Wifi signal not available when entering the room (MU01). The bathroom shower is not suitable for early person. The breakfast provided was acceptable except for the first day, as we are the only guest, it was served to our room. The room was comfortable enough, try not to stay near the pool, as a bit noisy.

I stayed with my wife 1night to diving from Dungun to Teggol. It takes about 20minites to Dungun. This hotel is on 2nd floor in shop lot and still new. That faces the road, but was so quiet. It takes 5-10minites by car to restaurant and shop area in the town. But One pretty restaurant is on 1st floor in the shop lot. So you can take simple meal there. The room was super clean! That is not large room, But is designed to be easy to use. In bath room, shower and toilet areas are separated. Cleaning in bath room was also perfect. So I was very comfortable. Bed mattress was good quality & condition. They prepared tea & coffee set with kettle in the room. I will stay this hotel when come around here next time.

Very clean premises and very friendly people. We were supposed to arrive at 6 PM but due to heavy rain and a mishap, ETA was 1 AM. I messaged and apologized to Muaz and he responded, "Noted Drive Safe ya". Finally arrived at midnight and were greeted by his brother, Muslim. Such a well-spoken and pleasant young man! We slept like babies that night as the room was so pleasant, clean and welcoming. The bathroom was also spotless (my kids will tell you that I'm fussy about cleanliness). We could top up filtered water in the pantry and there were beverages and instant noodles - honour system, just drop your payment into a jar! We had breakfast plans otherwise the warung just opposite looked very promising as there were cops having their breakfast there! Cops ALWAYS know where the best meals are to be had! <3 <3 ;P We'll certainly stay here again if we go to Dungun!

Perfect Getaway.. An experience you must explore! The serene shores of Paka is ideally built with The Qamar Paka, that brings you a whole new meaning of total comfort. It's simply the best escape from the hustle of urban madness to the undisturbed town of Paka, a quaint suburb in the state of Terengganu, East Cost of Peninsular Malaysia.
Loving the morning seaview from my room. I stayed in the chalet room facing the sea and the small playground area. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool. However the facilities in the rooms are pretty old. The rooms were not very soundproof as i can hear the baby next door cried. The breakfast spread was quite nice and delicious with varieties of choice.

Positives: - Location is convenient if you are looking for an overnight stop before catching the ferry to Pulau Tenggol. - Free parking while you are staying there. We were told that you can leave your car at the car park if you are staying at Tenggol Coral Beach Resort only. - Service. Staff are friendly. Negatives: - Security. Receptionist didn’t ask for ID when we picked up our keys (which were openly lying on the reception desk with the booking name written on a post it on top) so anyone could’ve taken our room key. We booked the quad room which was located downstairs next to reception and the restaurant so we had people eating on tables right in front of our room door and could see into our room if we didn’t close the curtains or the door. - Cleanliness. Quad room had cobwebs around the bunk beds and ceiling. THE TOILET WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING - there was snot/phlegm in the sink and there was hair and dirt (which we presume were from the previous occupants) on the floor and walls of the toilet. - Facilities need to be upgraded. Bunk beds were super uncomfortable and creaking. Toilet seat wasn’t screwed in properly so was moving when you sit on it.

We were offered a house with 3 rooms and each room has its connected bathroom. The house has a living hall, a kitchen, and a dining area. The bathroom is very basic. You may need to bring your own towel, bath soap, and shampoo. The bed is hard. Pillow is ok. My room smells of cigarette. If you are driving here, then you can park your car at the house where you stay. The surrounding of the hotel is nice with a well-tended garden. The place is far away from shops and you may need to drive a few meters to have lunch or dinner.

Finding an ideal small hotel in Dungun does not have to be difficult. Welcome to Teluk Lipat Seaview Inn, a nice option for travelers like you. Rooms at Teluk Lipat Seaview Inn offer air conditioning and a desk providing exceptional comfort and convenience, and guests can go online with free wifi. A 24 hour front desk and a concierge are some of the conveniences offered at this small hotel. If you are driving to Teluk Lipat Seaview Inn, free parking is available. I stay for 1 night. The room, toilet, AC on very good condition and clean. Big screen tv. The only issue is other guest sit on the chair and chatting, smoking right infront of my door. Noisy and bad smell. The resort management might want to remove the table and chair along the corridor in future.

Pen'U Cottage is an 11 room contemporary hotel at the heart of Dungun Town. Pen'U pronounce as PENYU (turtle in Malay). Pen'U also have the similar pronunciation in Mandarin as 朋友 FRIEND. At PEN'U COTTAGE, we are "YOUR HOMESTAY FROM HOME."
Stayed there for a night. It is a budget hotel so do not expect much. I recommend this place to people who are looking for a budget place to sleep. Room is good for a one night stay. Room is small but you will have just enough space to walk in the room. Comes with basic facilities (Bed, TV, table, kettle) with private bathroom. Just enough cleaniness to get over with your business. Has working Wifi so you can do your work if required. Has a shared pantry. Travel light is you are coming here as they have steep stairs and narrow corridor. If you coming in weekdays, do not forget to pay for the carpark (buy parking coupons at local shop) but otherwise it is free on weekends and public holidays. The good thing about this place is there lots of nearby shops for your daily needs. If you are there on Thursday, the local vendors/hawkers are having a “Evening Markets” (“pasar malam” as the local calls it) across the main road (5mins walking distance) 5pm onwards, where you can grab local delicacies such as Satar, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Lemak, Hamlet, Ayam Percik for cheap. You know you are there when you see lots of vendors selling their goods and dishes under canopies.

We booked for a house facing the sea under Semarak Beach Inn but unfortunately they gave us a house that is under Promenade (apparently under same management) which is not facing the sea at all (totally no view). We argued on this as we paid the price for seaview and they insist that the amount we paid for is for the back house with view. We produced booking evidence but they insist that we need to pay extra RM20 for the beach front house. They also keep telling us that its Expedia's fault and asked us to lodge a report to Expedia. The question was 'Why should we?'. we did the booking under Hotels.com and have nothing to do with Expedia sending them wrong email. That will be their problem with Expedia not us as customer. When we advised them that they are the one who should be complaining to Expedia, they bickered to us that it is us who should do the complaints yada yada yada. The manager who handles this matter on site was very rude. He doesn't listen to customers. Everytime we wanted to explain, he interrupted us and continue his bickering. Spoke with the Boss (owner) to explain and seek for solution, sadly, the Boss is also bad in customer service. Before I could explained, he shuts me off. Just to summarize, Service is really bad and we felt cheated. My advice is, stay away! House 2/10. Service 1/10. Did i mentioned, the sofa was broken (they fixed by putting a concrete brick to elevate the sofa). Broken toilet/wash basin. dirty fridge.
