We stayed for one night in May and I must say whilst the location is gorgeous we were totally shocked at the state of our room. It was classed as a four poster delux room. There was nothing delux about it. Granted there was a four poster bed but it was dreaful, part of it fell on us in the night. The carpet had seen better days and the furniture in the rooms resembled what I recall having for my Sindy in the 70s it was so dated and shabby. The bathroom was also in need of a complete refub. The windows were taped shut and the whole room looked like it was being held together by sealant!! We didn't even use the shower it was that bad. The stairwell was dangerous, my husband fell on it 3 times, so I would avoid having a room if you must stay here on the 2nd floor. The main staircase whilst grand is shabby and could do with a good dust. Such a shame that a beautiful old building like this, has not been maintained - some investment to bring it back to it's former glory is much needed. I was also shocked that whilst we paid £140 for the night which we paid upfront, the hotel then took an additional £20 off my Amex without approval as we had a dog with us. I have called the hotel several times and was told the owners would call and nothing. I will not be staying here again. Come on guys put some love into the place and respond to your customers!

Whether you're travelling as a couple or with the kids, our Premier Inn Bridlington Seafront hotel is in the perfect spot for coastal breaks. You'll have Bridlington's North Beach right on your doorstep, ideal whether you're building sandcastles, visiting the Flamborough Head Lighthouse, or watching for rare sea birds at the RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Back at the hotel, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at our Cookhouse & Pub restaurant, before soaking up the partial sea views from your room and relaxing on a super-comfy Hypnos bed.
Our car broke down so it was just a bed for the night. The hotel has a great position and the staff were very friendly. The buffet breakfast was fine but the fried eggs were over cooked. A word with the chef and fresh ones appeared immediately. If I return to Bridlington I would definitely stay here.

We have stayed here on several occasions, it's in a great handy location, clean and tidy and the staff are always courteous and friendly. Very reasonably priced and with car parking, although at the minute the car park is closed due to maintenance work on the building.

Get the best of both worlds at Premier Inn Hotel Hull West - bordering the beautiful Humber Bridge Country Park but with access to Hull city centre. So whether you're after country quiet or city attractions, we'll make sure you wake up ready to explore. Set a course for the ocean depths at The Deep Submarium. Get out on the green at Hessle Golf Club. Catch the main event at KC Stadium or take some time out in the museum quarter. After a busy day, head back for a bite in our tasty restaurant and a great night's sleep in your extra-comfy bed.
The hotel was lovely but quite difficult to find despite using sat nav. Needs better signage out on main road/roundabout. The thing that lets it down, as with some other Premier Inns is the Brewers Fayre next door where you have to go to eat. The service was bad and we had to send a roast chicken back as it was disgusting, all dry and meat hard. Manager replaced with something else (it was already paid for) and free desserts but we did not go back for breakfast next morning as we were so disgruntled with the experience.

As you drive under the stone archway and up the sweeping drive you cannot fail to be impressed by the grandeur of Cave Castle Hotel & Country Club. This privately owned hotel is surrounded by 150 acres of parkland and blends medieval splendour with contemporary style to give a unique setting for weddings, conferences, family gatherings and business events. Cave Castle also boasts an award winning restaurant, 71 bedrooms, health club, spa and 18 hole golf course. In its present form, Cave Castle was built in 1875 and was converted into a hotel in the 1950's. The castle has a long and interesting history dating back to the 1700’s and it's hidden escape tunnels leading to the nearby church, dark cellars and a fascinating historic past – all make Cave Castle a great place to be. The perfect setting for you whether for work, for pleasure or to celebrate something special
Excellent from start to finish. The staff were all brilliant - friendly and welcoming and although some were clearly new and young they were very helpful. The golf course was a good test for the 12 of us - in v good condition - some tee boxes had clearly had some hammer but didn’t spoil any part of our 6 rounds. The pro shop were very good and kept our buggies topped up on an afternoon from a morning round. The food was superb - often on golf breaks you get bland but we had excellent food at Cave Castle. Was v v quiet on the course we often got out earlier than our booked time. We will definitely be returning.

We had a two night stopover at the Ibis hotel in Hull May/June traveling to Hull by train. Our primary reason for visiting Hull was to see a concert at the ‘Bonus Arena’ and we chose the hotel because of its proximity to both the venue and also the railway station. We stayed on an additional night to take the opportunity to take a look around the Hull and the hotel is also well positioned to reach both the ‘old town’ and marina areas of the city. We were given a ground floor room and this was reached via a corridor from the reception area. The room was not large but suited our needs for a short stay. The room was furnished with flat screen TV, hair dryer and ‘open’ wardrobes (with hangers), and shelving to lay clothes on. The room had a double bed which was very comfortable (we both slept well), and limited tea and coffee making facilities. There were ample three pin plug sockets in the room one of which had USB sockets. The room had one window which looked out onto the hotel car park and this had a very good quality curtain which made the room very dark when pulled. The bathroom had a basin, toilet and shower with a reasonable amount of flat surfaces to stand toiletries on. Liquid soap and shampoo were available if required and also a 110/240v shaving socket. The bathroom appeared to take the form of a ‘pre-fabricated’ unit which is installed into the room as the hotel is constructed so consequently there is little sound proofing provided between the bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was served in a room to the front of the hotel and comprised a fairly comprehensive buffet style arrangement complete with cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, cooked breakfast, tea & coffee, fruit juice and toast. There is not a large number of tables here but the staff on duty worked hard to clear and clean then after each use so that they were available for the next diner. Overall, the hotel appeared clean and well maintained and all of the staff that we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. We would certainly consider a return stay here if we were to visit Hull by train.

Slumber by the river Humber at the Premier Inn Hotel Hull City Centre. Dive into the ocean depths at 'The Deep' submarium. Catch the big game at KC Stadium. Wander around the museums of the old town, or take a flutter at Beverley Races. Anna and Amy were absolutely superb during the breakfast service. They both went entirely out of their way to go above and beyond which made a real difference to our working day having had very little sleep indeed due to work schedules. Thank you to both.

Stayed four days for a wedding reception and mini break. Hotel is showing signs of wear, but don't be put off. Mercure is a very busy hotel. On the day of the reception there were two receptions running at the same time. On booking in we found our room wasn't suitable as my we couldn't use the bath, but needed a room with a shower. Receptionist called Rodica excuse the spelling was able to move us without any drama. I have to say the staff are so helpful and showed patience and understanding. Difficult enough job they do, but always a smile and a nice word goes along way. Some reviews where critical of the food served, but never had any such problems. Food served at the reception was excellent as was the breakfast and hotel restaurant food. Top nosh. would like to say special thank you to Nickie, chef's Tommy, Sam, all the bar staff and receptionist Rodica, and Natasha. Hope I haven't left anyone out. Good helpfull staff made the say at the Mercure a joy. Visit to the merina in hull is a must, and definitely a visit to the Deep aquarium. Big question would you stay here again. Definitely.

Better sleeping in a bin. Hotel is run by wren kitchens. Rooms are tired and food is absolutely rubbish. You may aswell eat your own pop then eat in this so called hotel. Also don’t buy from wren kitchens. Bigger cowboys than John Wayne and Clint Eastwood put together
