Reviewed By TrekandmoreAt the edge of the oldest part of town, this hotel offers updated rooms with views of the alps. Stairs, no elevator. Good breakfast. Good staff too. A great place for hikers on the Haute Route. Quiet at night.

Reviewed By rfroidevauxWe spent a weekend in Grimentz to enjoy the ski resort. The Cristal hotel was good, but nothing breathtaking to reveal. Standard rooms, clean and traditionally furnished. Breakfast was included, with bread and cheese offered. No local speciality to point out. We enjoyed the free parking and the complimentary ski room offered directly at the cable car station (5mn walk). A bit too expensive in my opinion for such facilities, but still a fair plan in Grimentz.

The hotel has been open since 1964 and was used by the end of winter 2015 as a simple accommodation. Every room and sanitary facility has been tastefully renovated and modernized in 2016. Now it is a small bijou with 5 comfortable rooms. From autumn 2018, the hotel has officially been awarded the 3-star quality seal.

Reviewed By MonkeyminerMidweek Dinner- cosy and attractive traditional Valasian Swiss restaurant. Nice atmosphere, very friendly and attentive owner and food was fresh, healthy and very tasty. Pumpkin soup to start, tasty beef stew and fruit crumble. Large portions but reasonably priced! Will return.
