Centrally located in the imperial capital, our hotel provides guests to Hue with an extraordinary place for both private stay and public events by blending feudal architecture and expressive decor harmoniously together.
We booked last minute for our honeymoon. We emailed and got a fast response and a generous offer to upgrade for our honeymoon to the Delux room. Apon arrival we were very impressed with the design and quality of the building. Our room was small but very beautiful. Bed was very hard. And bathroom small but overall lovely. We were greeted with a rose petals on the bed and a beautiful cake saying happy honeymoon. The hotel is in a lovely location and close to river and everything you need. Sadly we weren’t informed of a party being held at the hotel that evening so we were woken by loud music and loud guests. We complained of the noise and reception were very fast to offer us the junior suit on another side of the hotel. Which we gladly accepted. The end is still very hard in this room but the room is absolutely breathtaking stunning. Amazing tiles, furnishings, view. The bathroom is so high end and beautiful. We stayed in the junior suite for 2 nights while touring Hue. Buffet breakfast had a huge variety of fresh hot and cold meals to choose from. The day spa is very pretty. It was however a tad warm with no air con. My husband enjoyed his massage. I had a hair treatment which was ok. I don’t think the staff are quite used to blonde curly hair, so my hair ended up very knotty which I had to comb myself. The poor girl couldn’t comb my hair without snapping it. I also had a foot massage and highly enjoyed it. Overall we loved our experience here. The staff were lovely and the building itself it honestly 7 stars elegant. If you visit I do recommend viewing the hotel opposite the Azerai. It has a lovely grounds Ana gardens for cocktails and we preferred their drinks their. We would 100% staying in this hotel for a luxurious experience.

Our hotel is situated on the bank of the tranquil and picturesque Nhu Y River, embedded in the background of the legendary Thon Vy village well noted in our national poetry for its charming rural landscape. From the hotel’s windows here you may admire the fishersmen’s activity and even hear the soft, curious clacking sound they make trying to frighten the fish into their nets.
Down an alley to the river lies a lovely quiet suite of rooms for a comfortable base from which to explore Hue. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They surprised our daughter with a lovely cake on her birthday. Great value for a relaxing place and just a short walk from bars and restaurants.

Set on a two and a half-hectare site with 200 metres of frontage on the fabled Perfume River, Azerai La Residence, Hue has 122 rooms & suites. The colonial mansion at the heart of the resort was built in 1930s as part of the residence of the French Resident Superieure. The mansion’s distinctive façade, its long horizonal lines and nautical flourishes are hallmark of the streamline moderne school of art deco architecture. Its two complementary wings, built in 2005, are contemporary in design yet echo elements of art deco aesthetics and embrace an expansive tropical garden and salt-water swimming pool.
We arrived on Good Friday for 3 nights. We had organised to be picked up from Da Nang airport and had a super comfortable transfer in a huge air conditioned car with chilled water and cold towels. We travelled the mountain route which was stunning. The hotel itself is in a beautifully restored colonial building with lovely gardens next to the river. From the moment we arrived the staff were absolutely delightful and welcoming. Our room looked over the garden to the river and had a lovely balcony. Our room rate included afternoon tea which was delicious and was served wherever we wanted. There was a nice selection at breakfast including local specialities. The lady on reception organised a driver and guide to the main UNESCO sites at a very reasonable cost. We were surprised that there were still so few tourists as restrictions had only been lifted a few weeks before. We loved the city and the surrounding area and the hotel made it a perfect trip. A big thank you to all the staff who made it such a wonderful stay. We have travelled quite a bit but the staff here are the nicest we have had anywhere.
