Abundant wildlife above and below the waves draws eco-tourists to Ecuador's Galapagos. Get up close on a stroll or in a Zodiac boat. Snorkel and dive with denizens of the deep, from sea lions to sea turtles at Santiago's Cousin's Rock. Hike by finches, flamingos and iguanas along the Darwin Trail. Admire Sierra Negra Volcano on Isabela. As visitor numbers are limited within the islands' National Park, book your boat tour through a tour operator. CASA NATURA GALAPAGOS LODGE is a small family run bed & breakfast on the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island, 20 minutes away from Puerto Ayora. It has 14 rooms, pool, self-guided trail and several social areas for passengers to experience. Rooms have a balcony that enables guests to enjoy from the lush scenery of the highlands and its ecosystem. Experience staying at a property in the middle of nature in the Galapagos.
My stay at Casa Natura was lovely in every way, from the beautiful foliage around the hotel to the delicious meals provided for us daily. The family spoke little English, but their generosity was evident in every way, and we could not have felt more welcomed. By the end of our 10 day stay in the Galápagos Islands, the staff of Casa Natura felt like family. The food was amazing, and I looked forward to meals every day. The air conditioning worked well in the rooms, and the hammocks outside were perfect for relaxing in the shade. 10/10 recommend for anyone seeking a place to feel at home during a stay in the Galápagos Islands.

"Semilla Verde is an exceptional hotel with the customs and personality of a traditional guesthouse." We believe your experience in the Galapagos Islands should be as unique and natural as you are. So, here at Semilla Verde we offer you the chance to stay somewhere far removed from your busy life and the standard hotel offering you may be used to. We invite you to step into another world, the original Galapagos, the true and enchanting islands. And, to experience the wonders of a rural forest dwelling and life alongside the unique wildlife you came so far to see. Your stay will be based in an original and idyllic rural retreat where peace, privacy and Galapagos wildlife abounds. You will enjoy one-to-one personal service, traditional home cooking, panoramic views from private terraces and exclusive access to nature trails through twelve acres of private forest where giant tortoises lumber freely and native birds thrive. At night, gaze up into the unspoilt majesty of the milky way. Nine comfortable en-suite bedrooms with AC, WiFi and DVD just 15 minutes taxi ride from Puerto Ayora town, costing just $7 e/w. All in all, an authentic and genuinely friendly and authentic land-base for your Galapagos adventure and an all encompassing alternative or add-on to a traditional cruise ship experience. Semilla Verde works with a local tour agency to offer complete hotel & tour package options too. You will visit outlying islands and local sites with qualified naturalist guides and experience first hand the beauty of Galapagos and it's unique flora and fauna - from giant tortoises and lava lizards to marine iguanas and playful sea lions, from volcanic landscapes to cloud forest. Return to the hotel at the end of an incomparable day and share your travel stories around the main dining table with other guests, whilst enjoying dinner freshly prepared in our kitchen. Indeed we don't work from a fixed menu rather we generally prepare one recipe for the group, but each guest receives a serving according to their individual preferences. The location is secluded but convenient and very safe. There is not another residence within hundreds of meters of this oasis. Semilla Verde remains true to the philosophy on which it originally built for good friends and family, ensuring a level of intimacy, small number of employees offering very personal service and home cooking your will only find in a traditional guesthouse. Semilla Verde comprises two hotel buildings some 100ft apart - the Semilla Verde Lodge (Rooms 1-6) and the Finch Wing (Rooms 7-9). They can work in unison or as separate entities for separate parties. Between the two there is a fully equipped yoga studio where you can enjoy individual or group practice. Galapagos is famous for it's volcanic landscapes and unique wildlife, but it can also be somewhere for you to rediscover your true and unique nature, somewhere you can feel yourself again.
From pre-stay communication, to check in to departure, we couldn’t have hoped for more. Cattya took care of us at every moment. She is the epitome of hospitality, from two with very critical hospitality eyes. Truly the best part of our trip!!!

The award-winning hotel enjoys a peaceful and magical beachfront location in Puerto Ayora, on Santa Cruz Island. The 21 Garden View-rooms and 6 Ocean View suites hotel makes the ideal base for exploring the natural diversity and attractions of the island – including Tortuga Bay beach – and for taking day-trips to nearby islands, aboard its own, specialized yacht. The hotel also implements best practices in sustainable tourism.
We are just checking out of Finch Bay after a lovely relaxed three night stay. These were the last nights of an action packed 15 night stay so we have been winding down and relaxing. The entire team at the hotel are charming, friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The bay is secluded and lovely for a very gentle snorkel. It is a short walk to Las Grietas and an easy boat ride back into town. Importantly, the bed was really comfortable with good pillows so easy to get a good nights sleep. The food in the restaurant was excellent and eating out by the pool very relaxed and chilled

This hotel is simply the best on san Cristobal! Owned by a very sweet family. They are very helpful, they helped us getting very early breakfast for a trip and helped us when we had any questions. The breakfast was very good and served on the rooftop with a truly nice sea view, and the rooms are clean and cozy. As the owner said himself “we only want happy faces” - and we were very happy with our stay at the hotel:))

Traveller's choice since 2015 Welcome to "Your home in Galapagos"
We stayed here for 3 nights after our Galapagos cruise, based on TA reviews. We are so glad we chose Cucuve. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated and our room (101) was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet and the king size bed was quite comfortable. My husband commented several times about how comfortable the bed was. They think of everything for the room. The whole hotel is light and bright. We liked that the hotel was close to everything but slightly off the main street (Charles Darwin) which we thought made it quieter. We had them do our laundry and it was back very quickly and was not expensive. Ana and staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and we had a number of choices each day. The coffee was great. We had them arrange airport transport for us both ways, just to make it easier for us, and we were very pleased. We highly recommend Cucuve Hotel.

Iguana Crossing is Isabela's newest and most innovative hotel. Its minimalist design and superior service offer guests a privileged experience on this scarcely populated island. Iguana Crossing is located in between Isabela's extensive white sand beaches and directly behind a wildlife-filled lagoon. Iguana Crossing offers an oceanfront swimming pool, Jacuzzi, 12 fully equipped rooms and a master suite.
We were recommended here by our friends. It was perfect. The beach view was the best. We were in room #3. Pedro at the front desk is the man. We had layover time in Baltra and his suggested to go to the highlands and see the craters. He arranged our cab for the trip. Thank you Jonathan for booking our ferry rides and our breakfast for the ride over. The food here is excellent. Breakfast was included. The tortoise sanctuary is a short walk. Lots to see. I especially loved the marine iguanas. Definitely coming back and staying here again.

This is an attractive, welcoming hotel with excellent service. Many of the rooms have balconies with scenic views of nature and the ocean. It's in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to Charles Darwin center and the shops/restaurants on the island. Manager Carlos was helpful with everything.

IsaMar Hotel is exactly what its name suggests, “Paradise on Galapagos” Isabela is the largest island. This one-million-year old island has it all, from volcanos to a wide range of flora and fauna. The only choices you must make during your stay at paradise is where to explore the islands wonders by land or sea, or to have a relaxing afternoon on a beautiful deck with ocean view.
Everyone at this hotel was amazing and gave us the best service. Everyone was so hospitable and welcoming especially the bartender, Daniel, who made the best drinks. The hotel was kept super clean and the location was perfect!
