Great hotel atmosphere, best lobby I ever saw - really cosy and welcoming to enjoy happy hour; high quality food - especially everything sourced locally, fantastic adult welness area, great pools (inside and outside). Room standard very high - modern, with generous space. And with fantastic ease of access to skiing - literary few meters between the lift and the hotel ski depot. I definitelly recommend for anybody who enjoys the Alps and is looking for a real treat.

Reviewed By 667nikkipMy brother and I spent 3 nights here for a mini ski break and we were exceptionally happy with this hotel! The staff gave 100% at all times and made us feel very welcome. They were very accommodating and super friendly. The rooms were lovely and clean and breakfast was delicious! Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. The customer service was second to none! 5 star quality!

Staying at a very big room, tidy and extremely comfortable it was natural to a smooth continuation to breakfast: very tasty , rich ,sitting altogether being served with extra care by the excellent stuff. After long days hiking all across the area it was always a warming thought on coming back for dinner Alpenklang: always good food, 3 course meal at which every deatail was the finest ! We loved very much our time at Alpenklang, the children simply adored the place(they enjoyed very much the playground). We wish to deeply thank dear Christoph, Katherine ,cute Victoria and of course all the charming stuff(special regards to Klara!) for hosting us like no other place did before! Family Gera

Reviewed By BkwdeJust finished 5 days at this hotel. Old fashioned but typical Austrian family hotel! Loved it. Good food and good service. Rooms oké and surroundings lovely for a walking or biking holiday! For skiing bit small but think good for beginning kids.

Reviewed By CaptainHoofReasons why you should come to Kendlbacher: - perfectly clean - excellent location in town, very central - modern, brand new (2018) - underground private parking - very friendly staff - the hotel is above an outdoor/sports shop, so ideal if you need any equipment - (e-)bike rental We really enjoyed our stay here. Should we come back to Grossarl, we would book this hotel/apartment again.

Cosy family friendly hotel with great food
Reviewed By Delta_RSCAWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bergzeit. Our stay was in august 2021 with 2 children age 5 and 9. The hotel is very family friendly. The hotel has a rich breakfast buffet. In the evening there is a 5 course diner with choice between meat, fish or vegetarian. Each meal we had was perfectly prepared and very tasteful. There also was an Italian evening witch was very good. The hotel itself is cosy, the owners are always around and very friendly. There are a lot activities for adults such as walking, nordic walking, mountain biking, … accompanied by someone of the hotel. For the children there is a children’s program with a lot of activities for small children ages up to age 12. The hotel is located next to a bike path and close to the elevators to go up into the mountains. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are going back in 2022.

Reviewed By Ludo_LimbachThe family hotel DerAlpenhof is situated in Grossarl valley (Großarltal), not far from the centre of valley – Grossarl and ski centre (with cable cars to Kreuzkogel) and offers nice views on surrounding mountains. The hotel being built in traditional Alpine style is very cozy and offers to guests different options for relax, e.g. spa with sauna, snooker, table tenis, playroom for smaller children etc. Some of the rooms are furnished in modern style, others keep more traditional design. We slept in room in traditional style on the topmost floor. The quality of sleeping was really high, the room including the bathroom was extremely clean and the wi-fi worked properly. The cuisine is mostly traditional Austrian – but all meals we had for dinner were tasty and portions quite large. I would underline also the wine card and especially very interesting and quite extensive selection of beers. But definitely top of the top was the attitude of the staff, especially of brotherly duo – communicative, helpful but still very skillful and not too formal. We highly appreciated that.
