Worst customer service
Reviewed By triplover04I have been staying at this hotel before and after covid19. The service had become worsts. I checked in with Tamara, who was very cold, no smile. Then , I had issues with internet. I was unable to connect to premium internet. When connecting with my name and room number, I got error saying my name and room number incorrect, then I tried to connect to regular internet, unable to conbect also. I have been staying at several other Marriott chain and never had the issue. Another staff Benjamin tried to help me but without success. He said I have to contact customer service because they outsource the service. I waited at least 15 minutes without any response…. Hotel cant do anything… It has Ben the third time in a month I stayed there and have the same internet issue. Stay away from this hotel, people working there are not very helpful.

I had to cancel a reservation at last minute because of COVID and they wouldn’t waive the reservation penalty. First time that’s happened at any Hilton property (and I’m a Diamond member). They’ve lost far more from my future business than the one nights money they got. If you have a choice, book somewhere else and show these types of properties what’s more important. It was purely the managers decision and she chose the quick dollar.

Airport shuttle doesn't run after midnight
Reviewed By bauman147I used my mobile app to check in before arrival, but my flight was late getting in. When I called for the shuttle, after being on hold for more than 5 minutes, I was told the shuttle doesn't run after 1145 pm. It cost me $20 for a 1 mile ride from the airport to the hotel in a taxi. If I hadn't already checked-in, I would have either found a hotel with a free shuttle or maybe even looked into staying at the airport hotel. The thermostat was set at 19° C/84° F and needed a passcode to be able to change it. Also the bathroom door, which was a barn-style rolling door, looked very nice but when you roll it open it likes to roll itself back to the halfway spot, so that it's half open and half closed. And, like all hotels these days, there is no overhead light in the room. You turn the light switch on at the door for the overhead hall light, and then have to walk to a lamp and fumble around to figure out how to turn it on. I will never understand why hotels do this, and it always makes me question how clean the room really is if I can turn on an overhead light to see. When I called to request a late check-out, I was again out on hold for a few minutes, and when they were finally able to take my call I was told a late check-out wasn't available. Perhaps they are understaffed? I made a reservation here because I love Hampton Inns, and this was a Hilton-hotel-chain member close to the airport for a one night layover, and I expected a Hampton Inn quality stay. But perhaps DoubleTree is a lesser quality hotel than Hampton? IDK, but I was a bit disappointed. It certainly wasn't a terrible experience, but it definitely could have been better.

Reviewed By rickybobThis is one of the finest in airport hotels we have ever stayed in. Rooms have very very comfortable beds and a very nice bath and shower. The bar/restaurant is fantastic. Our bartender was a joy and was extremely helpful. The food was high restaurant quality . My short ribs were amazing as was my wife’s pasta. Really really good. The physical spaces are very well appointed and only a three minute walk to the Delta or United check in. Everyone at check in was very helpful. Only petty suggestion. Get better and more bath towels for the very nice bathroom. Would we stay here again? Yes! And we are in a week!

Reviewed By Passport07678650667Comfortable, clean and updated rooms. The free breakfast was great before our flight. Really friendly, helpful and accommodating front desk staff. We interacted with multiple staff who went above and beyond to make sure all was well for our car storage and for our travel to and from the airport, both at the beginning and the end of our trip. We would stay there again for sure.

Excellent stay
Reviewed By Sunloving1234Recently stayed night before our trip and when we returned. Booked online the park n stay package. No problem checking in. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was was clean and comfy. Not very noisy for its location. Breakfast was great. Many choices and well stocked. Thought it was a good choice. Car was still in one piece upon return. Yes parking is limited so phone ahead. We would definitely return.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, just 1 kilometer from the airport and 20 kilometers from Montreal Downtown. The guest rooms have a king bed or two queen beds. The rooms were clean, the desk person Melanie was very friendly and super-helpful, and though there’s no restaurant on site there are snacks available for purchase so you can get something to eat if you’re in a rush. We got a great night’s sleep and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Mandatory Quarantine Stay
Reviewed By shijithkurupPLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE, even if you get it free. This is by far the worst hotel that I have stayed. Supposed to be a quarantine hotel, so hygiene should be a top priority; but it isn’t. The room was dirty, they didn’t change the sheets & hell I don’t want to talk about the bathroom (See picture)… If only google had a provision to give negative rating…
