We stayed at the Hampton on 2/26/22 and it was awesome. I made several special requests and the night attendant Becca was awesome in helping my stay be great and bent over backwards. When I came down hours later she even remembered my name.

What a disaster. Rooms smell. Hotel staff unattended. Save your money or stay next door Handicapp parking spots were being used for piling up snow and access to sidewalk required walking through mud or snow.

Temple Hill B&B is located in the heart of National Historic Landmark village of Geneseo, NY. A 3 story brick mansion built in 1826 as a school of higher education for young men; we offer 4 elegant guest rooms on the second floor, all with private baths. Our 3 acre property features gardens and swimming pool for guests (in season). Full breakfast served daily. We are located 4 blocks from Main Street & SUNY Geneseo; nearby shopping, antiques, Finger Lakes wine country; 7 miles to Letchworth state park; 30 minutes to Rochester & airport.
I had the most wonderful time staying at the Temple Hill B&B, a beautiful old house with real character. Gail, the Innkeeper, looked after me so well with delicious breakfasts every morning and wonderful friendly advice. This is a family home, and so I loved hanging around with the three super friendly cats, and saying hi to Hallie the dog in the morning. The kitchen was available for respectful use, as was the rest of the public parts of the house. At the time I visited Gail was renting out three rooms of the house, so I only ever really ran into the other guests at Breakfast, which was a very pleasant experience every morning. The location is also excellent; it took me 11 minutes to walk to the main road to see the rest of Geneseo, the location is excellent AND doordash and instacart are very happy to deliver here. Gail made me feel so welcome and the experience of a place to stay which is personal and thoughtful will stay with me for a long time. I know there's a faceless Hampton nearby but unless it is more than half of the price, come meet Gail and her family and you will have an authentic experience of the town and the people who live here.

Beautiful clean Victorian home with wonderful wallpaper, tile, woodwork, comfortable beds and stairs. Our area was on the second floor with sitting room, kitchen and two lovely bedrooms and 2 more bedrooms on the third floor. Four of us women met in Geneseo location to view special event on tv (Daytona 500!!). We also enjoyed special time around the kitchen table with valley view. Expect the deck would be especially nice ... in different season!! Owner Brian went above and beyond to help us, thank You.

The Big Tree Inn is one of the most familiar landmarks on Main Street in Geneseo, NY - a historic community listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Come and experience its 175 years of hospitality and history. Featuring 8 guest rooms, 4 of which are luxury suites with fireplace and Jacuzzi.
I loved everything about our room! Beautiful high ceilings and wallpaper. It was charmingly decorated appropriate to the house with antique furniture and velvet drapes. I loved the dimly lit fireplace and comfy robes at night. The king size bed was so comfortable and bedding superb. The staff was friendly. We took a stroll out on the main street and the town is just as charming. We visited on a Sunday, so not a lot of stores were open, but don't miss the bake shop nearby! Yummm. Cannot imagine how anyone could call this historic house "average"; must be the competition. The restaurant is closed because of Covid, but there are nice eateries in walking distance so it wasn't a problem. The price is a little more than we usually spend, but definitely worth it. My only caveat was that in the ads it appeared that a Jacuzzi tub was in every room. If you want that, make sure to call and reserve, because I was disappointed to find we only had a shower ,(even though the bathroom was beautiful and spotlessly clean).
