View of Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo and the village of Sant'Angelo with moon.
There are no words that can describe our wonderful stay at Torre Sant Angelo. The minute you walk into the room you experience the incredible view of the beautiful town of Sant Angelo. This is an incredibly run boutique hotel . Cleanliness and Comfort of the rooms are 5 star. The Breakfast and unique dinners are all Fresh Farm to Table. We cannot thank Pietro and Umberto and staff for all their hard work and service to make our stay pleasurable. All our service needs were met from Shuttles and Excursions to Laundry services we did not have to think about a thing on our vacation. Truly Heaven on Earth. Thank you a million !

The Hotel Grazia alla Scannella is ideal for guests who intend to experience a beach holiday as a moment of authentic relaxation. The hotel has two hot water swimming pools: one outdor (28° - 30 ° C), one indoor (36° - 38°). Free wi-fi connection in all areas of the hotel. Shuttle service to / from the center of Forio and Citara beach. Fitness. Wellness & beauty department
Great location and facilities in the hotel. The warm indoor pool and outdoor spa pools are great however need some maintenance as some jacuzzi jets and waterfalls are not working as the should. Location is fantastic on a cliff overlooking the sea but not much around so need to get the free shuttle to the beach or town to find shops or restaurants

Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa, is a peaceful oasis proudly dominating the Gulf of Naples. Open for ‘the season’ the hotel captures the loveliest times in Italy from spring to autumn, when sunlight glints off the fresh seas lapping the Mezzatorre’s private cove. The Mezzatorre welcomes guests in a stunning setting without equal. The 52 rooms and suites are located either in the old tower and the cottages, set in a large park of 7 hectares, surrounded by the Mediterranean maquis and overlooking the sea. The hotels offer 2 restaurants and one bar, a stunning Wellness Centre & Thermal Spa with three hydrotherapy pools, housed in 16th Century watchtower of the hotel.
My wife and I spent an unforgettable few nights here as a part of our honeymoon in Italy. I first found Mezzatorre through American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts and booked through the program, which provided a whole host of benefits. We did receive/use an upgraded sea view room, spa credit, and late check out during our stay. Ischia island is the more unassuming sister to Capri in the Gulf of Naples and is a short ~45 minute boat ride away from the city's port. We traveled by train from Rome, took the public ferry and was met by a private transfer car at the Ischia port for a scenic 20 minute drive through winding island roads to reach the wonderfully private Mezzatorre grounds. All in all, our travel time from Rome was just ~3 hours without any rushed connections. They also arranged our car back to the port on the day of check out. The hotel does offer other transfer options and after seeing others arrive and depart from the private dock at the hotel, I just might book their private boat transfer next time! We were met by the exceptionally courteous Salvatore at the front desk for a seamless check in and brief tour of the grounds. We had a stunning first impression of the well manicured and decorated resort with beautiful views of the sea and other parts of the island. Salvatore and the rest of the concierge handled any and all requests during our stay with great speed and diligence. Our room was not yet ready on arrival around 2pm, so we had lunch at their outdoor lunch restaurant La Baia, where the dining manager would be informed when our room was ready and this was relayed to us just as we finished our meal. Our sea view room was situated just above La Torre restaurant looking toward the main tower. The Aragonese architecture and designs throughout the resort really impressed. The room itself was well appointed with thyme scented toiletries and a fully stocked fridge/minibar including a multitude of complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Mini wine bottles and cocktails in the room were available for purchase. We were also pleasantly greeted by a bottle of Prosecco on ice and a very warm hand-written card noting our celebration of our honeymoon. We were able to enjoy it on our room's private outdoor patio with 2 lounge chairs as well as a small table with 2 chairs. This would have been a great place to have in-room breakfast had we chose to do have it. Of note, not all rooms have this much outdoor space and others had terraces from a higher vantage point. For 3 nights and 4 days, we enjoyed the resort so much that we only left the grounds once for dinner in the nearby town of Laco Ameno. The hotel provides on-demand complimentary transport by golf cart/buggy to this town that is just ~5 minutes away by drive. We spent most of our time by the water where there was ample lounge chairs available. During the days, we swam in the private bay/cove, used the paddle boards to venture out farther, and enjoyed the thermal spas. We also used the tennis courts and gym, which were nice. The warmed seawater pool was great to have, but swimming in the calm cove is not to be missed! We didn't book any excursions this time, but saw many groups head out on boats via the private dock. Dining at Mezzatorre was overall excellent, but not perfect. Breakfast buffet had decent variety and quality for the size of the resort, but did fall short to some other larger hotels of equal caliber. For lunches and dinner, we had a lot of very fresh and well-prepared local seafood and pastas. A limited menu was available at the lounge chairs while a full lunch was served at La Baia. The food was not standout, but as good as expected for a place of this caliber. They had a good variety of wines including some good local options. Prices of food and drink are higher than local restaurants, but are on par with luxury hotels/resorts elsewhere. Dining staff were very nice and some stood out with some Italian flare to their service (Antonio, Luca). We did see some small things fall through the cracks, but it didn't hamper our overall experience. Looking back at our stay, I would say we were well taken care of by the staff and really enjoyed the resort and its amenities. The view, grounds, and swimming cove are the highlights of this resort for us. The food and room were as expected for a place like this. Service was overall good with the concierge being standout. This is clearly a luxury resort and prices reflect that, but you get what you pay for. Prices do get quite high during the summer months, but I received good value staying in mid-May and booking through Amex FHR. I would definitely come back to Mezzatorre next time I'm back in the part of Italy.

