathinatedWe arrived on a Sunday too early for service but they opened the kitchens and fed us anyway. Food was a good portion size and tasty. Staff were lovely. Parking in a car park between the two buildings that make up the hotel.
