In 2005 the family Seresina opens the first Boutique 4 Star Hotel in Gargnano . Each of the 19 rooms is furnished with great elegance and all are furnished, colors and details that make them unique . The philosophy behind the Boutique Hotel Villa Sostaga is the desire to create a family atmosphere that makes guests feel " at home " without giving up the comfort and elegance that are typical of a refined 4 star hotel at Lake Garda . Situated on top of a beautiful hill and surrounded by a forest of 40 hectares , just a few minutes from Gargnano ( 7.5 km ) and from the Gardesana State Road , Villa Sostaga dominates Lake Garda and its mountains , in a favorable position to reach Brescia , Verona , Mantua and Trento .
Perched over a cliff overlooking Lake Garda, this is the most magical destination we've ever been to! Stunning landscape, dreamy views, excellent service, luxurious accommodation, and delicious curated food with fresh, high quality ingredients. The rooms were super comfortable, everyone was so welcoming and made us feel like home. The swimming pool was great, and the spa treatments were another level. We will definitely be back to this paradise. Thank you Seresina family for an incredible experience.

A villa with 20 romantic rooms in a beautiful panoramic position on Lake Garda, 100 meters from the beach and 500 meters from the picturesque village of Gargnano. The Hotel offers breathtaking views and romantic, relaxing atmosphere.
For the second year our test team have stayed at the hotel. Excellent and helpful service, and excellent food. The whole team happy and impressed. Rooms of a very high standard and I for one would happily return for a holiday break. As a team, we hope to be back.

Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda is located in Gargnano, one of the most picturesque villages on the lake. The Resort, the first to be awarded the prestigious 5-star superior rating on Lake Garda, is situated inside an 11 hectares natural park in the heart of the spectacular and renowned "Riviera dei Limoni", surrounded by gentle hills and natural terraces rich in olive trees and woods overlooking the lake.
It was my honeymoon and they took great care of us, we had an upgrade to a sky suite. We felt like waking up in heaven when opening window shields, jacuzzi was also in so we did not have to bother to leave the room.

Welcome to Hotel La Terrazzina, your Gargnano “home away from home.” Hotel La Terrazzina aims to make your visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, which is why so many guests continue to come back year after year. Given the close proximity of popular landmarks, such as Chiesa San Giacomo di Gargnano (1.5 mi) and Chiesa di S. Francesco (2.9 mi), guests of Hotel La Terrazzina can easily experience some of Gargnano's most well known attractions. You’ll enjoy relaxing rooms that offer air conditioning and a desk, bringing comfort and convenience to your visit. Plus, Hotel La Terrazzina offers a lounge, providing a pleasant respite from your busy day. If you are looking for a nearby place to eat, Hotel La Terrazzina is within walking distance of some popular restaurants including Ristorante Meandro (0.0 mi) and Paradiso (1.0 mi). Best of all, Hotel La Terrazzina makes it easy to experience some great Gargnano attractions like Palazzo Feltrinelli, which is a popular historic site. Hotel La Terrazzina puts the best of Gargnano at your fingertips, making your stay both relaxing and enjoyable.
We have been coming to the Hotel La Terrazzina for many years. It is unique in that it is family run, has superb food and a view that is unequalled on Lake Garda. The owners are super friendly and speak Italian, German and English. Unlike bigger hotels in the area, you will feel like part of the family here. Breakfast this year has been changed to a buffet style, offering a wider selection of quality foods including local salami, prociutto, cheeses, and a myriad of other treats. Dining is available on a balcony, on the terrace or in a covered dining room. This season also saw the addition of two Jacuzzi hot tubs on multiple terraces below the hotel with great views of the lake. Many people stop here simply for lunch or dinner where others like us love to "blend in" for a few days of relaxation. We have recommended this hotel to dozens of people and every person has been very grateful for the introduction. It is simply always great!

The Genzianella Inn is located in Costa, a small and peacefull village about 18km from Gargnano, into the Natural Park of Alto Garda. Our restaurant offers a typical cousine and a fine selection of wines and local products as cheeses and salami. We have also three double rooms, with private bathroom and a small balcony that offers a beautyfull view of the valley. From here you can reach, with a mountain bike or by foot, the near Valvestino lake, the Passo Fobbia or simply enjoy the nature of the Park. You can also pick up your car and visit a lot of beautyfull places, as the S. Valentino hermitage or the villages of the lake of Garda (for example Gargnano, Limone, Toscolano).
Whether you are looking for a good starting point for a hike through nearby mountains or a quiet and friendly place to stay away from the crowds at nearby Lago di Garda, Locanda Genzianella in Costa, a small traditional village of some 40 inhabitants, is a great choice. A 20 minute drive on a paved road from the lake at Gargnano (just follow signs to Costa) brings you to a secluded mountain world with great views, clean air and refreshing atmosphere (and whilst on the road you will be rewarded with great views of the Lake Garda and Monte Baldo mountain above the eastern coast). Although the village is small and its few streets are narrow, there is sufficient place for free parking only few steps away from the Locanda. What gives Locanda Genzianella even bigger charm (in addition to simply, but fully functional and well equipped rooms with small terraces offering widely open views) are hosts Maura and Giacomo. The meals they prepare reflect the (tasty!) regional cuisine and the ingredients they use are all genuinely local - either grown by themselves or by nearby local residents. Maura and Giacomo speak English and German, so even those who do not speak Italian will certainly be well taken care of - my wife and I speak Italian so already after few minutes we felt like we had been welcomed already many times before. Don't expect a 20 page menu for the dinner, but simply let the hosts suggest the four or five main dishes they have planned for the day and whichever you choose, you'll be glad you did. Do not miss the plate of local cheese and salami beforehand and one of the desserts afterwards. The house wine was also a good one. Although our trip was mainly centered around the Lake Garda, we were tempted to make a short walk above the village and that was yet another pleasant surprise we are glad we opted for. For a true home-like experience we definitely look forward to our next stay with Maura and Giacomo at Locanda Genzianella in Costa above Gargnano on the Brescian side of Lago di Garda.

