Great staff… friendly & helpful. Accomplished the request of our stay. We loved the hotel - safe off street parking & well lit. The hotel was clean - breakfast staff great even amongst rude patrons who thought they own the world. I could have beaten the parents of the brats above us who jumped on the bed & ran across the room from 8-11 pm & probably should have knocked on their door but you never know these days & if they hadn’t already controlled them saying something would not really help. Great pool on property! Again GREAT Hotel GReaT STAFF Rude people on the holiday weekend- people are classless at times.

The room was very clean and fresh. The breakfast was fresh and hot. Peggy the hostess at the breakfast area was so kind, sweet and accommodating. She checked on us multiple times. Peggy went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Marriott is lucky to have Peggy as an employee!

Charged over $200 for a room that was dirty when we checked in, had to be cleaned, sheets were still stained. Did not have towels or anything in the room. Scratches and torn leather on the headboard. Awful

I'm trying to remember what this hotel was called the last time I stayed there, approximately 10 years ago. As the Hotel Hot Springs, it would likely get 5 stars from me except for two things. I'd give it 3.5 if that were an option. The good stuff: nice, clean, spacious modern room with a great view of Hot Springs and the mountain. Nice wood laminate floors, a concept I like in hotels since I'll wager they're a lot easier to clean than carpet. At least in my room, the old school binder with the list of hotel services and surrounding attractions. Nice touch to have a Keurig in my room, though I did have some trouble making it work as well as the one I have at home. Here's why I give them less than a 5: Pitifully slow elevator service. So slow that there is usually at least a crowd of 10-12 people waiting. When an elevator finally does arrive, everyone crowds on. So much for the social distancing idea. Second "minus": As others have noted, their parking garage is in the next block. I was there on a weekend and was told by the desk clerk that the Regions bank across the street allows free parking. Problem is, they only have about 20 spaces. I came back late at night, and was able to snare one of the five spaces the hotel has at ground level around the corner on Church Street, but the city street light that would have illuminated it was not working...scary. (Bad street lighting is an issue in much of Hot Springs.) It's a nicely renovated property, but frankly if I were to come back to stay in downtown Hot Springs, I would look for a hotel that has a better parking situation and better functioning elevators.

The hotel is attached to the Hot Springs convention center. On Thursday night (May 2022) there was a high school graduation held at the convention center next door & one person was killed & 3 were injured. Although this is NO FAULT of the hotel, the area the hotel is in is very sketchy. The rooms and overall facility are due for an update/upgrade. The front desk clerk who checked me in, put me in the room furthest from the elevator & directly above the heating & air conditioning units on the 2nd floor. (with Diamond Status & preference that I'm close to the elevator). There was no room service so ran out of clean towels & toilet paper/ coffee / etc. The wait to reach the front desk could take 15-30 minutes. Very short staffed. The bonus was being attached to the convention center so you could walk across the bridge without having to deal with AR heat.

This majestic icon is perfectly located in Hot Springs National Park on beautiful Bathhouse Row. Since 1925 visitors have traveled to Hot Springs to stay, play and rejuvenate in the healing mineral waters of the natural thermal springs. Step back in time walking in the footsteps of such famous legends as Babe Ruth, Al Capone, Rudolph Valentino, Jack Dempsey, Lucky Luciano, Joe DiMaggio, Will Rogers, Johnny Cash, Marilyn Monroe and Presidents: John F. Kennedy, Theodore Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton. Feel the romance and charm of this culturally historic place. Experience a traditional bath at The Arlington Bathhouse or simply step outside to enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment at the Ohio Club, the Pancake Shop, Gangster Museum, Superior Bathhouse Brewery or take a cupcake break at Fat Bottom Girls. If nature calls, hike or bike miles of scenic trails in our first National Park or try your luck digging for diamonds or playing the ponies or slots at Oaklawn Casino.
I absolutely enjoyed my experience at this hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. The entire hotel was very historic and featured most of the natural architecture from its original building. Even the medicine cabinets, the sink, and even the doors of the room were very historic and seemed original. It really felt like a step back into time. However, I would not recommend this hotel for a long-term stay but for one or two nights it is a very enjoyable historic experience. Nowadays, the rooms are relatively small. And the thermostat cannot be controlled from the room. However, back in the day it must’ve been a extremely grand and luxurious hotel. We were lucky enough to stay on the fourth floor and got to see Al Capone‘s room. Back in the day he rented out the entire fourth floor for his bodyguards. The pool is two levels and is on the seventh floor which I found to be very unique. Also, a hot tub is also found on the seventh floor. The hotel is located right downtown and is within walking distance of almost everything you could want to see in Hot Springs. Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone staying at Hot Springs and I found it to be the best part of Hot Springs! I think a stay at the Arlington is mandatory for anyone who loves history!

The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were exhausted and ready for a nap when we arrived . We were able to rest up and go out again . It is a short drive to downtown area and close to the medical area there. They do provide a breakfast with different options.
