At the niu Saddle, the chalice of conviviality will not pass you by. Here you are at home with friends and firmly in the saddle of the Franconian locals. Here, we've taken up the cudgels for families, friends and couples: whether it's a sundowner on your own terrace, hanging out with friends in our Living Lobby or chatting with the neighbourhood at the bar - at the niu Saddle, anything is possible!
Service good, bed comfortable but cushion terrible : too soft. Next railway made impossible to open window when airco did not cool the room. Breakfast was average, breadrolls were reheated and dry, and cheese was cold and dried out, should be covered. Wifi was decent but not stable, and housing keeping a bit slow in addressing issues. Still good location to city center, but railway line is something to consider. Good value for money considering the style of hotel

The NH Fürth Nürnberg hotel was recently renovated in 2014 and is located in the center of Fürth. The hotel is across the street from a lovely municipal park and close to the city’s main shopping street, where you will also find restaurants and bars. Nuremberg is only a 15-minute drive away, plus the Fürth Hauptbahnhof station is within a five minute walk for links to the surrounding cities and towns. At NH Fürth Nürnberg, you can find 118 spacious modern suites, decorated in crisp whites and neutral color schemes. Each comes with a separate living area and two TVs. There is also free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning available in each room. There is also a sauna and relaxation room where guests can unwind. The hotel offers parking for a fee of 12€ per day.
Not my first stay at this hotel & hopefully, not my last stay either. On my previous stays I arrived by car or by train from other cities in Bavaria or Baden Württemberg but this time I only had to get to the hotel from Nuremburg Airport & so, I chose to use the public bus, no.33, costing 3.20 Euros. There were several stops that I could have got off at & which would have been short walks to the hotel but I chose to get off at the last stop, Furth Hbf, which was a short easy walk that I knew well. Checking in was a very pleasant experience, quick, friendly & informative with all the relevant info given by Daniel at reception who was excellent. I was advised on the local covid restrictions in force (which had changed just a couple of days before my arrival), local bars & restaurants that would be open & on checking out, Wi-Fi etc. The hotel bar was closed owing to the new restrictions & breakfast would cost me 24.99 Euros per morning if I wished to add it but at that price, I gave it a miss. I was given one room key card which was not required for activating the electricity in the room but which was needed for the aircon/heating. With two lifts in the foyer close to the reception desk I was soon on the way up to my sixth floor, non-smoking room. Having stayed here previously I can confidently say that most, maybe all, of the guest rooms are identical in size, layout & décor. My room faced out over Konigstrasse & on entering it I definitely had a feeling of déjà vu First up the kitchenette/living area which was a large space & like the rest of the suite, clean & bright. With a laminated wood floor it was a well equipped kitchenette having a counter/food bar, 2 high stools, microwave oven, fridge, sink, kettle, large mirror, coffee, teas, sugar, coffee creamer, bottle opener & plenty of electrical sockets. The living area had a double sofa bed, coffee table, tall freestanding hat & coat rack, wall mounted tv, smoke alarm, air con, work desk, chair, tall floor lamp & a reading light. A large window gave plenty of natural light & a little bit of traffic noise. The bedroom was located off the living area & was separated from it by a large sliding door/panel. A really decent sized room with a big comfortable double bed (a night of great sleep), wall mounted tv, bedside lockers, reading lights, long mirror, smoke alarm & plenty of electrical sockets. A medium sized window let in enough natural light & like the living area, some traffic noise but, not enough to interrupt my sleep. A sliding door separated the bedroom from the two-section bathroom which, taken as one room, was a nice size. The first section, nearest to the bedroom, had a tiled floor, wash hand basin, large wardrobe/closet, safe, shoe cleaner, large mirror, shaving/makeup mirror, wall hung hairdryer, two hand towels, cream soap in a wall hung dispenser & one electrical socket. The second section had tiled walls, toilet, ceiling vent, two bath towels, shampoo, hair & bodywash in wall mounted dispensers, bottles of shampoo, shower gel & body milk, small bar of soap, shower cap, bath, bath shower screen, easy to control bath shower mixer with a large shower head & hose on a rail. The shower had good pressure & the bath shower screen was excellent as there was none of the usual semi flooding on the floor that I often encounter after a bath shower. Unfortunately, the water whilst having a morning shower was at best, not much more than lukewarm & I didn’t linger under it for a second more than I had to. I certainly would have liked it to be a few degrees hotter & I’m not one of those people that likes the water to be almost hot enough to scald. In truth, the mirror wasn’t even steamed up after my shower. I reported this issue on checking out & it was noted. The complimentary Wi-Fi was good, easy to connect to, consistent & it auto reconnected instantly whenever I entered the hotel. I can not comment on the breakfast as I did not avail of it because the price, as mentioned above was, in my opinion, too expensive. Checking out was fast & hassle free. I only encountered two staff members during my stay both of whom were superb – Daniel on checking in & Vanessa on checking out. I must give Vanessa a special mention as she was so helpful & patient in the weeks leading up to my stay. Because of soaring covid numbers & ever changing restrictions, a number of people who were due to travel with me (on my booking) cancelled & the dates of my stay changed. A large number of emails were exchanged, sometimes several per day & despite this, Vanessa calmly & efficiently made the amendments to my booking & responded to my numerous emails immediately, always in a friendly manner.

