I wouldn't recommend staying here. They add charges to your credit card without explanation and then don't answer phones or emails when you try to enquire about those charges. As far as I'm concerned this company are thieves.

A car-free resort which blends in perfectly with the surrounding countryside. Luxury residence with an easy access to the slopes "Top of the range", spacious and comfortable apartments.
This was our first time skiing so picked the hotel as it’s looked family friendly. The accommodation was clean and tidy and the apartments well equipped. We were a little disappointed with the hotel as it was a 5* but didn’t offer any cleaning, bed linen or towel change during our stay. We also asked for a couple of extra bits for the room which neither the bar or reception would provide. The staff were generally very friendly and the public area’s kept tidy. The grocery delivery in reception is a great idea. The bus stops right outside the hotel in both directions so very handy for varying your ski equipment to the ski school but as we didn’t use the ski in ski out facilities it was much easier to leave our ski’s and boots at Patrick’s ski lockers right near the lifts any ski school. Generally a nice hotel but a little disappointing for a 5*

For what we want from a skiing holiday this fitted the bill almost perfectly. It’s location on the slopes makes the mornings stress free and provides an opportunity for a lunchtime break. The property would benefit from proper ski lockers, with heated boot holders. The pool is a little cold and a little small, and the apartments are starting to feel a little tired. However if we make it back to Flaine I would happily stay again

Excellent hotel staff helpful food quality very good location great. Apartment for 6 was well equipped and very comfortable. Spa area was really lovely. Cleanliness of the room could have been a little better but the rest of the hotel was immaculate.

Pedestrian resort perfectly integrated into the landscape. A residence "on the slopes" & "Heart Station". Spacious apartments, comfortable and renovated.
Great value accommodation for a family of 4 in the heart of Flaine and 200m from the main lifts to hit the Grand Massif. Each apartment gets a locker for storing skis and boots. The rooms are basic but great value and comfortable fit a family of 4. If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star stay, this is not the place, however if you want decent accommodation close to the slopes, this will do the job.

Enjoy the simple and modern comfort of the residence Les Terrasses de Véret***. The apartments are spacious: a compact but fully equipped kitchen, with hotplates, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge and dishwasher; with a dining area, living room, balcony or terrace opening onto the resort. After a long day on the slopes, back to Les Grands Vans, you will only take a few steps to find the residence Les Terrasses de Véret, and enjoy the swimming pool (the only residence to offer a swimming pool in Flaine). Comfortably installed in the outdoor jacuzzi, you will only have to admire the panorama of the surrounding mountains. If you prefer to stay dry, you will be able to connect to the wifi (extra charge), near the fireplace, in a warm atmosphere. A ski room and an outdoor terrace complete the list of facilities on offer.
I write this review with a heavy heart. Les Terrasses de Veret is in a prime location not just for Flaine but for the Alps. It’s at 1700m and snow safe. The Grand Massif area in which it lies offers close to 300km of Piste. There is an 8 man chair (Grand Vans) 100m from the building and the residence has a nice swimming pool, Sauna and a Jacuzzi outside on a deck. The beginners area is also 100m away, yet there are plenty of challenging runs for advanced skiers too. The views from the upper floors are to die for. So...what’s the catch? The furnishings are dreadful. In the lounge / diner / kitchen the sofa bed, armchairs and coffee table are massive. You don’t expect huge apartments in prime ski locations, but the size of these furnishings makes them almost claustrophobic. If you book a 2 bed apartment hoping to sleep 6 (i.e. using the sofa bed) make sure you bring a mechanical engineer with you to set up the bed each night - not simple at all. Also if you like sleep of any description you have a double whammy. The curtains are wafer thin (and covered in nasty stains) so if your room is south facing you will be illuminated all night by the streetlights. Then there are the mattresses...I am not big 5 feet 6 inches tall and 11 stone - I did not get a wink of sleep for three nights at which point I moved to the lounge and slept in an armchair. The mattresses are DREADFUL and would barely support a small child it’s a bit like sleeping on a cardboard box. The staff are lovely and do all they can but I am sure they are inundated with complaints related to the furniture. This should be somewhere people come back to year after year but it is not and it has to be down to lack of investment by the operators. Such a shame.

The residence CGH Le Centaure is situated in the center of Flaine. It is a ski-in ski-out building, in which you will find one 25m long swimming pool, one paddling pool - both pools are stainless steel -, two saunas, two steam rooms, and two jacuzzis. Above the aquatic area, you will find a fitness room as well as two S.P.A. cabins. Thanks to it's central position, Le Centaure will allow you to make the most of all the facilities that Flaine offres all year round. Everything is less than 5 minutes walk away : cinema, nursery, supermarket, restaurents and tourist office. All rooms having at least one south view, the building is always warm and sunny.
Our fourth visit. As ever great staff - Manager, reception, cleaners et al - and as good as one gets in a ski resort apartment. Close to ski hire shops, a fairly priced, well stocked supermarket, restaurants and cafes on the forum. Ski-in, ski out. Well provisioned kitchen. Only downside is that WiFi still needs sorting!

We stayed at the hotel for one week on the 5th February. On arrival they take all your details and your debit/credit card details as security incase there is any damage to the room. We are a couple approaching 60yrs old so would certainly not be causing any damage to the room. On our return home I checked my bank statement and they had taken €300 with out any authorisation. I sent an email asking why they had done this as I was very upset. However they accused us of taking bed covers. Well we certainly did not take any Linen and emailed them immediately. I explained that we could not possibly fit linen in our cases as we were travelling by plane and perhaps they got the room numbers/guests muddled up. I asked for them to return the money ASAP. At present they have not replied or returned my money and I last emailed them on the 3rd March. Please be very careful when going to this hotel as it appears there maybe a scam going

The hotel is situated on a red and green run with easy access to the lifts. It was well appointed with a spa - a jacuzzi and sauna were free to use at the end of the day. Rooms were comfortable with excellent showers and comfy beds. Food was good and reasonably priced - we watched the rugby there and were well looked after. Breakfasts were tasty although it would have been great if we could have ordered an omelet for a change - coffee was superb and no additional charge. Of particular note was the team who looked after us - special mention to Paul and Ricky who looked after us very well - welcome and pleasant members of the team. (There was also a lovely young lady at breakfast and who cleaned our rooms but can’t recall their names !) They offer a shuttle run into town which is good fun and free and Ricky is very accommodating with drop off and collections - if you want to come back later, it’s a ten minute walk from town. Only slight grumble - carpets in the breakfast area could do with hoovering daily. Be aware that piste bashers bash the piste early in the morning and this was right outside room 1 and 2 - it woke us up each day but it wasnt a deal breaker.

The comfortable and modern apartments at Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Grand Massif offer stunning views of the snowy mountains. The accommodation is spacious and contains all modern conveniences, so everyone will feel at home immediately. All the apartments at Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Grand Massif have an alpine décor and LCD TVs, and are perfectly equipped to ensure that you get a proper welcome.
Do not book this resort. We had booked in good faith from the uk. Unfortunately France shut its borders and we couldn’t travel. This resort has behaved in a disgusting manner. Trying to make us rebook at a higher price, refusing a refund and generally trying to capitalise on covid. Please think twice and book an alternative resort. This wasn’t just our experience, we had family booked at the same time Absolutely disgusting behaviour
