Our hotel, Weisses Kreuz in Feldkirch, has been family owned since 1852, and is especially characterised by its amiability and genuine hospitality. Our room categories are - Panorama - with a perfect view of the mountains, made exclusively of natural materials and manufactured locally, large bathroom with large showers, big flatscreen TVs, and perfect for relaxing. Superior - the new standard of the hotel rooms, made by local craftsmen with local materials, large showers, flatscreen Tvs, and modern living. Classic - large room with a flatscreen TV, very high quality at a low price. Our guests consist mostly of business and group travellers. Therefore we have the perfect wi-fi network throughout the entire hotel - free of charge, of course - a breakfast buffet, with doors already open at 6:30 AM, and many excursion ideas for your stay. We offer a small menu with Austrian specialities in our bar / Hausle parlour - and in good weather, also on our terrace. Awarded with the EU Ecolabel and the Austrian Ecolabel. Sauna free of charge.

The hotel was very clean and modern, all the staff were friendly and polite (shout out to Goran and his wife). Food was mainly on a meat based menu, but they do cater for non meat eaters if required, the breakfast choices are excellent. They have several beers most of which are very good but the wheat beer is one for the "real ale" people, (not to our taste). Our room (201) was warm and spacious with a wonderful view of the snow capped mountains. Thanks to all.

The family-run Hotel Baren is just a 2-minute walk away from the historic centre of Feldkirch, and 400 metres for the main train station. Nice hotel in the centre of Feldkirk
Reviewed By Rosario_itThe building is quite attractive as it is the decoration. The location is perfect to visit. The hotel is centrally located and the railways station is at just 10 minutes walking. I arrived from Liechtenstein and the bus stop is at just some metres from the hotel. The breakfast is good with some local products. The room is quite old-fashioned but quite comfortable.

Standard BW hotel with a bad service
Reviewed By bjorne393The hotel itself has a good location really close to the city center. Easy to access by car and offers parking space in a garage for about 10 euro per night. The hotel accept pets. The hotel has Sauna and a pool (closed due to Covid). The rooms and its standard is exactly what you expect from a BW. But hair in the shower and on the "clean" towels is a drawback. In the rooms you will find a tablet which can be used to browse the hotel information. And now the problems appears. On two different places on the tablet the breakfast timings differs (0630-0930/0630-1030) . I missed the breakfast both mornings due to this and to the rude waiter at the buffet. The reception was not able to give me any alternate breakfast restaurant suggestions. But I located a good one by my own. All in all, an okay hotel, but with a poor service (front desk and breakfast buffet).

Too expensive for quality offered
Reviewed By WorldnobordersWe stayed for one night in this hotel, because it was located ideally and promised to have taken extra Covid sanitary measures. The room was very large and beautiful at first sight, but we realized only at night that the shutters didn't work and with bright street lights shining in, it made sleep difficult, not helped by at least 15 mosquitos in the room as well. The bed duvets had a very strong smell so that we had to take them away, which was ok given it was extremely hot in the room and there was no air-conditioning. The next day we discovered that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, finding a big bundle of hair under the bin, and dirt on the floor, which is even more disappointing after being told the rooms were cleaned in line with sanitary measures due to the coronavirus. The hotel could definitely do with a deeper clean, including the floor in its hallway, which showed people's foot prints. Extremely disappointed after having read lots of good reviews and choosing the place for this reason. The price we had to pay for the night was totally unacceptable under these conditions.

Comfortable, clean and good value for money
Reviewed By EisgrundStayed in this Motel for 2 nights in a large and very clean room with 2 single beds. Bathroom was well equipped and the shower was very good. As noted by other guests breakfast is served in the cafe attached to the hotel. They bake all the bread and cakes on site but eggs, cheese, ham and others are also available along with good coffee and orange juice. Staff are very welcoming and helpful so my overall experience was very positive and will return again if in the area.

Reviewed By FunexploeA wonderful stay at Hotel Garni Novel. This is a small hotel where you immediately feel comfortable. The staff are all welcoming and very helpful. The entire hotel is spotless. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast includes eggs and bacon along with fruit, cold cuts, cheese etc. There is a small garden with outdoor seating and an indoor lounge. The Rusticana restaurant - a 5 minute walk - is the place to go for dinner. Great value and a warm welcoming small hotel.

Reviewed By A245SThe worst hotel I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and don't go there. Rooms and hallways smell like cigarette, tiny bathroom. The worst service I've ever experienced, staff is highly unwelcoming, don't bother to make their guest comfortable. I'll never come back.
