In general, Siargao is a very safe place to visit. Locals are always respectful of guests as they are the primary source of livelihood of the island. Siargao Island Villas is very well laid out, maintained and relaxing landscape. Adequately sized swimming pool next to the restaurant is clean and relaxing. For those who intend to work from home, very stable strong wifi and peaceful environment. Most importantly, staff service is very responsive and helpful. Special mention to front desk Jasmine who took comments and recommendations into action. Included breakfast buffet is varied daily and delicious. Servers are friendly and safe accommodating of guests’ requests. We brought wine bottles and the bar provided wine glasses. No corkage fees. Airport transfer provided for a reasonable fee. Decent guests makes he stay comfortable and relaxing. I’ve recommended the villa to friends and family overseas.

I stayed for only 2 nights I should've stayed longer, as I have enjoyed the place. Vivo Inn is a relaxing resort, Quiet w nice people around. The staff are all smiling w warm Hospitality. Michelle always wear a big smile and everyone in the resort On my last night was the owners birthday and us guests were invited to the dinner party serving us good food and lechon which I've been craving for since I arrived, perfect timing ?? , the couple owner were so friendly and accommodating. The garden is well maintained and the pool and the cafe gives a real island feel. Wifi is OK. The room is spotless clean, the location is near cloud9 and the boat port. The price for one night is low priced compared to the comfort and experience they serve their guests. I'm coming back next year ?

Arka Hayahay Surf and Beach Resort is happiness on earth. The 1,327sqm property is a cozy and luscious beach-front boutique resort with direct access to the main road, the beach, two tide pools, a surf spot, and a panoramic ocean view. Arka is located along the central Tourism Road in Siargao island’s main district, General Luna. Its recently refurbished rooms and beach cottages are spacious, wi
I've been to Siargao multiple times and I always find myself going back to Arka! Any person I know who'll be visiting the island, I always recommend them to stay in Arka. The location is amazing, the rooms are great, the staff is accommodating, and the dogs are the cutest. I especially love the Arka beachfront, I feel like I have my own private island. Ultimately I love Arka and I will definitely be booking for the nth time when I come back.

One of the most Reasonable accomodation in Siargao with direct access to sea. I honestly don't swim here but bike to Malinao but the fact that you are enjoying the seabreeze in a nice homey atmosphere is such pure joy. People are friendly, they have long term tenant which you can chitchat and share nice life experience. Eddie and his Wife are very warm and welcoming people. I would love to experience to stay at the 2nd floor room overlooking the water but was fullybooked when I was there. Not for luxury traveller but mid budget, this is far from major restaurant so preferred if you have your own bike or ride. They pick up in the airport if you need transpo. Recommended. I love the nice tropical plants around.

Sinag Hostel offers you an affordable and sustainable home on the island of siargao, close to the most famous surfing spot, Cloud 9, and few meters away from the Sunset bridge. Situated on the quiet neighborhood of Catangnan, Sinag serves as a comfortable and welcoming space for you to rest, chill out and meet new friends in between adventures.
Have you ever watched a prank video that backfired? Because it just happened to me, in the best way possible. My stay in Sinag Hostel was supposed to be temporary. 4 nights, a place where I can hide while I'm prepping a surprise for a friend's birthday. But this hostel won't settle for being temporary. The owner, managers, and even fellow guests will give you one hell of a good time that you'll have no choice but go back. So I gladly went back and my 4 night stay turned into 2 weeks. Then Covid19 happened, that's where my surprise birthday trip backfired. Almost all of the businesses were closing, but in true Sinag fashion, they kept the hostel open to help stuck tourists like me on the island. All that they're supposed to do is give us a place to stay, but they gave me a new standard of "going above and beyond". Grocery runs for each guest, kept everyone entertained by coming up with games, checked that all guests are in before curfew hits, and even went as far as making sure that everyone's eating healthy without spending too much. I haven't even scratched the surface of everything that they've done for us during the lockdown. A pandemic was happening, but Suzie, Isa, Rain, and everyone that I met in Sinag made me feel grateful that my plan backfired and got stuck with these amazing people who know how to "relak their body" and have fun amidst this chaos. So just a fair warning to everyone, once we're back to the new normal, think twice before booking Sinag Hostel. Essentially, they will give you the best island experience that y'all will dig to stay longer and maybe, beat my 75 days (and counting) stay.

This was such a great stay with the most hospitable people. Chrtistia was so helpful and the one to check us in. She gave us great tips and took the time each day to talk to us, answer questions and make sure we were comfortable. We were right across from the water which made it convenient when we rented a boat to island hop on one of the days. The inside was beautifully decorated, clean, didn't feel posh, just homey. The outdoor kitchen made for great breakfasts each morning as they provided fresh pan de sal, and ingredients for pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, etc. Quiet, yet close to town if we decided to adventure out. Worth booking!

Point303 is a newly renovated family operated quality value accommodation with views overlooking the cloud 9 wave.
The room was big and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. Great location opposite cloud 9 if you like to surf, however not much else around so need to get a tricycle into the town. We had a room at the front and the road was quite loud in the morning with mopeds and beeping, but we were still able to sleep at night. The on-site restaurant was fine for lunch / dinner but not great for breakfast. Wi-fi was also good.

Dude with the braces was unprofessional and rude. Wasn’t helpful at all. Didn’t want to help me with my luggage cause God forbid he ruins his nails. He’s a bit of a primadonna. The owner shouldn’t hire someone who’s clueless about hospitality. If you want to be a successful hotel, hire professionals. Also, it would be nice if the staff were all wearing uniforms and not house clothes so we can easily distinguish them from guests. And why in the world is Mr. Brace/Primadonna taking personal ID’s of the guests and storing it on his phone? This is a big privacy issue. And the owner should learn how to run this property the right way and stop this madness. It’s crazy that you have your staff storing personal information of the guests on their phone. This a serious privacy issue. The pictures online are deceiving. Safe, tv, hot shower, Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Too many bugs and mosquitoes in the room that will eat you alive. The hotel smells like a wet dog. Why does the owner have her dog running around the hotel? If you’re going to have your dog running around the hotel at least disclose that so your guests can make informed choices and not get surprised by the stench around the hotel. Are you trying to run a business or what? Stains on the sheets, drapes and that mosquito net around the bed. You’ll wake up with bugs on your bed. Food? Nothing here to excite me. Maybe you should focus more on making quality and tasty foods rather than on focusing on how to make it look cute and instagrammable. That can only take you so far. This is like bait and switch. What you see is not what you get. The Hillside Resort, Siargao is like a ship that’s sinking really fast! Also, our 1,500 php ride/driver to the airport is probably related to your receptionist with the braces because he has the same unpleasant attitude. Also not very helpful and rude! To the owner, your hotel can be good, it can be better if you hand it to professionals who can run it better than you. Sometimes, it’s better to be in the background and let someone else who knows how to run a hotel run your business. This is the only way I see that this hotel can succeed. Otherwise it’s already failed. I will not comeback nor recommend your hotel to anyone. There’s a lot of issues and a lot of stuff that’s not working. There’s nothing relaxing about this stay. I couldn’t wait to LEAVE and was relieved when I did.
