Just spent 4 nights at the Crowded House as part of a trip to visit the war graves/locations from the fist world war. (Peninsula) The place is cheap so expect no thrills, The Double room I had was ok but was in need of a little TLC, Its was really small but did the job. Hot water was a battle, you were lucky if you got any. You had to make sure you was one of the first up in the morning to have any chance of hot water. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Location is good with shops and restaurants within arms reach and the ferry straight across the road. The Hotel (Hostel) does the job as a base for the Battle Field Tours.

The 21 rooms and suites named after noble grape varieties feature comforting amenities for your body and soul. Ranging from 40 sqm to 100 sqm. Experience understated luxury through the sleek harmony of natural stone and wood in our rooms designed each in their own unique style.
This place was incredible! Our rooms were outstanding with a balcony and a view. It is a winery so each room is named after a wine/grape variety. The restaurant was amazing, delicious and the service second to none. We also had Thai Massages in the spa when we were there, which were fabulous! The wine they make is very drinkable, and their own olive oil and home produced Haloumi were to die for. I would go back in a heartbeat. Very off the beaten track, so nothing to walk to, but you don't need it! We used this as a base for visiting the memorials from the battles of Gallipoli, it was one of the most wonderful trips we have ever taken. AND THE BREAKFAST! You didn't need to eat again all day! However, there was a lovely lunch menu available too, with plenty of lovely places to sit and eat.

On arrival. Payment asked for upfront. Not normal pratice in Turkey. Room was poorly set out and cramped Lack of toiletries and cables hanging from ceiling. No staff around or available throughout our stay Breakfast we were informed 8.00am. No one there at set time and no food.Waited 30 mins then woman appeared we finally got somthing little to eat after waiting 40 mins. The butter was rank and choice of food very limited and looked old and unappetizing.Food from previous day? I suspect? Left hungry and very unhappy with rooms and service. No one at reception thorouhout our stay or on departure. Left room key on reception desk. No help from anyone to assist with baggage or to help one of our party who is disabled. Never stay there again. One of the worsed hotels I have stayed in in my 31 years of travelling in Turkey and staying in hotels. This place is the pits

TJs HOTEL & TOURS run by a Turkish/Australian couple who are experienced tour operators. Both management and guides have a long running reputation for being the Gallipoli tour specialists, having run daily Gallipoli tours to the ANZAC site for over since 1990. TJs is the closest Hotel to the Gallipoli battlefields located in the town of Eceabat, just 8km from the ANZAC site.
Spent night in this hotel after long trip (with my family). It was much better than we expected. Great stuff (very helpful) and very kind owner. Great location (close to ferry), easy to find, provided parking. Room clean, comfortable. Breakfast was good (offered local meals I did not tried before), very fresh. All in all, great experience, so me and my family was sorry because we did not have more time to spend there. My recommendation....

I stayed here recently while taking part on a Peter Harte Battlefield tour of Gallipoli. It was a very convenient base with the bonus of a beach in the hotel grounds . Our twin room had limited floor space but the beds were comfortable and sufficient storage space to unpack clothes . The air conditioning was efficient . The bathroom was a reasonable size with a good shower and plenty of hot water . There was good outdoor seating close to the bar and a beach bar overlooking the beach and sea which was great .. The beach was sandy but pebbly initially at the waters edge . The sea was refreshing in the late afternoon when there was no breeze . there was a swimming pool but I didnt see it . The food was served buffet style and there was quite a good variety of dishes for breakfast and dinner . The staff were very keen to help . The restaurant was spacious and quite open . It was a good place to stay for the duration of the trip and I'd stay there again.

Situated in Eceabat district of Canakkale, Hotel Casa Villa is only 300 metres from the sea. The hotel offers a beautiful green garden and a terrace with views of the Dardanelles. The elegant rooms of Casa Villa Hotel include a TV, air conditioning and a minibar. They all have a private bathroom with a bath tub or a shower. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the rooms.
I stayed at this place with my wife and 18 months old son for three nights. I agree with the other comments in trip advisor re the rooms and breakfast. And special thanks to İlkay. But that’s what you expect when you pay for such a place. We were shocked with the behaviors of the hotel owner. She was not polite from the day we arrived. I assume she still thinks this is her house but not a hotel where we pay for the service. We had a small issue with the bathroom furniture and politely informed her the situation, not asking for a fix during our stay. But afterwards she was accusing our son for breaking it and claim for the cost of fix. I might have stayed more than 1,000 nights whole my life in different hotels around the globe and was terribly offended by this behavior which I faced for the first time. She was even questioning my wife the reason for our stay in the hotel but not with our relatives in the town. Last but not least even we checked out the room before 11:30, paid the hotel bill, left the key to the reception and were waiting our son sleep by the pergola, Mrs. Birgül Ejder didn’t hesitate to bother us speaking loudly asking “why we were still in the hotel and didn’t give the room key to “herself””. I assume a further investigation by the tourism office will remind her this is not a property for her own use but a hotel for the service of its customers.
