So this is an old bank set up as a guest house. The twin or double rooms are great. It's simple great old style charm. A huge shared lounge room, we were in there on our own; a bottle of wine and a pizza, of course with a good movie! The bathroom is a shared room. Breakfast was spot on with a cuppa next to the open fire. Our host was super friendly and great to discuss the buildings history. We would definitely stay here again, it's right in town and close to the shops!

We often stayed at this place and really liked it,however very disappointed this time,I am recovering from ankle surgery and hubby has terminal cancer, but we made the effort and decided to stay again, they have a sign out the front saying happy hour so decided to go to restaurant for dinner and have a drink first, however happy hour is advertised from 5 to 6,when we got there the man on counter said sorry not open yet we arrived at 5.30, I said the sign says 5 to 6,he said oh that sign is so old, there were people sitting in there looking out,we were left outside,I was struggling on a walker with my foot, and wasn’t even offered a chair,or come in anyway and have a seat, will not be returning which is sad,as we did really like it there

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly, the gentleman was very helpful in recommending a place for us to check out for dinner etc. The room was terrific, clean, nice & cosy! Well worth it's money. Not to mention breakfast was exactly what we needed before another 5+ hour car ride! We were only traveling through, but highly recommend staying the night here if you're traveling through.

Glen Haven Motor Inn, three star rated motel, welcomes guests to country hospitality. We offer selection of 14 ground floor rooms with under-cover parking, to suit your requirements. Including a Queen Bed, a Queen & a Single Bed, a Queen & 2 Single Beds, Two Bed Rooms for family of 5 and Two Bed Rooms for family of 6-7. Glen Haven Motor Inn is situated in lowset cavity and it's full brick property.
I have stay here on multiple occasions but have found a better place. Rooms are satisfactory. Noise from traffic; some rooms have poor internet service; rooms are clean and tidy; leaving the vacancy sign out front when no rooms are vacant is not a practice I encourage.
