Reviewed By OnAir819108I very nice hotel. Stayed in the family suite that was very spacious. Loved being able to sit at the table and play card games with my family. Breakfast was good and pool/hot tub is clean. Will defiantly stay again when we come visit.

Reviewed By bonnie kOur rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Front desk woman was friendly and helpful. This was an extremely busy time for the hotel because of EAA but the staff did a good job of taking care of everything. We had several rooms due to an anniversary party and all reservations were handled well

Diamond member and had to pay for internet access
Reviewed By barlieCorporate books my hotel rooms for me, sometimes they forget to add my Hilton Honors number and it's not an issue. Normally the front desk just attaches my account to the stay so that I don't have to pay for internet access since I have been a Diamond member for years. Yeah, apparently that wasn't gonna happen this time, no benefits whatsoever because the room hadn't been "booked" under my account. Not even going to be able to get the points. This place has become ridiculous.

In Need Of A serious deep cleaning

The hotel was sold out as were the area hotels close by due to the local county Fair also going on in addition to the popular concert. We walked into our room and immediately asked the front desk for a different room. The chair was absolutely filthy, the wallpaper was peeling, there was hair in the room fridge and overall just did not feel clean. Oh! And the bathroom sink would not drain so ya, nice to look at your spit and toothpaste in the sink! Due to lack of room availability in the area we stuck it out, the young girl at the front desk Only solution for us was to give us a blanket that we could put over the chair so at least we could sit in our room while having a few drinks before our concert. The hotel should be ashamed to let people in a room so dirty. Next time we are in town will stay at either the Fairfield, or the Holiday Inn both are right next-door to this dirty hotel. Yuck!

HORRIBLE Mattresses, rude owner, bad customer service, no upgrades, terrible breakfast
Reviewed By ecotaitDhvani was at the front desk when I arrived. She did not acknowledge my Titanium status and did not offer a welcome gift (standard with my level of status). Instead, she seemed annoyed that I had changed my reservation dates a few days before arrival. When I asked if a King room was available (instead of the 2 queens I had booked), she said there were King rooms available, but that I would need to pay her more money for a King room (as a Titanium guest I have NEVER been denied a move to an available (and basically equivalent) room. She was cold, rude and made it clear she only cares about the bottom line (money). Side note: The hotel was nowhere near fully booked, maybe half occupancy, so it would have cost her nothing to accommodate my request. When I first stayed at this hotel (April 2021), the mattress was already sinking and it was a brand new hotel. The same mattresses are now completely sunken, HORRIBLE for the back and hips. My aunt had the same issue in her room. The mattresses are cheap, very lightweight and terrible to sleep on. They are not sweet sleepers - in all my visits to Marriott properties all over the US and the world, these were the WORST MATTRESSES I have ever encountered. In addition, the floors are thin, so the rooms get noisy. I cancelled my upcoming stay in March at this property and moved to a different property. Three of my family members (coming into Fond du Lac this week) will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express, on my advice. When I went to the breakfast room at 8am (all days), they did not have waffles or oatmeal (although the sides for oatmeal were there, the only available oatmeal was in instant disposable containers). There was no bread -- just a couple of individually wrapped bagels. There was one hot sandwich - no eggs or breakfast meat were available. The AC is set to go down to "66" degrees in the rooms. However, because my room remained hot (despite being set to 66 degrees the entire stay), I used an external temperature check and found it never dropped below 72 degrees (and it was February) - beware summer stays here. This is a common practice at hotels (i.e., adjusting the AC so it says it is cooler than it actually is) -- but I wanted to note it for those that care about actually having AC that works properly.
