Our most fondly remembered place to stay
Reviewed By Cheri BThe people make a place and we especially enjoyed meeting the family at Banyu Homestay. They made us very welcome and were especially friendly to our children and our Mum who was travelling with us. The lodgings were simple but adequate with hot showers and comfortable beds. We felt immersed in the local life as we wandered down the road and ordered dinner at the local street food stalls with our inadequate Indonesian. Much more meaningful than any 5 star resort or luxury hotel. Thank you.

The hotel is located on the edge of a rice field in the middle of a residential area, called Tamansuruh Village, our hotel is famous for its beautiful, cool air and beautiful scenery. there are several destinations nearby around the hotel such as Jagir Waterfall within (5 minutes), Gandrung Terakota Park within 23 minutes), plantation + Kalibendo Waterfall within (10 minutes), the more popular climbing Mount Ijen is (45 minutes). in addition, the hotel also has a restaurant called Waroeng Kemarang with traditional food and dance music which is very popular, plus the natural beauty that makes guests want to always come back. The nearest airport is Banyuwangi Airport, 28 km from this hotel. The closest station is Karangasem Station, 6.3 km from this hotel. There is an airport shuttle service and a paid station.