This was a very special treat after staying in downtown nurembers. The secluded setting was the icing on the cake. Everything in our room seemed brand new. Very impressively clean. The staff greeted my 4 children with PlayMobil toys upon arrival. The rooms don't connect so that was a bummer but we stayed side by side. The GYM equipment is the best I've ever seen in a hotel. They have a PELOTON!!! WOW! They have C2 brand rower, pulls, and a bike. They have a curved self-propelled tredmil! HIGH CLASS. The pool changes color and has secret buttons (try to find them). They make the bubbles go. The only thing I couldn't get used to is the NO CLOTHES policy in the sauna. Naked people walking around is never good for kids. haha. Oh well, I guess that's European style. Beware. IVAN, the bartender is a GREAT bartender. Very personalable and welcoming. We weren't going to drink but we walked by and he was so inviting we stayed to drink and chat. The restaurant staff was also very nice! Such a wonderful experience overall. It seemed like we were only a few of us in the hotel so it was peaceful in and out of the hotel. We would love to come back soon!!! 5 stars all the way!

A really easy to find hotel located on a fairly busy street in the city centre. I arrived at 12:45 & my room was ready. Jacqueline checked me in, a very friendly, quick & informative check in as I was advised of breakfast times, Wi-Fi, checking out time etc & things in the locality such as restaurants, the train station etc. I was given a key for my room not a card & this key had to be used to open the door to the courtyard where my room was, reassuring security for me. So, on to my room. It was back out of the reception/foyer through the main entrance for me & through the door to the outdoor courtyard. My room across that courtyard was no.33. The electricity for the room was accessed by way of a switch just inside the room door & when the lights were switched on, it was instant wow. A very large, very quirky room that was cleverly designed to maximise all of the space available. The first area that I saw was the work area neatly tucked into a space next to the room entrance. With a desk, chair & reading light it was perfectly located, tucked away from the rest of the room. It had four unused electrical sockets so handy for working, gaming or just charging up phones etc. A radiator provided the heat & a window, the natural light. The tile floored hallway/open space leading to the bathroom & sleeping area had a clothes rail, hat & coat hooks, luggage rack/stool & a full length mirror. The bathroom was open plan, very exposed with no privacy but as it was a single room, it wasn’t an issue for me. It had a tiled floor & the walls were partially tiled but were mostly covered by pvc panelling. There was a large shower enclosure c/w a shower head & hose on a rail that had great water pressure & an abundance of hot water, towels, hairdryer, slippers, mirror, shaving/makeup mirror, ceiling fan/vent, two electrical sockets, small bar of soap & 30ml bottles of body lotion, shampoo & shower gel. The sleeping area had a laminated wood floor, nice sized & comfortable single bed, bedside locker, lamp, smoke alarm, tv, armchair, minibar (photos of prices attached), wardrobe, umbrella, plenty of electrical sockets, radiator & a Dyson cooler fan which cooled from 0 degrees to 10 degrees. Two windows meant plenty of natural light. I had no issues whatsoever with noise. Breakfast was served from 06:45 to 09:00 - Mon – Fri & from 07:30 to 10:00 on Saturday & Sunday. I went in at 09:20 & there were only three other guests there. The food on offer was very good, nice & tasty with a decent selection on offer. It was a mix of buffet & to order & I could eat from both as I pleased. The Self-service buffet had toast, breads, yoghurts, cereals, croissants, muffins, pastries, prunes, tomatoes, cucumber slices, pepper slices, fruit salad, apricot slices, seeds, honey, jams, orange juice, grapefruit juice & smoothies. The staff were ultra-attentive & I was offered the menu for the “to order” selection almost instantly on being seated. That menu had cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fried bacon, mushrooms, scrambled, fried & boiled eggs, tea & coffee. The complimentary Wi-Fi was excellent in my room & in the foyer. It was accessed by password & was very quick to connect to with good speeds, was very consistent & auto connected immediately on entering the hotel. There were umbrellas in the foyer for complimentary use by guests. I had a great cup of latte macchiato in the foyer for the very reasonable price of 2.50 Euros. The hotel’s location is fantastic, very close to the railway station & the bus stop for the airport bus, numerous shops, the famous Gruner Brauhaus & many other bars & restaurants. It was an easy stroll to the old town & to my favourite Furth drinking spot, the aptly named die BAR with its friendly locals, it’s very reasonably priced good food & great selection of draft & bottled beers with a lot of the beers costing 3.10 – 3.30 Euros per 500mls. My personal favourite beer there was Hallendorfer Rauchbier which cost 3.30 Euros for a 500ml bottle. Until I drank it in die BAR I had never before seen Rauchbier anywhere else other than Bamberg.

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room and bathroom was clean. I was really surprised by breakfast buffet. It offers many different food. The sweets are specially taste. I will definetly choose this hotel again, when I am in Nurnberg. It is not far from the city centre. Many restaurants around, walking distance.

After having stayed at the Ambienthotel last year for the first time to visit Nuremberg and the Spielwarenmesse, i new i would come back again the next year and i just did the end of January 2019: With a great location in a cute area with authentic German restaurant (Rotes Rot) just around the corner i embraced the local German culture. Peaceful area and just a few metro stops away from the gorgeous Nuremberg old city. The rooms were a joy, once again. Spick and span, big in size and nicely warm, no funny smells at all (and no smoking). Super clean and fresh. Breakfast is very complete. Warm and cold dishes varying from cerials to bacon, fresh fruit, yoghurts, eggs and sausages etc. served with fresh tea or coffee from the waitress. Lovely honey and jams to put on your freshly baked buns too. And then the people who work there.. Nothing but praise for them. So friendly and nice, open and happy people! They really take care of you and take initiative to give that extra bit of service. This hotel with all its positive points is one i would highly recommend to both business people and holiday visitors! Laurens Pol

There was an exhibition taking place in Nuremberg, so options were very limited. The SP Hotel is very basic: small rooms with just a basin. One toilet ans one shower cubical for common use, no ensuite. Thin walls, so noise from other rooms came through. All this for €130 per night! Staff were friendly and breakfast was good, but overall not a great stay and way overpriced.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Due to the Covid situation was the bar and the restaurant clossed. My room was on the 5th floor and was fantastic. Great view over the city and the Canal. Staff advised me to go to the Italian restaurant at 600 meters down the street, this was a good advise. So my stay was perfect
