Founded by Dutch Calvinists in 1847, the city of Holland, Michigan, is an outpost of Dutch culture and tradition in the midst of the American Midwest, home to dikes, canals and even an authentic Dutch windmill. Proud of its heritage, the city purchased 100,000 tulip bulbs from the Netherlands back in 1927, and these colorful flowers still fill the city's gardens and parks with color annually, just in time for the famous Tulip Time Festival, attended by over half a million people every year.

We really have the best of both worlds here at the Haworth Hotel. Holland, Michigan voted the second-happiest place to live in America, embraces small-town charm while offering the progressive nature of a big city. The community is welcoming and engaging, and there’s always something to do! Our ties to Hope College bring us to the next level, offering guests a new realm of possibilities. Academic conferences are eagerly welcomed and supported by the campus community.
Beautiful hotel and exceptional staff in a perfect location downtown Holland. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and felt taken care of during our stay by all the staff. The little “extras,” including the signed welcome note in our hotel room and courtesy call to make sure we didn’t need anything once we got in the room, made us feel special and in good hands. The common areas and rooms are well designed and clean - feels like you’re at a special “boutique” hotel. We also loved being able to walk to dinner and shopping. Thankful to have learned about the Stash Hotel Rewards program when I made our reservation. Really like being to support local, independent hotels.

This is truly one of the nicest Hampton Inns in the Country. They recently remodeled the entire Hotel. The rooms are great, mattresses are excellent, furniture is very nice and the bathroom is very nice. The shower is excellent. This is in fact the only Hampton Inn that has a Bar, full service restaurant, huge game room and an extremely nice indoor pool. As a Diamond Level Hilton Member I highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

This hotel in downtown Holland was spotless in every aspect of the hotel from the room, to the pool to the bistro, etc. etc. The open shower was a dream to be in. The bed was so so comfortable. We enjoyed our two night stay. The Bistro was fabulous for drinks and the atmosphere relaxing. This hotel is located close to downtown and you can walk any where there in a matter of minutes. Rosie at the front desk gave us good tips for dining and excursions.

Amazing experience when we had to stay here unexpectedly, in our way back home to Chicago. We hit a deer late Sunday evening, and from check-in to check-out it was top notch! The front desk staff, I cannot remember their names, were amazing! The staff went above, and beyond to meet our needs! Rooms were spotless, as were the common areas! We highly recommend, and will stay at Home 2 Suites by Hilton again, when we vacation!

One block from Riverview Park and several restaurants, our LEED Gold Certified hotel is in the heart of downtown Holland. Hope College is less than half a mile away. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors at nearby Windmill Island Gardens, just five minutes away. Each of our rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows for great views.
Water pressure was low. The kitchen is limited. They are understaffed. The fan cannot be adjusted in the room- (you have to deal with the front desk). There was no radio. Rates a bit pricey. Otw our stay was good.

Reasonable price considering it was Tulip Festival. It may not be the newest hotel, and it’s somewhat dated…but there were some definite good points. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. (Most important!) Good shower pressure. The pool area looked nice, although we didn’t use it. The breakfast was great! So many choices including hot scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. There was a oatmeal bar, numerous yogurts (including almond milk style). You name it and they had it…even cheesecake. Serious breakfast at this Best Western Plus.
