We came to the hotel obviously no one was here, so we had to call the reception to get our key, for the lady to come it took about an hour, she had to prepare the room cause it wasn't cleaned and ready. And this is what the luxury is: a shoe box, a rusty bed and a bathroom the size of my pocket. No need to say we didn't stay there. We had someone one the phone saying there are some photos of the room so we can't complain. Of the 115 photos on Expedia, there is only one photo of the room and it's of the window. False advertising at its best! The manager didn't even have the decency to speak to us. Worth experience ever. Was a rip off ! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Lotza studios are located in the picturesque village of Finikia, on the north western side of the island, a 15 minute walk away from the center of Oia, the world-renowned for its views of the Santorini sunset. White houses with low doors, rounded roof, arched passages and its horizontal lines, Finikia is a delightful calm contrast to the wild of the Caldera side. In Finikia you will also find some traditional Cycladic churches and many cave houses that the island is renowned for. Our houses have been built in accordance to the traditional Santorinian architecture. It is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated in warm shades and features one or two double bedrooms, small living room with fully equipped kitchenette, one bathroom with shower, hair dryer, refrigerator coffee maker, toaster, TV and Free Internet. Each house sleeps between 2 and 4 people and is serviced every day. Our guests enjoy views over the Aegean Sea and the garden from their private or shared verandas. Additionally all our guests have access to our main small swimming pool and the outdoor Jacuzzi (not heated). The nearest restaurant is at 20 metres, the nearest super market and rentals are at 100 metres and the nearest beach is at 1.5 kilometers from our settlement. Lotza is walking distance from the center of Oia (15 minutes) that offers a range of shops, galleries restaurants and travel agencies. Medical center, pharmacy, car and bike hire and spas can be find in Oia. There are 2 ATM machine, taxis and a public bus between the village and the main town of Fira (14 kilometers). We do have concierge service now available at Lotza.

Reviewed By Anastasia5222The flat is as seen on the pictures, just perfect ! It is located just 10 min walk from Oia. Kitchen ans bathroom has everything you need. Our host Vasilis was very helpfull. He had the best recommendations for restaurants in town and we could just text him if we needed anything. Thanks again for making our stay in Santorini perfect.

Reviewed By Daydream33012810455酒店不是伊亚是一个叫finikia的地方，我们在伊亚巴士下车后发现酒店离伊亚镇很远，2公里直线距离，我们给酒店打电话问有没有车接我们，酒店说可以打车也可以做巴士，找了很久texi找不到，巴士也不知道那班车可以到，于是我们就决定走过去，我们拎着两个大行李箱出发了，因为路很烂，很多路不能拖着行李走，要把行李扛起来，就这样我们走走歇歇加办入住花费了一个多小时时间，一路暴晒几乎没有阴凉，内裤都湿透了，从住的这里走到伊亚中心需要30分钟，走到可以看到汽车的公路上就需要十分钟的时间，这里虽然可以看日出，但这不是伊亚的日出，我们入住的这两天设施和服务都还不错，每天早餐送到门口，还送了一瓶白葡萄酒，可是一想到退房后还要回去，就没办法平静下来了。这样的房间还需要2500RMB一晚，真不知道定房价的人哪里来的勇气。

WORST EXPERIENCE

To sum it up: - The jacuzzi is not usable because its not heathed, so when you get in its not a pleasure but a torture because of the temperature (considering we are in august i can only imagine how it is in june or september) - There is a reason why the photos of the bathroom have not been uploaded. The bathroom is incredibly small and very dark, with only a small light. - The wifi is extremely slow and basically it doesn’t work from the bed or bathroom (we also didn’t have any connection from the normal network, so we had to go to the front door to have any possibilty to use internet) - the breakfast is simply a joke. the products are not fresh. we have received a basket with some bread, 1 slice of cheese - industrial one, which is a shame considering the great fresh cheeses of Greece - and ham wrapped in plastic wrap and industrial jams and honey. we asked for scrambled eggs and we have received 2 raw eggs that we had to cook ourself. Travelling around Greece we had the opportunity to meet lovely, caring and kind hosts all around this beautiful country. They have provided us with a map with suggestions, gifted us with fresh fruits or a bottle of wine and have always been attentive to our needs. This is the only Airbnb where we have NOT felt welcomed and when we have expressed our dissapointments to our host we did not even get a reply. Do yourself a favour and dont book this accomodation, its plenty of other better options.

