Our stay at the Yellowstone Village was an amazing experience. From the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the premises, the breath-taking views, our family enjoyed not only our experience in the Park but appreciated the accommodations the Village Inn & Suites provided for us and our kids. The location was very convenient to access the Park and many activities. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and make certain we had a memorable experience. At the end of the day, we were able to relax while the kids enjoyed the pool that was definitely freshly painted. Thank you Cody and Taylor for such a memorable stay. We will return and book with you again.

Gardiner is the place to stay if you want to get into Yellowstone and to Mammoth Hot Springs quickly. Larry checked us in and he was efficient, friendly and just plain happy as well as helpful (It was quite late and he sent us up to the Antler Grill, so we could get our food order in-great suggestion). Our room was decorated with log furniture, was clean and spacious and had a small table and chairs. We also had a small 'mini-bar' with a sink in the room, as well as a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There was no electrical outlet on one side of the bed, but I always travel with an extension cord and a multi plug, so no big deal. The bed was very comfortable, the A/C efficient and quiet and parking was good. Now for breakfast: they served two kinds of scrambled eggs (strange to begin with) and sausage links. That was it for anything hearty; no piece of toast, bagel or English muffin . They did have waffles and syrup, sweet rolls and more sweet stuff; there were also two kinds of yoghurt. The very weird breakfast is the reason for my four star rating.

Your adventure starts here. At our Travelodge Gardiner/Yellowstone Park Area hotel, you’ll have easy access to the sprawling Yellowstone National Park. The park’s historic Roosevelt Arch and north entrance is only a mile away, and downtown Gardiner restaurants and shops are also nearby. Located off Highway 89, you'll be minutes from hiking, fly fishing, whitewater rafting and more exciting outdoor activities along the Yellowstone River.
The hotel was clean and beds comfortable for a 1-night sleep/shower. Not ideal if you need to spread out a bit as it was tight quarters. Small "store" offered snacks, but only coffee was offered in lieu of a breakfast. Gardiner appears to have plenty of lunch/dinner options, but few options for breakfast.

I don't understand some of the recent negative reviews. We go to Yellowstone every year and have stayed in nearly all the properties in Gardiner and in the park and we found the Ridgeline to be on a par with almost every other property. Gardiner, Montana isn't a 5-star area! As for cost, it's well-known that Yellowstone is very expensive if you don't book far in advance. Don't expect a great deal if you wait until later to book -- if you can find anything available at all. We always book 6-12 months in advance. We stayed 4 nights and had absolutely no problems. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Because of Covid there was no daily housekeeping (but we've found that to be the case all around the country in the last 2 years). Anything we needed was supplied quickly and with no problem at all. The shower had nice pressure and plenty of hot water. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We didn't need the heat, but the A/C worked fine. We used the pool 3 times and it was well maintained and clean.. The only possible improvement I would ask for is to have breakfast included or at least an offer of "grab and go". Instead, there is a breakfast buffet offered for $14.95. We took advantage of that once, but all the other mornings we just had fruit etc. in our room. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The Roosevelt Hotel - Yellowstone offers accommodations in Gardiner. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Certain units include a sitting area to relax in after a busy day. Views of the mountains, garden or city are featured in certain rooms. Every room is fitted with a private bathroom. Extras include free toiletries and a hair dryer. There is also two bedrooms cabins available.
Our early June stay was about $200/night. Quite nice for a ‘mid-priced’ motel. Quality room in almost every detail. For example, the mini-fridge was quiet and had a real freezer…excellent at freezing water bottles for our cooler. Many other thoughtful quality details. Our room (next to the office) seemed brand new, clean, spacious, and fresh. Disappointed that the huge bathroom had almost no horizontal surfaces to lay out your stuff.

Stayed here for one night en route from YNP. Front office not open until 4 p.m., we were a little early, friendly owner quickly answered phone, popped over on her customized golf car, and got us our key. Our deluxe 2-queen room was spacious, very clean, with a small table w/two chairs, plenty of storage space, thoughtful small basket of clean rags for things like boots, motorcycles; no closet, but pegs next to the door for coats. Kitchenette was a small fridge, microwave, drip coffee maker, dish soap, 4 coffee mugs, 4 tall beer glasses, and four sets of paper plates, plastic utensils. Decor is Montana cabin cozy style, quite inviting. Wifi worked well; large TV. No cooking utensils, no microwavable plates or bowls -- we travel with disposable bowls, which came handy to make cold cereal and warm up some items from local grocery store. No Kleenex in room, kitchen dish towel and kitchen wash cloth provided but no paper towels. Sign asks guests to wash dishes before leaving, but no dry rack -- used the dish towel to lay out the coffee mugs to dry. Bath room was large, big shower. Plenty of towels. Good quality toilet paper. Minuses: plumbing drain in the wall from upstairs unit was very loud and we could hear voices from adjoining space. Only 1 room key (we were a party of 3 adults). Heating/cooling system in window was a bit noisy when the fan came on. Fortunately, upstairs resident went to bed shortly after we did, beds were comfy and we slept well. 10 a.m. check-out time a little earlier than most places. Lodge conveniently only 1.5 blocks from the main road, just a 10 minute walk to the Roosevelt Arch, places to eat nearby. Gardiner has some fun shops to poke around in, too. About 15 minute drive to Mammoth Hot Springs within YNP, could cover a fair amount of the park from Gardiner as a jumping point. Would not mind staying here again, the $308 total (3rd week of May 2022, with taxes) a significant savings from what lodges (without kitchenettes) cost within YNP.

This place was a breathe of fresh air. Clean, spacious, friendly staff, great view, close to everything. The price was not bad compaired to other places we stayed while in Yellowstone. Neat little town with a few quiant restaurants. Great when going to Mammoth Falls, Tower Falls, and Lamar Valley.