Currently staying at Sorriso Therme in a room in the off site accommodation. It is excellent and we have a massive balcony from which we can see the main hotel and pool area. The breakfast has a great selection of continental and hot food on offer buffet style. All the staff are very helpful and speak English very well. The dinner is 4 courses which you pre order at breakfast time so dinner service is quick and efficient. We used the spa and had the spa area to ourselves which was excellent and made us feel very safe from the threat of Covid. You can hire wonderful toweling gowns for use around the pool and spa. Covid precautions are adhered to but it doesn’t spoil our enjoyment in fact it makes you feel very comfortable and safe. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and you can travel all around the island very easily I have to say reading some of the earlier reviews I can’t understand the complaints people made because our experience had been excellent

I had such a great experience at this beautiful resort. The staff took care of all my needs starting with transportation from Naples train station. Titti, the customer relations contact was amazing. She made all our dinner reservations and got us into some of the best restaurants, even on the day of. The resort grounds are beautifully landscaped and it was such a treat to stay there after a few days in crowded Rome. I will make sure I come back!

Txs paola and dario for the great time. Restaurant la cantinola was superb. Poseidon very good. And take time to explore the island with bike or scooter but be careful with the traffic. If you are in good condition go to the top of epomeo. Very nice view.

Food in the Piperna Restaurant was carefully prepared, varied and cooked with extreme attention. Swimming pool, thermal pool and Jacuzi... all perfect and fully enjoiable. An honorable mention to the breakfast served on the terrace, one of the most relaxing and appreciated moments by my family.

Situated on the homonymous promontory and surrounded by two of the most beautiful bays of the island of Ischia, Sant'Angelo and Sorgeto, the hotel Punta Chiarito Resort is n the middle of lush and thick vegetation, embellished with blooming gardens and typical aromatic Mediterranean plants. The hotel is located on several terraces with a breath-taking view and where you can have breakfast, spend pleasant and cheerful evenings or read and relax in the quietest corners, enjoying the scents of the flowers and the sea breeze
This is an incredible site and a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Upon arrival you are blown away by the view, surrounded on three sides by the sea. The service was excellent and the food for lunch in the cafe and for dinner was outstanding. We booked a superior room with half board( breakfast and dinner), and honestly I could think of no reason to go anywhere else. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort and had cocktails delivered to the warm pool or up to the roof top veranda. Dinner was elegant and romantic with exquisite service and presentation, several courses, beautiful views, and delicious red wine for a reasonable price. The cocktails and cold lunches were also fairly priced and delicious. Fresh products that they make on site are available for sale. The lemon lotion is wonderful, they could probably do a business by including a sample in the room. Breakfast was generous, with cappuccino, meats, cheeses, hard cooked eggs, lots of sweets and fresh OJ. Be aware, it is a steep 8 minute hike up from the taxi drop off and the "comfort rooms" to the pools and the main dining room and bar. It is also a steep hike down to the beach for swimming, but worth it. The pools were magical, the warm volcanic water was relaxing and we enjoyed the grotto swims. English speaking is very limited. So why four stars? Two days before we left the states, I received an email that my credit card was declined and my reservation was cancelled. This was a stress inducing moment. They had never asked for a credit card. I had to send my credit card information through unsecured email and they got back to me right away. Also, what you read and what you get are not always the same. They were pretty booked so we changed our trip dates to make sure we had a superior room which was described as being at the " upper part of the promontory with an ocean terrace view," vs. the comfort rooms on the "lower part of promontory" also with an ocean terrace view. When we arrived we were placed in a room at the bottom of the hill , adjacent to the lunch restaurant, with an ocean view. I said that we had booked a superior, not a comfort room and Luigi insisted that it was a superior room but offered to change it the next day. There were no rooms below us, so it was unclear how that was a superior room. So we changed rooms the next day and it was much easier to get to meals and back and forth from the pool. However the internet did not work in the superior room. Honestly, if Luigi had just said that they were over booked it would have been fine, instead it was a lot of unneeded stress to insist on changing and not being able to relax until we were settled in. We were still charged the price for the superior room for the three nights, but at that point I did not want to argue. The AC was not adjustable in the comfort room ( 221?) and it had a wall, so when you are sitting you cannot enjoy the view, nor is the view visible from the bed. I think we paid about $300 a night for the rooms and half board. Some of the linens were stained and the toiletries are limited. The rooms are not large and the showers are tight. The rooms were very clean. The superior room (217?) had a nice view seated outside. Massages were listed on their website at 50 E for a regular massage or for a "drainage massage". We booked appointments and we we arrived were asked to sign for 60 E for the regular massage and 70 E for the Lymphatic drainage( FYI- they were both basic light touch rub downs) Since we did not speak Italian and the provider did not speak English we signed and got our massages. I did complain to the front desk and the extra 30 E charge was removed from the bill. So some glitches. Apart from a few issues, this was a marvelous three days. The warm pools, attention to service, delicious food and wine was a wonderful escape. I highly recommend paying the extra 180 E for the round trip transfer. They picked us up at the Naples train station and dropped us back off. If you don't mind walking up the hill a few times a day, the room view is really irrelevant as there is a beautiful view from almost every part of the site and we only used our room to sleep. Even though it was one of their busiest weeks, the resort was not so crowded that you couldn't find a lounger at the pool. Although I got the impression that some locals took advantage of the pool as many arrived with helmets to the pool from their motor scooter. We loved the resort so much, we opted to not even bother to leave and explore the island. You are isolated at the top of the island and it is a steep walk down and up in the hot sun.
