Helka is close to almost everything Helsinki has to offer: main attractions, city buzz, culture, parks and calming waterside nature. For us, it’s all about you. We are passionate about customer service and making you happy is always our first priority – wherever you come from, Helka makes you feel at home. Helka is a discrimination-free zone. Helka strives for good also on a larger scale. Our owner YWCA is continuously addressing profits from hotel operations to girls and women of all ages around the world. So, you also can do good by being our guest in Hotel Helka.
Hotel Helka is a 15 minute walk to the train station that has the train to the airport. It is close to a metro stop and a tram stop about a 5 minute walk. There is a mall with a couple of grocery stores. There are restaurants near by and several fast food restaurants as well. They have a very nice breakfast buffet. Something for everyone.

Eurohostel - Close to the center, free wireless internet and morning sauna! Easy to come by tram and no curfew or lockout. Eurohostel is one of the largest hostels in Scandinavia that is open all year round. The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of the town close by the Market Square (Access to Suomenlinna sea fortress), Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral and Allas Sea Pool. Also many other sights, shops and restaurants are within walking distance and the ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn and arrive just a few steps away!
I can't put more than 3 star unfortunately, They have to be more attentive about the guest's that don't respect the silence hours. I had the bad luck to have my room just in front of the elevator, room 419 (since the first night I had no chance to sleep at all during all my stay) so I pay to be awake all night as others guest just didn't care about the silence hours, and they where talking loudly and screaming during almost all night, on my second night, there were more than 10 people sited on the corridor outside the room after 11h30pm ( I reported it to reception). So sadly that the reception didn't care about my complain, they were just sorry, I would luckily appreciate a little gesture, but one even joke with me telling me if you didn't sleep I can offer you a coffee SERIOUS MAN ?? Ok is an Hostel but like everyone I pay my journey as well and I think to sleep it's a minimum requirement. For the rest nothing to say it was all really nice.

A modern Helsinki lifestyle hotel with nice atmosphere and great location on Helsinki's Mannerheimintie, with the shopping streets, top boutiques, main sights and businesses just a stone's throw away. Hotel fully renovated in 2019.
Very poor restaurant service. Staff had no clue. Good kitchen though. Rooms were ok and clean. Central location. Not recommending this supposedly 4 star hotel at all. I certainly won't stay here ever again.

A very warm & hospitable place. A first for me - room with an inbuilt Sauna. An absolute fabulous idea. Throw in bed is a lidd CD Al wool produce. Nice touch. Breakfast is pretty good and location is almost walking from where ever you’ve to be in town.

A unique hotel offering first-class experiences in the best location in the centre of Helsinki. The stylish interior and the classic style of the beautiful Art Nouveau building, combined with the hotel’s relaxed atmosphere, guarantee a great stay.
Small rooms and noise from trakn is loud. I got a toim next to the room where they were fixing water damage. The hotel was empty but i’ve got the room from renovating area with dirty towels on the floor. And when i went to bed there were coins under the blanket. So no one has cleaned the Room. I said about that and they just said we are sorry and didn’t believe me.
