Reviewed By sferguson2022The hotel is dirty, smelly, the floors are sticky, basic accomodations were not provided, phone was broken, tv remote not programmed, and the staff didn't apologize for anything. We will never use this hotel again.

Reviewed By zesab2021I'm only giving a 5 star review because Robin made it right! We reserved a king size bed room and the guy said they don't have one even though we booked it months in advance. We settled for a small bed and the next day Robin was here and I told what happened. She gave me the room we originally booked a a complimentary box of goodies. She apologized for how we were treated. I would've gone somewhere else had it not been for her amazing customer service!

East to find, close to pretty much everything in Huntsville, more than adequate lighted parking. The grounds were mowed and the property looked taken care of. Friendly front desk staff checked us in quickly and we were in our room within 10 minutes of arrival. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we had plenty of towels. We ate a hot breakfast every morning downstairs in a large clean area. There was hot and cold options as well coffee, juices and milk (no complaints). Electronic check out made the departure from the hotel about as easy as possible. If I’m in this area of Texas again, I would definitely stay here.

Terrible...Asked for Refund

Unfortunately, they were open when it should have been shutdown for some much needed overhaul. The room was dirty and smelly. I went in and out..and I do mean in and out in seconds and could smell the stink of pet odors on me and prayed that it was not in my hair as well. Upon returning to the hotel, I had talk myself into a turnaround back to Houston. I could not stay in a dump like that. Something seriously wrong with this place. Everything dirty, including the grounds. Don't know what, but did not stay around to find out. Thankful they refunded my money.

A brilliant surprise!

I had to look for a complaint to put in this review – I did not have a Do Not Disturb sign in my room. Yup, that’s it. When I arrived, the Front Desk was well staffed with smiling faces, I was thanked for my patronage with Marriott, and check in was quick and pleasant. My room was exceptionally clean, the bathroom was stocked and set up with a new shower curtain and fluffy new towels, the bed was soft, clean, and made up with what appeared to be new sheets. On the desk was a basket of snacks and water, along with a HAND WRITTEN “thank you for your patronage” note (I am Ambassador level). Folks, this was an EFFORT! This establishment no longer welcomes you with a dirty welcome mat at the front door, they welcome you with an open-armed hug. Sylvia is amazing! But the real clincher was the next morning at breakfast. The food was fresh, hot and plentiful. More importantly, the guests were pleasant with one another, and everyone cheerfully waited their turn at the food bar. This is a sign of well cared for and well-rested guests – no grumpies in the room at all!! I earned my status with Marriott by staying lots (LOTS) of nights, and this was the happiest crowd I have seen outside of Disney; thank you! Thank you for such great care, thank you for making Marriott look good, and thank you for giving me and my fellow Marriott members a reason to keep making Marriott our first choice every time.

The windows was up in the hall way for the staff cause it was hot. The hot water do not get hot. The tub is nasty had hair every where. Odor bad. The tiolet took five times to flush They don’t give you enough towels. The front desk is a Asian women. Mean very rude. Did want to give extra towels. The staff look nasty and like he just got off prison. The ladies who clean the rooms. Very rude. And they don’t clean your room. Very spooky. Don’t stay here look at the pictures run need updating. The suites have holes in the couches. Don’t sit on the couch they stinky and nasty. My first room was dripping water all over the carpet from the air condition I had to move. And it was worst. Don’t take here. Please.
