The Entrada Escalante Lodge is located in the heart of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument in southern Utah. We are a boutique lodge in Escalante. We provide guests with a base for their outdoor adventures in the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument. We are located 65 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park.
Stayed 3 nights on our tour of Utah & beyond. Everything worked as advised, from arrival with door cards in little bags, to the invoice for signing & leaving - it was an lovely oasis in a desert. We’d booked a room which allowed pets, although we didn’t have one, so we moved the dog bowls, treats and cushion away. Good AC, Wi-Fi and the room was large enough to relax in, and a good walk in shower. Again, as we’ve found elsewhere, just 1 sink for cleaning after the bathroom, washing and cleaning plates mugs etc - not in my opinion ideal. Some very thoughtful add on’s such as dental floss sticks & ear buds plus an “ouch pouch” with plasters in. There were also a nice selection of snacks too. Out back was a small seating area which faced out towards the distance “staircase”, which in the evening was lovely, eating Georgie’s Mexican meals washed down with cold beer. I know that there are positive comments about the coffee, I found it all a bit irritating as I never got it strong enough and then having to sort out the grounds afterwards. Nice to have, but I would have rather had instant or a brew pot. Didn’t have any contact with any staff other than a friendly “hello” for the duration. Would I recommend and return? Yes.

We offer varying sizes of RV Sites with 30 & 50 amp electrical, water and sewer hookups. We have Deluxe and Basic Cabins, as well as Tent Sites. All guests have access to WiFi, hot showers, and the laundry facility. Friendly management and staff. Come enjoy the endless adventure opportunities within the National Parks and Monuments that surround our beautiful area.
The staff was very helpful, the restroom common areas were immaculate. We stayed on a Sunday night in 2 of the cabins, the grounds were very quiet at night. We were the only group to use fire pits, felt like we should be more quiet due to the proximity of the tents. The price is very reasonable. Would stay here again, just know that it’s probably not a place you want to be rambunctious at.

This was our first time in Escalante, Utah and we were looking for a comfortable place to end each day after hiking in the area. The lobby is beautiful and we were greeted by the owner along with cookies in the lobby. Our room was more than I expected, including a large flat screen tv, feathery and cozy bed and well appointed bathroom. Breakfast is included and provided the standard breakfast items. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and laundry room are the extra touches that make it family friendly.

We stayed one night in the Casita, a detached building near the inn. The Casita was perfect for two and well supplied. The shower was outstanding. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. Fresh food prepared well and served by two nice women. I recommend the Slot Canyons Inn.

I had a wonderful experience at the Circle D Motel. The accommodations are modest but clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! Cody immediately made me feel welcomed. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and welcomed at this motel. The staff even helped me to set up a fire one evening and it was a wonderful way to relax with other travelers in the evening. The front office and rooms have tons of information about things to do in the area. While I did not have a chance to dine at the restaurant next door, it is very convenient to have a place so close.

Really wish we could've stayed more than one night. The kids thought this was the best place we stayed during our trip (Bryce, Capitol Reef, and Escalante). The hospitality by Jan was amazing both before (answering questions) and during (answering more questions) our stay. We stayed in April 2022, and it was super super windy during our night there. We were a little worried since they're yurts, but they were sturdy. It just sounded like we were staying on a pirate ship, with the sails flapping throughout the night. The breakfast burritos and muffins were amazing, and they had really good dinner recommendations. Overall, a great experience.

This was quite a pleasant one-night stay. The cabin was clean and cute. The air conditioning worked well and we were comfortable. I always look for and appreciate lodging with at least a mini fridge and microwave and this cabin had both. During Covid, social distancing is important to me and I was very happy that I was offered a contactless check-in if I wanted it. The contactless breakfast basket waiting for us in the cabin when we checked in was also a nice touch, a variety of packaged items including but not limited to some very tasty pastries. We also had a tent site because we were traveling with our dog and she was not allowed inside the cabin. Having to split our family up so that someone had to pitch a tent and sleep with the dog and having to take turns staying outside with her was a bit of a pain, but this was something I knew about and agreed to ahead of time so that's on me. They do offer pet friendly cabins, as well, but those don't have their own bathroom. Especially during Covid, it is important to me to have a private bath so this was the only way we could accomplish that and still be able to bring the dog, which was a big part of why we chose the Escalante area in the first place....more trails that are dog friendly than places like the national parks in Southern Utah. We would have stayed longer if we'd been able to bring the dog inside the cabin with us. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to offer some pet friendly cabins that do have their own private bathrooms. Everything else worked great for us. I'd stay again, especially if not bringing the dog.

One of our all-time favorite AirBnB stays ever! My husband and I stayed here on a week-long trip through the Utah national parks, and LOVED our time here. We’ll remember watching the sunset from the front porch of our cabin, taking hot showers underneath the desert sky, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit next to our cabin for a long time. The level of service from the staff at Yonder was outstanding; they consistently went above and beyond, even offering to come to our cabin to help us start a fire during our stay. And the property had thought of every detail – from the lantern, matches, and firestarters in our cabin, to the heaters in the outdoor showers, to the fire going in the lounge area in the morning. Yonder is a very special place. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, stop scrolling and book it now!

The Tiny House Escape was much more than I expected it to be. I spent eight nights there. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The house was clean, and everything was in good working order. Colors and fabrics created a warm atmosphere. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Loved all the daylight that filled the spaces. I spent much time on the deck and enjoyed the quiet of the area. My friend stayed in the a House next to mine, and we conveniently shared meals together. The owner was incredible responsive and helped me with a logistics issue. I highly recommend the Tiny House Escapes and look forward to another visit
