The room was clean and neat, with the one exception that a pair of men's swimming trunks were left on a hook on the back of the bathroom door. No biggie, everything else was fine, including the breakfast.

Reviewed By AngelaHansen84116I hesitated to book this hotel because of the reviews but location was more important than the other locations I was looking at. I am glad I stayed here. First, lets be perfectly clear, this isn't a high end brand hotel. It's a Quality Inn. This one is undergoing renovations and a lot of construction. I stayed in two different rooms during my 10 day stay. The first was a smoking room that I booked and it was an ok double bed room towards the back of the hotel. Perfectly adequate for what I needed, a place to do paper work at the end of the day, sleep and get ready in the morning to head out to work. I would have been fine staying there for the entire 10 days but the upstairs bathroom leaked through the my bathroom ceiling and I had to be relocated on night 4. In the first room, the double beds (both) were rock hard. The air conditioner seemed to labor a bit in the 102 degree heat and I pulled the filters out to find them clogged to heck and back. Not a little clogged.....a LOT clogged with dirt and gunk. The room though was clean enough, nothing so great that it couldn't be over looked except some sort of dried up cream style gunk on the wall between the dresser and the desk. Also some sort of lid or cap between fridge and wall. I've seen worse. Logan and Annise were great in helping me get my stuff moved over to the new room, which, because of the troubles ,they upgraded me to a King suite at no extra cost. AHHHHH comfort. It was, however a handicap accessible room. And, a non smoking room. I could have booked this room to begin with, since it was within the per diem for my company, but really need a smoking room to. (Don't judge) Had to stand outside for my nicotine fixes. In 108 degree heat thats not ideal. The bed was firm, not too hard and comfortable. Water pressure was fine with adjustable head. Tub in the double room, shower only in the handicap king suite. They had a simple breakfast that included waffles, apples, juices, cereal, yogurt and packaged danish selection. I never got a chance to spend time in the hot tub, pool or in the garden area, but did check them out and they appeared clean and a nice place to relax for the 'just passing through traveler'. Located right next to the freeway I didnt notice any abnormal amount of noise you would expect being so close to it. There are LOTS of choices in places to eat from fast food to the Black Bear Diner that shares the same parking lot. (Quality Inn guests get a 10% discount at BBD, just have to ask). Lots of nearby shopping with a mall just down the street too. Having said all that the reader should know that I stay in hotels about 200 to 250 days a year, so I notice the smaller things. A couple of things that I noticed, that had I paid the full price for the king suite would bother me were the following: First it is a handicap accessible, meaning that it has a roll in capable shower, extra grab bars in the shower and by the toilet. However it is my understanding that a handicap accessible bathroom requires a seat in it. There was none. I don't think they have any wheelchair accessible rooms that require lower sinks, light switches, etc., and each room has a 3-4 inch step at the door. The flooring is carpet, so would be difficult for a wheelchair as well. The shower curtain didn't hang all the way to the floor causing the water to go out beyond the shower area encroaching near the toilet. A danger for some with mobility issues. The fan in the living area had a clicking sound when it was on. The catch part o the security lock was broken off in the king suite room. A plus for the king suite though is there are two televisions, one in the sleeping area, one in the living area. A few other things that I noticed, (devil in the details) a tear in the couch, a stain on the couch, and it was missing a foot. Both rooms had dirt behind the bathroom doors. (An often missed area for housekeeping to pay attention to). Their van occupied a much coveted 'Diamond Member' parking spot the entire time I was there, when it should have been put anywhere in the vast parking lot they have, and employees parked in the Diamond Member spot right next to it. Look, there are perks being a Diamond member, parking near your entrance/room is one of them. Finally, I am an older female, traveling alone and I never felt unsafe. It is well lit all around the area, I was never accosted by drunken folks as another has mentioned, and I noticed they kept it the grounds very well clean (except in the construction area) My only pet peeve was on a Monday morning, at 6:30 their grounds keeper was outside with an industrial blower in the walkways. It woke me up. I was quick to complain......yes very quick, to only be told that 'he is just doing his job'. Their gal that works graveyard....needs customer service skills. I am including lots of photos of each room. You can be the judge if this is a place for you to stay. For me it was fine, and more than reasonably priced. Was a bit surprised that they added a 2.99 additional charge each night for having a safe in the room. I guess I should have put my socks in it or something since I was being charged for it anyways. Thanks to Annise, Logan and Perla for making my stay pleasant and for accommodating my needs. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. It is budget friendly, safe and the folks working there, for the most part we very pleasant.

Beyond Disgusting.
Reviewed By hjilli951677I just went through a ridiculously repetitive survey on the Super 8 website, which then lead me here. So, to avoid more tedium and my BP rising, the gist is: The bathroom and tub were gross at best, the smell and stains were nauseating, and one of the beds itself was wet through to the mattress, and sheets full of crumbs and hair- obvious sheets had never been changed. Had it not been midnight upon check in, and the need to be up at the crack of dawn for a week long stay at Phoenix Children's Hospital, we'd have promptly left.

We're off 1-10 at the Bullard Exit and six minutes to Goodyear Airport. Luke Air Force Base and PV-303 Business Park are within a 12-minute drive. Goodyear Ballpark is less than four miles away. The giant media wall at our game center is hard to miss. Enjoy free WiFi.

The 24/7 coffee and tea bar in the lobby was a nice perk. The location is great for dinner choices, shopping and entertainment. The location was disappointing at night when we could hear the highway traffic while trying to sleep. I would advise asking for a room facing away from the highway.