I've seen many discouraging reviews, but I decided to give it a try and it was worth it! Maybe they did some renovation work, maybe some ppl want luxury for 50 Euro (breakfast included)- I want you to know it was a realy good stay. So good we booked another night on way back home. Pros: -very kind receptionist - and no problem if you don't speak Italian -buffet breakfast with tasty cold cuts, not only sweet pastry as usually -a beach just at the other side of the street (public one and with rentable sunbeds and a bar; get ready for the stones, as everywhere) -lake view <3 -pretty scenic walk to the town center! -I'm pretty sure it accepts pets -free parking -comfy beds Cons: -no veggies/fruits at breakfast -no AC in our room (but the lake makes the heat bearable and there were no mosquitos in May) -bathrooms were nice and clean but it was a bit dark and some shower cabins are not very spacious... -some ppl say they didn't like sounds of the waves at night or the restaurant on the other side of the street... guys, you are in Italy, at the lake, come on and feel the atmosphere! You can see it is not new, but it was renovated and... duuuh, it's cheap! And you get nice breakfast for this price! PS get ready for italian type electrical outlets, not every european type plug would fit PS2 I don't know how is the dinner (paid extra) because we ate only at nearby restaurants... guess you only get to choose what is in the "meal of the day" card

Nestled in an exceptional setting, in the heart of the charming city from which it takes its name, is the Hotel Bogliaco: a unique place, with a wealth of history and charm, ideal for long stays in absolute relaxation. Wrapped in an atmosphere of the past, the hotel Bogliaco is a little corner of paradise: set at the foot of gentle hills, directly overlooking the crystalline waters of the lake, enjoys an enchanting, imposing panorama of the Garda in all its majesty. The location, a prestigious villa from the late 1800’s, offers extremely welcoming and charming spaces: the architecture and original design, the elegant furnishings and precious frescos blend, creating a refined and elegant environment. In a privileged location, far from chaos, but easily reachable and near the most interesting historic and cultural destinations, it is ideal for those seeking a place of peace and harmony.
A creative fish menu to celebrate re-opening after our long lockdown. The chef prepared a delicious menu with marinated trout, pike with polenta and the really delicious fish cake as hors d’oeuvres. This followed by tagliolini with white fish, capers & olives and then really tasty Codfish filled ravioli in a very delicate lemon sauce. The main course was Slow cooked char with with potato rösti with a delicious lemon grass sauce. All followed by a creative basil flavored ice-cream accompanied by a “sbrisolona” . The food was excellent although the service was rather slow due to a lack of staff, which is a situation which should be dealt with. However, I must point out that all Covid protection regulations were used.

Family passion …HOSPITALITY FOR MORE THAN 60 YEARS The great strength of this group is teamwork. The hotel - at 200 m. from the beach - has ... a small indoor swimming pool (12mt x 6) to relax - a beautiful garden - a great panorama terrace - private parking - rooms with balcony lake view -TV-SAT – mini bar - phone - safe. The breakfast buffet and the excellent cooking complete all the comforts of an efficient cordial service. “The guest must be able to feel at home; while we show respect for our staff and their work, just as our father taught us.”
In short, hotel is well positioned just on the main route on right lake bank. Feeling in interior reminds me 1980's but rooms are clean, room service works well and the outlook from terrace is amazing. The lake is different each day, the light is breathtaking. Downtown is not so far, as well the coast (and beach). Carefully choose your restaurant in the city, especially on promenade. Top PROs - simply the personnel approach - friendly, open, willing, smiling, nothing impossible - location and accessibility - climate might be - wet and hot - cuisine - top! Top CONs - claimed free parking places are not free, they are for 10€ per day - noise from the road even in the night (motorcycles are everywhere everytime) - way out on SS45bis route - no matter you go south or north - 25km to Riva / 45-60 min

The thick walls, high ceilings, marble stairs, the roof terrace: Everything in this old house, speaks of a simple and elegant tourism past. Our cozy rooms and a bar with stone walls will be your companions in blissful relaxation
We've stayed here at least 5 times over the past 25 years, once for an entire month--it was a joy from the first and yet has somehow gotten even better each time. Gian and Elisa Scanferlato, the gracious hosts, always make us feel welcome and go out of their way to help visitors enjoy and explore Gargnano, including helping me via email ahead of time to plan a large academic conference in Gargnano and then offering assistance multiple times as needed throughout the week-long event (their fluent English made them especially helpful to conference attendees). We've booked additional rooms to stay here twice with family--once with an 8-month-old grandchild and her parents and most recently with two older grandkids, 9 and 11, and their parents--and have been told afterwards how much they all wish to return. From the moment we step off the ferry and roll our suitcases the short level block to Gian and Elisa's front door, we feel happy and at home. Each day starts with a delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake--and we often found ourselves on the lovely terrace in the evenings as well, enjoying the breeze, watching the lights across the water, and sharing a bottle of wine from the self-service fridge. But do bring earplugs; with windows open, street noises or voices from the busy restaurant by the lake are inevitable until 11 pm or so. On the hottest days, the ceiling fans helped keep us cool in the absence of AC. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are immaculate, and we can't imagine staying anywhere else when we come to Gargnano!
