Nice hotel on the edge of the village. The room was reasonably sized with a safe but no refrigerator. The room was very dark even with all of the lights turned on. Very few electric outlets so bring an extension cord with multiple outlets. The room had a "window" in the slanted roof with a shade that could be opened. The room air conditioning worked well. An irritating feature is the automatic lighting in the bathroom that is VERY bright, a problem for a night time bathroom visit. Quirks aside we had a nice stay. The bar is very reasonably priced and the restaurant provides very good food at a reasonable price.

Very friendly, helpful and communicative staff, rooms basic but nice and clean, a good base for anyone going to Arribes del Duero national park, perfect location, a few metres away from the main square, where I would recommend to eat at Siglo XXI restaurant.

A house in the middle of Fermoselle, close to the city center and close to restaurant Espanha, e very good place to have you're dinner. Although the landlady does not speak a word english, she makes you feel very welcome, ask for here son he speaks english. The house is big enough for 4 couples, clean rooms,etc/ Some dishes on the sink .... who cares, everything was very clean

Very enjoyable stay at this hotel right in the centre, next to the Iglesia and grocer. There was a large event on in the square next to the hotel during our stay which made it interesting but noise did not intrude into the room with double glazed windows. Quaint rooms with balcony and nice bathroom, wifi was non-existent, tv had variety but not in English. Fast check in (if no one is at reception then got to the bar) and friendly staff. Elevator access. The only thing is that you need to park in the street away from the hotel if you have a car but it's an easy walk.

Hacienda Zorita Duero Valley, Arribes del Duero. Duero Valley. Spain. Ten spectacular rooms surrounded by our own vineyards in the heart of a Natural Park. The Duero Canyon is the natural boundary between Spain and Portugal. This area, located in the far west of Spain, was first discovered in 1898 by the famous writer and traveler Miguel de Unamuno, author of the famous poem “Durius, Duero, Douro” and the book “Los Arribes del Duero –notas de un viaje por la raya de Portugal-“ (The Duero Arribes –notes from a journey along the line of Portugal-).Today, the two natural reserves located one on each side of the river’s banks – Parque Natural de Arribes del Duero and Parque Natural Douro International- make this one of the largest protected natural areas in Europe. In the park you can find the endangered black stork. In fact, it is one of the best places for bird watching (vultures, eagles, etc.) while navigating along the calm river waters between the 600 m stone walls of the Duero Canyon.
Fantastic venue with superb dining & own produced wine. Close to Douro River for cruises & Salamanca walled city. The in room wine cellar was a great surprise and we rose to the challenge. The Olive Oil tasting was unusual but surprisingly informative

The room is well furnished - beautiful wood paneling, comfortable furniture, good-sized, and clean. The room deserves 5 stars. Everything else was awful. The hotel did not reach me by email or phone before the day of check-in to tell me that NO ONE was going to be at the hotel to let me in. Once I reached the hotel, I had to find the sign (in Spanish) with a telephone number to call. As a foreign traveler I did not have telephone service but *luckily I tried adding the number on WhatsApp and could contact them through WiFi. Almost everything about the hotel is self-service. Even though they require you to text them your passport photo page (are there any privacy protections??), they still require YOU to fill in your own personal information on a website to check in (is this because the staff doesn't care/is lazy?). YOU figure out how the place works. YOU actually pay the hotel by YOU using the credit card machine to swipe your card. The hotel staff doesn't even tell you how much you owe (YOU calculate it yourself). YOU put the dishes into the dishwashing machine. Breakfast is really basic of bread, butter, jam, and coffee - supermarket, factory-made products. What's more, there are video cameras in the common spaces monitoring you, since there's no staff on the premises. During my two-night stay, I did not meet any hotel staff EVER. The whole experience was impersonal, robotic, and unfriendly. I've stayed at dozens of rural hotels and casas rurales (B&Bs) in the Spanish countryside in the last 20 years and was shocked by the non-existence of service at this hotel.
