Sarah the hostess was so welcoming and friendly right from the time we arrived. Everything was excellent. House spotlessly clean. Room was huge with two proper armchairs, TV, fridge and lots of space in the room. Full bathroom with toilet, hand basin, bidet and bath and a separate shower. Wifi spot on. Breakfast was amazing. Fried Welsh breakfast was not greasy or oily as some can be. Apart from the main course, there were cereals, fruit, yogurt, unlimited tea and coffee, juices, croissants - everything!! And the homemade cake every evening in our rooms when we returned from our travels - wonderful!! The location is excellent. So quiet and peaceful. The sheep and the chickens and the farm dogs are so cute. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. I cannot recommend this B & B highly enough. My girlfriend has already recommended it to a couple of her friends and I will be doing the same. Thanks so much Sarah, if in the area again, we will not hesitate in staying with you again.

We're a unique, small hotel nestled in the heart of Wales. Whether you're visiting the Royal Welsh Showground, doing business in Llandrindod Wells, or getting active walking, cycling, mountain biking or kayaking through some of Wales' finest countryside, Three Wells is your perfect base.
A lovely quiet setting in mid Wales but sadly very over priced. Room- adequate but nothing special especially as we were paying for a suite. No mention prior to arrival that housekeeping was minimal. Perhaps it would have been better for the owner to have cancelled the booking as we felt uncomfortable being the only guests in a 17 room b&b. We understand COVID being in our late 60's but not the lack of service or attention to detail. Breakfast was good each morning but no offer of more tea or toast, the owner just disappered. Heating is controlled centrally so at times we were freezing despite having raised the issue. On leaving the owner admitted he should have given us prior warning, but by now too late. I think a good gesture would have been to offer some refund but alas this didn't happen. Would we stay again or recommend, sadly unless the 'hotel' and owners up their game, then a big NO. 4* hotels that we have stayed in change less and offer a better overall experience. We choose because of previous reviews and location.

Brynhir Farm is an ancient character filled luxury farmhouse where a relaxed and friendly atmosphere greets you. Completely secluded in its own mountain valley, the farm offers unique feeling of peace and quiet for guests and walkers at all times.
Highly recommend to stay in Brynhir farm cottage. With a pictursque view surrounding the cottage, the hosts were amazingly kind and generous. Breakfast was luxurious served with so much compassion and hospitality like as if we belonged there. Neat and clean lounges and bathrooms, very spacious, it was an experience in itself. We are definitely going back again.

Had I lovely time at Holly Farm recently with friends. We wanted to get away from the city and we felt very welcome and relaxed. Ruth was a fantastic cook and knew all the good things to do in the area. Cottage is situated away from the road so was a very peaceful stay, with some nice country walks easily accessible in the area. Even managed to relax in the hot tub and do some star gazing. Thank you for having us Ruth and Mervyn!

We stayed here for three nights for my husband’s 60th,such a relaxing and tranquil place,my husband enjoyed looking in the quarry for trilobites which he wasn’t disappointed with(the main purpose of our trip). The hut was really nicely done and was as it was describe,we were really impressed by the facilities it was lovely and warm with the underfloor heating, with everything you could need supplied. We spotted loads of wildlife(not just the sheep ?) rabbits, hares, numerous types of birds, kites and even spotted a stoat/weasel. Very peaceful place to visit
