Reviewed By stefaniebS634BNEverything was fine. We had a grat time there. Very nice and gently Staff. Very clean. The best was the food. If you want something special, you are very right there. When we went to the Wellness Area, i felt like a little child, because it looks like a kind of fairytale.

Bad hygiene, health and safety!
Reviewed By FarAway404036In theory a nice hotel but too many things lacking or wrong to recommend staying with small children. Baby bed had several railings missing so we had to wedge our suitcase alongside it to stop the baby from falling out. Repeatedly asked to change dirty baby bed sheet but they didnt and in the end just put a clean sheet over the dirty one. No high chair available in restaurant meaning baby had to sit and be fed in maxicosi on chair (dangerous!). Childrens corner is next to unprotected fireplace with glass panel. Dinner takes far too long up until about 9pm to get dessert which is a disaster when travelling with small children/babies. Lunch was limited to one, non-vegetarian meal option and was not tasty. One dinner option was marked wrongly as vegetarian on menu. Safe in cupboard was broken and the door stuck out into the room just above eye height so perfect for walking into. Cleaning lady dumped everything off bed and one day even some off floor(!) into the baby bed so she could unecessarily make a pretty pattern with bedclothes (despite frequent asking not to). Also left a dirty cloth hanging from baby bed one day. Really loud repeated banging sounds close to room everyday at 10am disturbed baby's morning nap. Needless to say the holiday was stressful at this hotel and we will not be returning.

Reviewed By honeggmFrom reservation to arrival to being there and unfortunately having to leave again, all great! We stayed at the Engel for 3 great nights. Reception called the day before arrival to ask if they could help with anything, great service. All staff very friendly. Food in the restaurant was great and offered good choice. We like the Kitchen Party, where one has the opportunity to get some dishes directly in the kitchen and see how such a place works. Wellness part of the hotel is amazing and offers all one needs and is looking for. Nice inside pool and outside heated pool. Our room was very nice, lots of wood. Only negative was the bathroom as this one is getting a bit old. Excellent Wifi throughout the hotel. Spa treatment my wife had was very good too. This was the third hotel we went to in Tannheimer Tal and this is the one we will definitely go back to!

Winter time is snowshoe hiking time, a wonderful nature experience in the snowy winter landscape. The Hotel Lumbergerhof is situated in the small village Gran in the valley Tannheimer Tal in Tyrol. The perfect place for escaping in a quiet mountain valley. Our pool area with the new sauna is perfect for relaxing. You can also enjoy a massage with Tyrolean oil. For more action we have our fitness room with modern endurance and strength training equipment. After dinner you can let your evening cosily come to an end in our lobby with a cocktail or a Tyrolean ,,Schnaps". We are looking forward to welcoming you in the Hotel Lumbergerhof in the Tannheimer Tal, sincerely the Barbist Family

Reviewed By Elmer&LizetteThe Lumbergerhof is a very convenient hotel for hiking in the Tannheimertal. We had a room with a beautiful view on the Tannheimertal. The hotel is directly located near some hiking routes. Room was large and clean. TV is small. This hotel is very well equiped for hikers. Maps and information are available. Half board was very good. Servers were excellent and food was good. Diningroom was nice and had a good atmosphere. The hotel is mainly a non-smoking property. Spa and swimmingpool are ok. If these things are important to you than check out hotel Tyrol. Beware. Book directly at the hotel. Don't book this hotel through tiscover.at. The hotel let's you pay the booking-fee. Owner was a bit grumpy during the whole stay. Didn't even say good bye when we left. This is non-typical for austrian owners. This is the reason why we felt that the overall experience is neutral and also the reason why we wouldn't go a second time.

Which is amazing ☺️ I will come for sure here again

Reviewed By 84schwSehr saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft und Anlage. Die grosszügig ausgestattete Küche und andere Räumlichkeiten sind gemütlich & mit Liebe zum Detail bestückt. Die Chalets haben einen unverbauten Blick auf den See und das riesige Bergpanorama. Man kann wirklich abschalten und die Ruhe geniessen. Die Familie Maurer erfüllt auch Sonderwünsche und ist sehr liebenswert. Alles in allem tolle Reise, wunderbar erholt und wir kommen gerne wieder.
