Reviewed By AN AMy long overdue review in short great place to rest and relax. Room is very clean and has a shower with steam function. A jacuzzi outside. Is well isolated beds are comfy. And hosts are super friendly. Will be back for sure thanks Marc and Carla.

Resort Citta Romana has got 263 luxury accommodations on the beautiful and spacious park. In the central building of the resort you will find a heated swimming pool and a sauna, cosy pub, restaurant with beautiful terrace, beauty salon and a massage studio. Furthermore, every holiday home has its own free Wi-Fi internet access and free satellite TV with 100 + channels. Altogether, national and international guests fall short of nothing during their stay at Citta Romana. The area of Citta Romana offers for everyone its own pleasure. Hellevoetsluis has some great historical stories to tell, you can find them out in the different attractions for example, museum ship "the Buffel" or the dry dock all in the Fortress area of Hellevoetsluis. The surroundings are full of beautiful walking- and bicycling paths. Further on in summers you can go wild on the Aquasplashpark, or even go wilder at Beach club Natural High to go kitesurfing or blo-karting.

Reviewed By Martinchu_1981We were hosted in a semi-detached villa called Forus. This was our selection because we were hosted there for 9 months 18 years ago. Houses in the outside were still perfect, and in the interior everything had been revamped recently so it was in brand-new state. Personnel as friendly and kind as they were almost 20 years ago. Restaurant with maybe less variation in offer but delicious food. Indoor pool was also very good in cleanness and temperature. Overall, a wonderful 5-day stay in Citta Romana. We will come back.

A lovely full breakfast served in a beautiful room on a farm near to everything in the area. Great views from our room looking out at this surrounding farms and villages. Horses and Sunshine were on view while we were enjoying the stay.

Very disappointing room but other that that enjoyable stay.
Reviewed By gk-lommelThe room was more like a motel than a hotel, very basic and the furniture is very old and worn, terrible lighting and the one lamp on the desk did not even have a bulb, I took it to the reception and after 4 attempts they finally found a bulb that worked. Note to management, you should have a stock of replacement bulbs, the receptionist shouldn't have to go to other rooms to try to find one. Our main gripe with the room , besides the work furniture was it, was on the ground floor (room 6) and looked out on a row of cars, we had understood that all rooms looked out on the water. The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice, nice towels and a reasonable shower. The bed was terrible, two single beds, very narrow and very hard. The staff were amazing, very friendly and very helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. We were told the evening before we would be given a tray and asked to make a selection of what we wanted to have from a pretty extensive list. When we arrived to pick up the trays we were told there was a mistake the evening before, no trays, the buffet was open, so a pleasant surprise there, nice restaurant, looking on on the water. So , basically the room gets a thumbs down but the staff more than compensated, management, you should highly value these young girls who are doing a great job.

Reviewed By ninalisakressWe couldnt set the date in the past here in Trivago for the rating. But we went for a few days in juli 2018 We had the Lodge 4. It is supposed to have 4 people but it was even small for the two of us. Unfortunately the house wasnt clean. There was dust and sand everywhere. The couch felt kinda sticky. The pots and pans where beyond dirty and sticky. The screws of the pans needed a screwdriver. That is not funny. Hot oil on skin is a big health risk and unacceptable The worst was that we didnt have hot water for the whole weekend. We called,but the management said there will be a guy who will help us at monday.... So cold water through our whole stay. Coming from the beach and not being able to take a warm shower was a real bummer. I was freezing in the shower. Not very vacayy Also there is no AC!!!! I mean it was 40*C outside. Dont ask how much it was on the inside. It was unbearable. Really hot in this small Lodge. Now imagine we would have bring the kids and the would have needed to sleep right under the roof? I mean they would not withstand the extrem heat. Its been more than a year now. Til now we dont received a refund or an apology. We will come back in September, but we will book a bigger house. Why are we coming back after this experience? Well because its cheaper than center parcs or a hotel and for us it is near to Rockanje Beach. We will book a bigger house this time,like i said. After emailing back and forth with the management and asking if there is an stove and an oven to bake Pizza like on the pictures the answer was ,,Then you need to book with preference and that will cost you 27,50€" Wow, funny.. Didnt see.that in the description, nor is there an option on the booking website to book with oven/stove. Another thing is that the picture shows a tv in the bedroom. I also ask in which house will be a tv. The woman responded in NONE. Yaaaa, well funny. So they trick you with things that arendt even in the house or an option. We will see if the last bad experience was a one-timer. We will give Europarcs Port van Zeeland a second chance. Juuuust bc it is cheaper than center parcs. But Center Parcs Port van Zelande was dirty too so.. whatever. But let me tell you, we will bring our pots and pans and a vacuum cleaner this time and a loooot of antibacterial cleansing stuff. I know this isnt my job as a tourist on vacay. But somebody has to do the job right. I mean how can you live to weeks without a vacuum cleaner by the sea where is sand? This is unacceptable. And unacceptable was also a lot of dust and hair from the people who lived in the Lodge before. We will keep you updated with our next review
