Arrived fairly late, the reception lady and restaurant staff were more than helpful and although it was late the full menu was offered. The food was good, the room was clean and comfortable, all in all it was a great advertisement for Premier Inn

I had the ‘snaith sizzler’ absolutely amazing!! And my husband had the pulled pork burger on the specials board. Good selection on the menu and large servings. Great service and lovely staff. Can’t wait to go back.

We had been visiting a local stately home (Carlton Towers) and decided to stay in the area to explore for an extra day. Happened on the Pig Inn courtesy of TripAdvisor and booked on the basis that we couldn't find anywhere else local with decent reviews. We were delighted that we did. Very comfortable and spacious room, nicely appointed. Also had an unexpected bath tub in the middle of the bedroom, in addition to a fully functional shower-based bathroom. Staff were uniformly lovely. Friendly and efficient. Open plan bar/deli/restaurant area was very welcoming. Food a mix of bar classics and 'cheffy' dishes. We had one of each and both were delicious.

The hotel has an instantly pleasant vibe as soon as you step in. The check in was courteous and efficient. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and served by WiFi and TV. The location is within easy walking distance of the centre of Goole, and its railway station, in a quiet street. Buses are available near the end of the street. I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay in Goole

Regency country house hotel set in acres of mature parkland; elegant but relaxed and friendly. 17 acres of beautiful gardens, stunning views of river, tennis court. Very large bedrooms. Only 5 miles from motorway and local pubs and shops; and 10 mins from mainline station. Easy reach of York, Leeds and Hull. A beautiful location for getting away from it all and relaxing.
Went to wedding as a guest for the day reception. Appalled at the lack of toilets. How do they get away with so few? Meal was ok but butter for bread roll arrived after we had eaten the bread. Gardens nice, lovely setting but remote

This was my 2nd time staying here while visiting my father, this time I took my 6 year old with me. Picturesque, peaceful surroundings but convenient access to the motorway. Spacious, cosy, well equipped rooms, fabulous bathroom, superb breakfast, friendly owners who made me and my little boy feel extremely welcome. And to top it off, super value!

Set in ancient parkland. Beautiful Victorian farmhouse, offering two well-appointed bedrooms for B&B and two fully equipped, private, self-catering cottages, both with two bedrooms, set in an Apple Orchard. Walk, ride, cycle, fish, bird watching, golf nearby, watch the ships sail up the river. 1/2 hr drive to York, interesting market town of Howden, with Minster and boutique shops 7 mins away.
This was very last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, but Vivian and John couldn't have been more accommodating. Room was very nice, bathroom nice and shower great. It is in a very quiet area and that's the point. Breakfast in a great room and excellent.
