Our small Agriturismo offer two apartments for our guests, each with an independent entrance and a porch under which you can have meals or read a book. Frallarenza is a peaceful and quiet place in the middle of the Orvieto coutryside. Our family, Francesco, Serena, our son Giorgio, our 5 cats and 2 lovely dogs, live in an apartment in the farmhouse: we'll be at home to welcome you! And of course we are happy to help you for any need, information or just for a nice conversation. The farmhouse is surrounded by an expansive garden with a swimming pool (12x5 meters), a ping pong table, a brick barbecue with a picnic table. The Small Apartment (50 sq.m.) consists of a kitchen-living room with 2 single sofa bed, a double bedroom and a large bathroom. The Large Apartment (106 sq.m.) consists of a large kitchen-living room, 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each apartment has a washing machine, LCD TV and a Free Wireless Internet Connection. We organize cooking classes and dinner on request.

Reviewed By 708msWe stayed here for 4 nights in May. We have been to Italy multiple times over the years. this is one of the best stays we have had. When we arrived at 6pm to this beautiful spot, we were greeted with smiles after 9 hours of travel. Even better, an offer of baked zucchini pasta for dinner. The Piccolo apartment is plenty big for 2 people with full kitchen, fireplace, large bath, washing machine and stocked pantry. For the environmentally conscious, know that they produce all their own power with solar energy, use no gas, new kitchen with induction stove, etc. The farm is surrounded by grapes and olives and they produce their own organic olive oil. It is a beautiful 20 min drive to Orvieto, and much else to explore in the area. We can’t wait to come back. Even better, when I asked to buy some eggs for breakfast, they brought us a bunch of fresh eggs from their chickens. And then brought dinner again two nights later. It was perfect.

Reviewed By EdwarfWhen you arrive at a vineyard and realise that is the middle of the picking season you would excuse the staff from being able to give you their full attention. But when we arrived at this stunning vineyard we were welcomed by the owner of the estate who had just arrived with a trailer full of grapes to be pressed. Between each collection of the next trailer he managed to introduce the next wine for our degustation. We were suitably impressed. Wonderful wines. Wonderful location wonderful people and we are taking back a couple of cases to keep the memories fresh in our minds. I imagine that their restaurant is equally as impressive sadly we couldn’t stay any longer

Pleasant and harmonious place, surrounded by woods, olive groves and fields. This is an organic farm with animals as donkeys, chickens, pigeons, cats and dogs. It’s equipped with renewable energy system and we produce vegetables, fruits, spelt, olive oil and honey. For our guests there are 4 spacious apartments for couples, families or groups. Each apartment has private outdoor spaces. In the cozy restaurant with fireplace, you can taste new and ancient flavors with a simple and genuine cuisine that use also our products. About the services, a salt-water pool without chlorine, with telescopic cover for the bath in the middle seasons; an ecological sauna in a cave in the woods; a pond with fish; green areas with ornamental stones, play ground for kids, beautiful paths in the wood for walks.

Reviewed By wesman12018Had a great weekend at Walden. We're expats in Rome who took our visiting parents there for the weekend. Our 3 year old son loved the wildlife (friendly cats and dogs) and surrounding environment. But best of all, he loved the swimming pool. It was covered with a greenhouse like glass dome which kept the warm air in and the wind, cold air and debris out! There was plenty of toys to play with that he had fun with. Since the owners have a small child themselves, they understand the specific needs of families with small kids and were extremely accommodating and thoughtful. They provided some fresh greens from the garden and was sure to also provide some washing solution so that the lettuce would be completely safe for my child and pregnant wife. They made sure dinner started at 7pm sharp because they know that small kids need to sleep after a long day in the pool! My visiting parents also loved the environment, comfortable apartment (Rosaspina) and great food and service. There was homemade beer and very fresh food. The apartment had a bunk bed in one room for smaller children and a very high up loft in the living room that older kids would adore. They provided a very nice baby cot with linens and a pillow for our son. We requested advice on what to do around there and they helped us so much. They let us know about a flower festival for mother's day in the nearby charming town of Ficulle that was an incredible experience. They also arranged a wine tour at Vitalonga which was just 3km from the farm. We highly recommend Walden for anyone visiting Umbria or expatriates in Italy looking for a good place to escape for the weekend with themselves or visitors.

Reviewed By johnfA8831WNRun down property, but in a beautiful and remote location. I do not recommend staying here unless you are prepared to lower your standards. The 6km rocky dirt road is in poor condition so you feel trapped here, but the half-board meals offered are overpriced and low quality so you are forced to leave if you want to get cell phone service and better food. It was difficult to cook due to missing dishes, cups,etc. You would have to look long and hard to find a more poorly maintained resort.

Beautiful and quiet apartment in Umbria
Reviewed By Martin CBeautiful location up in the hills of Umbria. Really nice host, who provides you with fresh vegetables from own garden. Nice cosy apartment, everything you need. Nice private terrace to have breakfast in the morning. Beautiful swimming pool. All very quiet and private. Orvieto is a beautiful town nearby. From Parzalla you can also visit several towns in Toscany. We stayed here twice and we'll come back!
