Featuring The Roasted Tomato Restaurant with comfortable, modern lounge. All the amenities of a large scale hotel at reasonable prices. HOT COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST.
I wanted to stay at a place not too far from Bushkill falls. This place is only about 15 to 20 minutes away from the Falls. Staff was friendly and they provide a good continental breakfast. Our room was clean, but the hallway and our room had an odd odor. We were not near the smoking section of the hotel so not quite sure what the smell was from. Slept well overnight... The hotel was quiet at night time. There is a small restaurant located within the hotel for the roasted tomato. Restaurant service was great and the food was delicious.

Stayed here multiple times for multiple nights while working in the area. Always a pleasant stay. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is still limited but sufficient because of covid restrictions. Will stay here again.

I think some of the review here are unfair. The place is clean, the breakfast is plentiful and the staff is very nice and helpful. Yes the furniture is a bit old, but it’s a staybridge, so I kinda expected that.

My sisters and I have stayed there 4 times already this year since we have been in the area helping my mother. After a long day, it is an incredible rest for your body and soul. We fell in love with the cabins as soon as we saw them. You can't beat the value because the rate includes up to 4 people and there is plenty of room. They have a wonderful screened in porch, full kitchen, living room, bedroom. Cottages are clean and well maintained. Hiram, the owner, is extremely helpful and pleasant. Pets are allowed which is also a plus. We recommend Echo Valley Cottages to everyone we know traveling in the Stroudsburg / Bushkill area.

We are near many warm weather activities such as boating, canoeing, rafting, kayaking, water skiing, golfing and water parks (both outside and indoor). In the winter, there is snow skiing (downhill and cross country), snow boarding, tubing, and snowmobiling. All year long there is great hiking, horseback riding, antiquing, outlet and flea market shopping, and gambling.
Where do I begin? First, I tried to fix my issues while on site, and by calling 10 times since my stay, not counting the times either no one picked up or the call was cut off. I could not get anyone to speak with me and try to resolve these issues: 1) hall and room floors were DIRTY. Just not vacuumed. 2) Trash littered throughout grounds. 3)No way to darken room - blinds do not close properly, no curtains, cracks in door, between door and jamb, and around transom above door. 4) No stopper for tub or sink, could not do my hand wash. 5) Toilet did not flush properly, tub did not drain properly. 6) No stand by bed for electronics or light. 7) Requested early breakfast, was denied. Arrived at 9am opening but nothing had been prepared. Later a plastic bag of supermarket bagels was tossed on table. When I opened a 2 pound slab of butter, I discovered black mold completely covered one side of it. I could go on, but I won't.

Ok as a last resort. There was nothing else available so we stayed here for one night with 2 adults, 3 kids. Room was tiny and dark. No table to eat. The bathroom was right next to one of the beds and the toilet was only a few feet away from my husbands head as he slept ick. Bathroom and shower were very small. Some fast food, stores nearby. Very overpriced!!

Don't go. We were given a filthy unit. Thank God maintenance was great. They came late at night when it was time for bed because we found the sleeper sofa had old spoiled food under the mattress and the mattress smelled like pee. Kitchen tools poor. Vents clogged with food. Very dirty.

My husband and I booked a stay here for our one year anniversary. The room was clean and the on-site activities were fun. However, there are severe issues with the check-in staff and system. Checking in involved going to two separate desks that had no communication with each other. I asked the concierge (the second desk in the process) if we could have a late checkout. He promptly said and promised he would make it happen. On the morning of check-out, i went to the desk again to confirm what time for late check-out and was abruptly told that I was not on the check-out log. The following conversation was frustrating. They were rude and condescending and treated me like it was my fault. At one point a staff named Arlene said "maybe your mom made the mistake". I booked this myself and did not have anyone else on this trip. My husband and I had to rush ourselves getting out of the unit since Arlene told us "you better hurry if you don't want that fee". Very upsetting ending to what would have been a very nice stay.