Had a lovely stay
Reviewed By davino71We recently stayed here for seven nights and we loved it. There were six of us and we had three lovely apartments with balconies. The location is excellent between to hustle and bustle of Oia and the old village charm of Finikia. Irini was a wonderful host and very helpful. She was ably assisted by Penny who was so friendly and always had a smile for everyone. Everything was perfect, the pool, the breakfast, the room cleaning, value for money etc. If we ever go back to Oia we'll definitely stay here again.

A lovely hotel outside Oia
Reviewed By SamD1991We loved our stay at the Sophia boutique hotel. The plunge pool was perfect and the views are incredible. The breakfast was delicious(particularly the omelettes, pancakes and orange lemon juice) and we loved the flexibility of being able to order to our room, our plunge pool or the main pool area. The hotel is a 15/20 min walk to Oia 30/35mins if headed to somewhere the far end of Oia - this was perfect for us as it was nice to get away from the busyness and to not be over looked. So why not score higher? At the price €400+ a night we think there are a couple of things the hotel could have done better: -Our safe wasn’t working, we reported this to reception and a member of staff came and explained. We tried again and it still didn’t work so called reception again. The manager attended and couldn’t get it to work, said he’d return with the key so we could still use the safe. He never returned. -There was a kettle in the room but no coffee and only earl grey and a fruit tea available. Would have appreciated some breakfast tea and milk so we could have a drink before breakfast. -On our last night after arriving back from dinner and relaxing ahead of going to bed we received a call asking us to come to reception before midnight to settle our bill. I’d been in to reception earlier in the day to arrange our transfers so it seemed strange to now be asked to settle our bill(which was only for transfers and a few waters)when usually this would be done at check out. The last thing worth saying is the bedroom was lovely, modern but also compact - there was limited space to unpack. We stayed 3 nights, we would have struggled staying much longer.

Reviewed By annatJ428LZA great place to stay. This is a short walk (15mins) from the hustle and bustle of Oia, providing a peaceful stay but with very easy access to everything that Oia has to offer. The rooms are very spacious, which a simple and authentic Cycladic style. We had a deluxe room which had a very large private terrace, offering great views. There are a handful of excellent restaurants very close by also. They offer a great breakfast which is served to your room/ terrace. Would recommend and revisit.

Traditional SANTORINI vacation away from masses. Just 1.5 kms from the famous Oia, with the indescribable view of the largest volcanic caldera in the world, the small village of Foinikia, inhabited mostly by locals, remains in ancient times, before the tourist rush. The villagers with their donkeys, farm laborers and women who talk to their white houses, form a unique atmosphere. Studios Heliophos, in the heart of the village, has been renovated with great respect for rural life, and offers holiday really very quiet, apart from the crowds of tourists, but not far from the commercial and tourist center of Oia or surrounding sandy beaches at 3 kms (Note that inside the volcanic caldera of Santorini no beaches, which are only found around the island). Location: The village Foinikia is 1.5 km from OIA and caldera of Santorini, 15 km from the airport. At 100 meters there is free parking, local bus stop agency and rental cars and motorbikes. Rooms: Each studio decorated with taste, has its own veranda with view, Satellite TV, CD player and radio and are air - conditioned. Wi-Fi Internet. The kitchen is equipped (Coffee maker, toaster, electric plates-fridge), always full of required for complete breakfast included in the price (milk-coffee-orange juice-butter-buns-jam). Possibility of use the large terrace and large communal kitchen, washing machine, dryer and linen included. Bathrooms: private bath with shower, hair dryer, hot water.
Excellent value for your money

Pros: - Clean and very spacious rooms - Beds are extremely comfortable - The breakfast is lovely & fresh - Close to the centre of Oia - Owners are extremely helpful & friendly - Outside area is picturesque and has stunning views - A lovely selection of restaurants nearby - Bus rout and transport to other areas is close by Cons: - WiFi didn’t seem to work very well at times - Hot water seemed to run out very quickly Only a couple of small things to tweak, but really cannot complain for the money we paid and the level of quality we got. Would stay here again anytime!
